About

In a magical world we rarely stop to notice, I use tricks, illusions & humor to awaken the sense of childlike wonder that makes magic real.

I perform close-up magic & mind tricks because I love making new friends and experiencing the magic with them.

...And remember:
TRICKS ARE NOT JUST FOR KIDS !!!

Q&As

I've been interested in magic my entire life. At a very young age, I remember attempting to do shows in my grandparents living room. In 3rd or 4th grade a magician came to my classroom and taught us a few tricks. Over the years, I continued to learn a few tricks here and there. I've used magic throughout my business career as a way of entertaining and connecting with people. A few years ago, a magician performed at my church. My son who was 7 or 8 at the time really loved the show and became interested in doing magic. I dug out an old shoe box full of tricks and we started doing magic together. He eventually got interested in other things like Rubik's cubes, Pokémon cards and fidget spinners, but I had been bitten by the "magic bug" and continued to practice tricks and perform them for anyone who would watch.

I consider myself a family entertainer and all my shows are clean. I do tricks that appeal to all ages. I use sleight of hand to make objects disappear and reappear, change places, color or something altogether different. I also do some fake mind reading and even make fire appear from time to time. My patter and delivery is typically more silly and slapstick when performing for children and dry and sarcastic for adults, but it really depends on the audience. Because there's so much spectator interaction, every show is unique, which makes it really fun for me. My goal is not to present a bunch of tricks and make people feel like they've been fooled. I want to entertain people, make them laugh and feel a sense of joy and wonder.

I absolutely love the fact that people pay me to do something I love. It's still hard to believe!

To be honest, it really just happened out of nowhere. As a "Hobbyist" I loved practicing new tricks and performing for anyone who would watch. I did small events at my church and performed for friends, family and co-workers. Along the way people kept telling me I should be doing this for money and that I should "be on T.V". "Are you going on America's Got Talent"? was the most common question I got. I was flattered but figured they were just being polite, until one day a woman gave me her card and said she wanted to hire me for an event she was in charge of. I did that event, passed out business cards and have been working word of mouth ever since.

There are a lot of great magicians in the Twin Cities. Many of them are my friends. You should only hire me if what I've said above resonates with you and the event you are planning.
