Great service! Our server Jessica I believe is amazing. She was on it! We wanted extra beer couple bottles, food, and we were service fast. she nonchalant lingered around and cleaned the table and put orders with the help of Sergio who was a FUNNY guy. I went to Whiskey Business on a Saturday night & had a late dinner & some drinks with some friends on the rooftop for my friend's Birthday. Rooftop ambiance was so dope. I love the white light up seating area. You're literally seating in the perfect spot. The wings were good. Our server had a busy night but he kept checking on us in a timely manner which was great because we didn't have to walk to the bar for drinks. The manager Emmit did an amazing job accommodating me & my group as my friends kept joining the party later & later. I truly appreciated the vip treatment. I will definitely go back to Whiskey Business, especially for a special celebration. The music on the rooftop is more like techno but when the rooftop closes around 11:30pm the music inside is a mix of top 40s & Spanish music. We continued our party downstairs & we had a great time. I've been to whiskey one other time for my birthday brunch and we had a blast! Can't go wrong with bottomless mimosas. That was about a year ago. Last night I met up with friends last minute and was happy to learn that on Thursday they have 25% off for teachers and nurses...and guess who's a nurse? This girl! LOVED everything about Whiskey Business. We arrived about 11:45am for brunch on Saturday with a group of 5, easy street parking, and they gave us the option of multiple tables on their rooftop or their tables indoors. We all got the bottomless brunch deal and were SO glad that we did. I read reviews beforehand complaining of weak drinks that weren't filled often, but that was not at all our experience. I think I had about 7 mimosas in 2 hours, and they were plenty strong! We watched them pouring full bottles of champagne in each pitcher! Their bloody mary was delicious and strong as well! Lots of 20 and 30 somethings here, and it gets busy by 12:30.We got the chicken tacos (very mediocre) and the chicken and waffles (yummy!) for our meals, but honestly you come here for the atmosphere and the bottomless brunch, which are both stellar. Had a great time with friends. It was my first time going and i had a bit of a issue but Lewis and Emitt were on it . They made sure that my drink was replaced and that my visit was a night to remember. I’ve never been to a bar in Wicker Park that I was treated like this. I don't know why this place is getting less than a five-star review. Recently went here for a private event and had a great time! We arrived here on a Saturday afternoon at 1pm and the place was packed. The ground floor level was wall-to-wall people and 80% were women. I don't know if there was a bridal party or a special for females at this time, but it was jam packed. Our private event was held upstairs outside on the rooftop patio. Definitely a day party vibe. Our group was under the cute covered Cabanas. They have some cute pillows made to look like stuffed Whiskey Business T-shirts. It's a really nice patio, but very crowded. They had great music playing, and the sound level was perfect for conversations.There were several events going on at the same time. There was a birthday party, a business group, and a large friend's get together, besides our private event. To drink we had a One Touch Too Much cocktail (elijah craig small batch, orgeat (almond), pineapple juice, lime juice and angostura) and my favorite, an Electric Lemonade (big machine vodka, lemonade and blue curacao). Especially refreshing on a hot afternoon.For food we had a plate of delicious shrimp tacos (grilled shrimp with cilantro lime cabbage slaw served on corn tortillas with chipotle crema) and a plate of steak tacos (skirt steak with onions, cilantro and chihuahua cheese on corn tortillas with chipotle crema). The Steak Tacos were really good, but, I thought the Shrimp Tacos were excellent.Check out their Brunch Club on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as their weekly specials. Came here for brunch a few weeks ago. I loved their roof top. Very interesting concept. They play some good hits in the background so you can listen to some music while enjoying your food. I would recommend getting the blue frozen drink they have. I forgot it's name, but it's absolutely delicious. The food here is decent. Put on sun screen if you're going to spend some time on the roof top. Their isn't much protection from the sun's rays up there. More...

I visited for the first time last weekend on a Friday evening around 9pm. The downstairs bar area (very small) wasn't very busy but the rooftop - where we were already headed - was pretty crowded. We were still able to grab a table without having to wait but the service was pretty slow. It took about 10 minutes from ordering our drinks to receiving them. The cocktails were tasty and I liked all of the ones my table had ordered - even the ones that had alcohol in them that I don't like. The service continued to be pretty slow which is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The truffle fries were good too but the portion seemed really small. We were getting ready to leave at 12 and that's when the rooftop was closing already so it didn't matter. I was surprised at how quickly the atmosphere was changing to more of a nightclub and people were starting to take to the indoor areas of the second floor to start dancing. It seemed like a weird transition and I probably wouldn't return for the club like vibes that happen later on in the evening. I do want to come back for brunch during the weekend. More...

Came here with a group of girlfriends visiting for a Bachelorette party. Our server, Charlie, was great and very accommodating. We had a cabana reserved and got amazing service. Our 2 hour timeframe turned into us staying there for over 5 hours just having a great time. Lots of good shareable plates you can easily split with friends.
