5 Star because the art was amazing, and the atmosphere was great, got to talk to many interesting artists and gallery folks.
1 Star because the art was too expensive for me to buy all of it.

Most important show of its kind west of Miami, 270,000 square feet of Modern and Contemporary Art, largest show in the State of California to purchase fine art. A must attend event. Over 15 countries represented with tremendous diversity. Supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Charity on the opening evening. I have fully enjoyed this exciting event for the last 15 years that I have attended it. More...

I liked the show this year a bit more than last. Yes for my taste there was a bit to many shiny backlit pricy objects pandering to the wealthy Collector and plenty of kitschy junk. But there was good art to be found of you had a open mind. I thought the entry to the show could have been handled with better planing as the lines were to long. Security was a bit over zealous too. I would like to see more effort I to curating a bit more solid shows within the shows. Overall glad I came. More...

I especially enjoyed the live performances and selection of contemporary galleries represented. But too many art copy cats. Too many Warhol rip offs and too many Basquiat rip offs. Other than that, pretty good. More...

It’s the best show of the year!! Can’t wait to go to the next one and bring friends who have never been. It’s always a fun and enlightening experience in the arts.

One of the best art shows. I had the pleasure to interview a couple participating artists. Cheech MarÃn conversation was very funny and informative. Looking forward to 2019.

I had never been to an art show before, I've been to art museums like the Getty but left feeling like I had taken nothing away with me. I loved the modern and contemporary artwork, the expression of raw emotion is something I can connect with and take away with me, so much creativity and color everywhere, it's artwork that's alive, emotionally relevant, validating. I loved experiencing so many different flavors of emotion. More...

Yes, it is big. No, it’s not Basel. But it’s LA, and I go every year and find it rewarding. Have reviewed in detail at The Hollywood Sentinel (dot com) ever since moved to Convention Center.

Wonderful experience! Tickets, food and drinks at the show are pretty pricey but the experience I had is worth every penny!
I never write reviews so this tells you something! Go and enjoy best local and international art!
There are some weird elements like a very snobbish New York gallery that had security staring at you the whole time. Just a turn off I didn't go inside, too bad it was so uninviting I could have bought something or my friend who is a millionaire lol!!! Other than this episode a great experience with many humble and inviting artists who are great and spoke to us with friendly attitude sharing true love for art and beauty! Art at the art!!!
