Eliza did hair and makeup for my mom and me for my wedding, and we were so happy with the experience, and the results! I hadn't thought too much about the "getting ready" part of the day but it ended up being really fun and memorable, thanks to Eliza's expertise. My mom was a little skeptical about professional makeup (due to a bad experience "having her colors done" in the late '80s...wish I had a picture of that!) but Eliza made her comfortable, and it was so great to see her looking and feeling like a million bucks. Eliza did my wedding makeup (as well as my bridesmaids and mother/MIL) and she was wonderful! My makeup trial run was a relaxing time at her in-home studio. Eliza's makeup aesthetic is a very natural, fresh look -- her objective is to make you look like you at your best, which is exactly what I wanted. We had a nice time talking -- not only to ensure I got the look I wanted, but just about our lives. She gave great advice on skincare leading up to my big day, and her calm and upbeat demeanor was much appreciated, especially on my wedding day! She is also extremely organized and professional -- she worked with my wedding coordinator far in advance to ensure that we all knew what time each wedding party member needed to be at our makeup appointments. On the big day, everyone loved their makeup and looked fabulous. Her professional makeup is of excellent quality and lasted all through a 85 degree outdoor summer wedding day. I also really appreciate that Eliza's assistant (who was working on the bridesmaids) took my bridesmaids' personal makeup styles into consideration while she was working. I reached out to Eliza for a last minute makeup appointment for a wedding and was impressed from Day 1! Eliza was prompt, professional and communicated clearly regarding my questions and services that I needed. Loved my make-up by Eliza!  I broke my collarbone and couldn't use my right arm so I enlisted her help for a black tie event.  She did a great job with both hair and make-up.  I got tousled waves that held up all night.  The make-up she uses us amazing!  I ordered the foundation which is very natural.  I would highly recommend her for any event.  She's so nice and easy to work with. I've worked with Eliza on two occasions - once for our engagement photo shoot and again for our wedding. When I went searching, I was specifically looking for someone who did both women's hair and makeup as well as men's grooming since both occasions would require my husband and I to look our best. I'm so glad that we met and were able to work with Eliza. She's a true artist and was great to collaborate with. She was able to take my inarticulate vision for both our engagement shoot and our wedding (which we booked her for based on our positive experience from the shoot) and turn them into reality. Eliza and her team were absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Working with Eliza was entirely stress-free; she is extremely professional and organized and I never worried for a minute that things wouldn't go smoothly. She reached out to the other vendors before the wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page about the schedule and she sent me a detailed schedule with everyone's start time. Eliza and her team were amazingly efficient without compromising quality in the slightest. We had six bridesmaids and two moms getting hair and make-up done before photos started at 1:30. Eliza and her team were right on time in the morning, did an incredible job with everyone's look, and we were all ready to go when the photos started!

I was also thrilled with how my hair and makeup looked. I did a hair and makeup trial a couple weeks before the wedding at Eliza's beautiful home studio. Eliza did an updo with clip-in extensions (I brought my own), and it looked incredible. A couple of hairs got loose in the hours after the trial and, when I mentioned this to Eliza, she knew exactly how to fix it. My hair stayed completely intact on my wedding day and looked great even after hours of dancing. I couldn't have been happier!

I hired Eliza for my wedding in Marin just based on her online reviews since I live in NJ. I am so happy that I chose her. We did a make up trial because that gave us time to meet and experiment with hair and make-up. I am allergic to quite a few makeup products, and Eliza was very considerate and patient during our trial. On the wedding day, I changed my outfit and she touched up the make-up to match that outfit and stayed with me during our photo session after the ceremony. I hired Eliza to do hair and makeup for me (bride) and my sister for my wedding in April, 2018.I had an excellent experience working with Eliza. She was so sweet and down to earth and easy to work with. At my trial, I feel like she really listened to what I wanted. I'm by no means fussy about hair/makeup (I do not wear makeup on a daily basis, and my hair is relatively low-maintenance). I had hairstyle ideas in mind (I shared photos with Eliza), but for the most part, I deferred to her expertise. I was very happy with the outcome of my trial and decided to go with that same style for the wedding. In the end, the wedding hairstyle (the day-of) came out EVEN BETTER than the trial!!! I loved it and felt so glamorous, but I also felt like myself. Regarding my makeup, I basically left it up to her since I wear so little makeup. I really just wanted to look like me... but amplified (and polished for the photos). I really didn't want something SO over the top that people wouldn't recognize me. She totally understood and came up with a look that I loved. She encouraged me to try the eyelash extensions at the trial, which I had hesitated about originally, but I'm glad I trusted her judgement since she knew how to make them look very natural (and in the end, they looked great in the photos).I got so many wonderful compliments on my hair and makeup, and the credit really goes to Eliza. She has an excellent eye for color and her attention to detail is amazing. The best part was that I didn't feel like I was wearing a TON of makeup (sure, it was a lot more than you'd wear on a daily basis, but it didn't feel over the top). I felt so comfortable with the makeup (and that's a big deal coming from a person who rarely wears makeup).Her services were at the very high end of my budget (admittedly, I spent more than I had originally intended), but in the end, I was happy I did because I was so satisfied with my experience and I felt like I could trust her to give me a classy, elegant look. I just had Eliza help me and my teenage girls with our hair and makeup for a family event. Eliza did my wedding hair and make-up a few months back and it was the BEST decision I ever made. Eliza was simply PERFECT. Her work is flawless, her professionalism is unbeatable, and her work ethic is amazing. I absolutely loved everything about the hair and make-up, it lasted all night, looked gorgeous, felt great and she really captured how I wanted to look that day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Eliza. She really listened and gave me a look better than I had imagined. My wedding party all felt great about their looks too; she made people getting hair or make-up done for the first time so comfortable, even my junior bridesmaids, ages 10 and 11, who she made look special for the occasion but still like little girls.
