Thank you for accommodating our party of 8 with no reservations, and at peak time! We loved the food and every staff member that attended us gave 100% service. The salsas were delicious, the carne asada very tasty, the popcorn shrimp very good, Milanesa torta was great as well! Will definitely be returning, and recommending this restaurant to friends. Who would have thought a Mexican restaurant next to a strip club could be so amazing I've been to El Dorado Cantina a few times now & have never been disappointed. The location is questionable, but once you're inside you can feel how authentic this place is.On my most recent visit I was seated at the bar and Taylor was my bartender. He was super friendly and attentive. His drink suggestions were awesome & tasted even better. The food is also always outstanding here. My favorite is the shrimp taquitos. I've never found this offered at any other Mexican restaurant. The shrimp portions are generous & the guac on top is so good. The flan is a must try too for dessert lovers. It has a bit thicker texture than most and is made in house daily. This is definitely a good spot to hit up for happy hour! They also provide locals discounts on Mondays. More...

Hands down best Mexican food and amazing service.  We felt so welcomed as soon as we arrived, even waiting for our table was pleasant.  I can't say enough about the quality and level of attentive service we received. The manager Favi set the stage along with Ostan and our waiter Peter to make the most special dinning experience we've ever had in Las Vegas. My advice? Decided to take my family visiting from Boston. They wanted a delicious Mexican restaurant and all I could think of was this location.  They found out hilarious that its next to a strip club but were very surprised how lovely the restaurant was from inside.  We're didn't have reservations but that was not a problem.  We were sat right away and were informed about the locals discount on Monday's. I've been coming here for the past 3 years and today is such a different experience. There's a new genera manager Xaviar who seems to turning this place around.  The place was much busier and the staff was a lot more attentive and nicer. I don't even know where to begin with the immense plethora of amazing things I have to say about this restaurant. I was first brought here by a friend who spent so much time hyping up the food and service here that I fell under the impression that there was no way it would end up actually meeting the expectations that were set by my friend. I was blown away right from the get go with the quality of the complimentary chips and salsa as well as the impeccable customer service from the waiting staff. My favorite is the carne asada street tacos but I have also tried various other items from the menu and each and every one has always been nothing less than mind blowingly amazing. Brought my mom here this evening for her birthday dinner as well as first visit and instantly became a favorite of her's as well. Our waiter was Jeff and he was great for the entire duration of our visit, always coming off as 100% genuine any of the times he was helping us. 99% of the time I interact with waiters or waitresses, I get met with that same old, painfully blatant fake niceness that only gets mustered up for the sake of hopefully squeezing out as big of a tip as possible. However, all the waiting staff at El Dorado Cantina will meet you with genuine niceness and a constant willingness to help whenever needed. Also, my mom got to wear a seriously killer hat while they sung happy birthday to her. Undoubtedly, it is irrefutable fact that there is no better hat in existence, nor is there a better restaurant as a whole than El Dorado Cantina. Let me start by saying- I never order rice in a Mexican restaurant. I'm not sure what witch craft they make their rice with here but it is the best rice I've ever had eating out. This place is such an interesting find. We almost didn't go because we thought it was in the strip club and we weren't dressed up enough for that. Luckily​, it's​ actually right next door and is its own separate​ space. It's​ beautifully decorated and very elegant. The food is unique and authentic, not tex-mex. So nice, we ate there twice! We originally went here because it they had gluten free options and they're walking distance from the hotel we're staying at. We sat up at the bar and our bartender Whitney was awesome. She was sweet, attentive, welcoming, and made great drinks. I ordered the lobster tacos with a side of rice and beans. Those tacos were so delicious that I kept talking about them several more times that day. Wow the margarita is strong! And I am not complaining. Came in for a late lunch. Maybe the best Mexican I've ever had. Our group devoured the table side guac, then I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster tacos, which were seasoned perfectly and had just the right accessories. I kept going and ate half of my boss's mole, not caring if I got fired for it. I have always hated flan but agreed to give it one more try at Ericka's insistence, and now consider myself a convert! Really good spot and just off the freeway. On our road trip from LA to Lake Powell we decided to grab a bite.  The environment was classy and relaxing and Ericka was wonderful to us. Pleasant conversation and friendly and fast service. The manager comes by and makes sure everything is up to standards. Can't say enough about the place! My 18 month old also ate all of the food I put on his plate and that almost never happens! And even after he dropped and broke a plate, everyone was super nice and cleaned it up fast. Chose this place based on reviews and it didn't disappoint.  Was confused at first following google directions when arrived at a gigantic strip club, but then saw the entrance for the restaurant. The gentleman at the front door was very pleasant and professional.  Our server, Camille, was awesome.  We asked menu recommendations and feel like she answered honestly.  That was much appreciated.The chips and salsa were good.  We prefered the green salsa, to the red but both were good. We shared steak fajitas and beef empanadas.  The fajitas were excellent!  So much meat!  We probably could have skipped the empanadas, but we had never had them, so was fun to try.Highly recommend!!
