Great view. Place has an older look for the decor and the music seemed like the old saloon bar which was okay. Happy hour was also good. Â Dollar oysters good deal.

I had the small Japanese Wagyu ... very very good, quite tender, and cooked perfectly.My wife had a New York steak ... also cooked to perfection (both were medium rare). My starter was Lobster Bisque ... very nice.The desserts were somewhat chocolate deficient, choice-wise, but our excellent waiter (tomas? from poland) helped and I ended up with house-made eggnog ice cream and vanilla icecream which were quite good. My wife had a coconut banana concoction of some kind ... except for the coconut cake (on the bottom ... I dislike coconut) it was excellent.Service, view, food choice was excellent. The best crab loui I have ever eaten! The skirt steak with the sauces melted in our mouths! Service was outstanding!!!! Atmosphere in the covered patio was beautiful!

Came here for lunch today and had a wonderful lunch and crab Louie was outstanding and then me and my wife split the skirt steak it was like butter they do an awesome job here definitely would recommend this place . Great food and service

Best rib-eye steak I have ever eating. Tender, wonderful flavor. Service was exceptional. We are very slow eaters, we like to take our time to enjoy quality food, never felt rushed, even though staff was very attentive. My only complaint would be the noise level. I'v been back to Epic a couple of times since my initial review. I'm glad I did. Â This review is based on my meal on Sat., Dec . 28. Â We started with bread and butter (which is $6). The pull apart rolls were just out of the oven and tasty. Â Salads (Caesar and custom) were delicious; perfectly dressed and visually beautiful. Â We then had steaks -- 9 oz. filet mignon and 12 oz. dry aged NY strip; both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They were served with four house made sauces - chimichurri (fresh and herbaceous); Epic steak sauce (onion forward); bernaise (rich) and horseradish (perfect amount of bite). Since the steak comes with no sides, we ordered several to share -- french fries, roasted Brussel sprouts and delicata squash (which was the stand out side of the night). Â We were too full for dessert, but did get coffee to cap off our meal.The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a wonderful, expansive view of the Bay Bridge lights. The service was great and our server (Glen) was informative and helpful.Four stars vs. five stars because it is obscenely expensive ($300 for two with no alcohol), no side comes with your steak and they charge for bread & butter. Â A butter flight is suppose to come with you bread, but we got two butters and olive oil - and not even a special or unique olive oil. More...

Great spot on the water  with spectacular  views and great food  and service We had  some appetizers laid out as we sipped  some wine and took  in the views. We were then seated and the dinner began.  We had some terrific salads followed by your choice of steak or fish.  I selected the 8 oz fillet and it did the trick.  Thick cut and cooked perfectly.  Medium rare of course. The ambiance and atmosphere is wonderful almost magical with the glowing bay bridge as the background. The service was excellent. The food was average and actually disappointing. My husband and son asked for medium rare steaks and it came out still mooing. My husband ordered a side of sautéed mushrooms and they placed it all over his NY steak which overpowered the beef flavor in not a good way. I ordered the Sea bass which had a nice char on the outside but was just ok. I did not like the flavor of the celery purée that was all over the plate. We decided to skip dessert. More...

They gave us a complimentary birthday plate of fudge truffles with a candle and it was such a special surprise for my boyfriend, since I surprise planned this dinner for his birthday. On top of that, we were late for our reservation and they told us on the phone they’d hold our table, and when we arrived 25 minutes late, they seated us immediately which is pretty amazing. Went for an anniversary, and it felt like they really made an effort to make it special. Food, wine, atmosphere (love the lights from the Bay Bridge) was amazing but service was disappointing. Waited over 20 minutes from the time we were seated before our waitress came by for a drink order (mind you she walked past our table no less than 10 times In That 20 minute period).
