I had a terrific time working with Charlse Eshelman. He was amazing, very professional, patient and funny. He made my session seemed easy and effortless. I had two change of outfits he was kind enough to wait till I was ready. He walked around with me to every location I wanted despite the crowd at time square. My photos 60+ came out right on time for my birthday also, I requested for a larger size for some of the photos which fixed within 2 hours. Best customer service experience ever!!! I rate him 10 star!!! More...
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Empathy, a genuine concern and interest for the person in front of the camera.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Ultimate goal and what you hope to achieve. Deadline for final images delivered? Shoot dates? Location? Rain dates? Number of looks or items. Budget?
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the excitement in people when they see the results of our shoot.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had the entrepreneur spirit at a early age. Started selling flower seeds door to door, a Lemonade stand on the corner. A little older, I provided services shoveling snow, raking leaves and cutting lawns. Then delivered newspapers. When I discovered my passion for photography with my first 35mm camera during a coast to coast bicycle trip across the USA, I knew I found my life pursuit.
