Ok... let's start with the service. It was fantastic, the server was present but not hovering... he had an excellent knowledge of the menu and accurately made sure our specific requests were honored. The beef carpaccio was out of this world a d do not skip the fried green tomatoes... the filet and scallops were FANTASTIC.. as far as dessert I cannot accurately describe the whole experience of our upside down key lime pie, so I just took a picture. It is a pricey dinner but worth every penny More...

Visited Eli's table for dinner around 2 years ago and have been craving their Gouda Fondue ever since!! We visited again the other night and were again 100% satisfied. Our server, Luke, was amazing and really made our experience an enjoyable one. Stopped in for brunch our first day in Charleston. Kimberly was an incredible server and our food was amazing. We had the avocado bacon sandwich, the French onion Benedict and the biscuit with Tasso gravy. It was all delicious!!

This is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at during my stay in Charleston SC. I first went here to grab some beignets for a snack and loved the place and went back to try some more food of there and loved it. This is truly a great restaurant and the staff was incredible, they were very helpful and comprehensive, and were able to tell you everything about the menu. They have an amazing venue with and outdoor courtyard which doesn't dissapoint. They have great shrimp and grits and a dynamic menu. One of our favorite stops in Charleston. They have amazing brunch food. We always get the fried green tomatoes, which are layered with pimento cheese and surrounded, in a soup style bowl, with burnt garlic and some other yummy sauce, that I haven't quite figured out. I also had the sweet potato pancakes (no syrup needed) and a side of bacon. My boyfriend had the Eli burger, and he said it was tasty and very filling. All the food displays are very appealing and thoughtful. The French fries were a hit and I'm not a fry fan. The best grilled cheese with the basil and tomato is something new seek out for a late lunch. Very friendly staff. We visited with our two boys, 6 & 4, and the staff was welcoming. We ordered the beet salad, fried green tomatoes, beef carpaccio, shrimp and grits with seared scallops on the side, sautéed kale, and Mac and cheese. Yes, it was a ton of food. Yes, we enjoyed every bite. I would skip the beef carpaccio in the future, but it was still very good. Each dish was well done, balanced, and presented well. Breakfast on the patio was perfect. My wife enjoyed the spinach omelet and I had the classic breakfast. Portions were plentiful and the biscuit was the bomb. Ask for a second one!!
