I have had Lauren do photos for us several times--my son's 3rd birthday pictures, a maternity shoot, a newborn shoot, and a family shoot. Lauren has a wonderful way with children and has been able to win over even my skeptical children. She always manages to capture their personalities--even if that means a gorgeous photo of a scowl. Lauren has done my photos three times: a group breastfeeding shoot, mini family session, and a full photography session (family, nursing, and one year cake smash). Lauren did our newborn, 6 month/family, and 1 year pictures. I cannot say enough good things about her and her work! She was so patient and good with our daughter. She got all the perfect sleepy newborn shots (even at 3 weeks old!), and got gorgeous 6 month, family, and newborn shots for us. She even met us a second time for the 6 month pictures since babies don't always cooperate! I highly recommend her. More...

We had family pictures on with Lauren. She did an amazing job getting all 5 of us in pictures that looks absolutely gorgeous and has blown away everyone who has seen them. She captured my children's personalities and us as a family on film (is it still called film if it's digital?) Lauren did our family/daughter's 1yr birthday photos at Symmes Park. She was punctual and prepared with a blanket and wicker chair to use as props. We also brought our family dog. Between a nearly 1yr old baby and a hyper dog, she was very patient and able to get them to look at her with smiles. Lauren delivered the photos early with some extras. We worked with Lauren in July this year for family photos and they are stunning! We went to Spring Grove cemetery and for an hour Lauren took every picture and pose we asked for and more. We had 2 toddlers with us and she worked so well with them and worked around their busy habits :)

The price point was amazing for the quality of the photos we received. We adored, literally, every photo we received back and the editing was phenomenal.

I've recommended Lauren to several people and will continue to do so. We plan to use Drawing In Light for all of our future photo needs! More...
