It has been 3 weeks since I had my revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Kosins. After having 2 unsuccessful rhinoplasties, I can honestly say that the third time was a charm. If you are really interested in a nose job, end your search and schedule a consultation with Dr. Kosins as soon as possible.His team is amazing. Everyone at the office always greets you with a smile and are very helpful. Nurse Judy is my favorite! She was there for me at all times throughout this process. She even held my hand the week after my surgery as Dr. Kosins removed my sutures, which by the way were nicely stitched. When I noticed Dr. Kosins neat sutures, I was very pleased with how delicate he is with his work. I definitely chose the perfect surgeon. Let's not forget the hospital staff. Everyone was so professional and nice. They made the surgery day feel like a breeze with their efficiency and clear instructions. I had never had such a fast paced hospital experience.A rib graft and small ear cartilage was used for my over rotated and crooked nose and asymmetrical nostrils. All incisions are hardly visible, which I love. I put all my faith into this surgery and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results.Everyone heals differently, but I was fortunate enough not to bruise or swell on the outside. I followed all the instructions provided. You may think it's overwhelming at first, but it truly isn't. Specially not when you have Judy checking up on you every day after your surgery to make sure you're okay and taking your medications properly. She is so sweet and caring. You will have an extraordinary experience with Dr. Kosins and his team. Believe me when I say you have nothing to worry about! Dr. Kosins is a professional who is well educated and highly qualified. He strives to provide only the best work for all his patients and I confirmed it as soon as I woke up from the anesthesia. All you have to do is trust him, and let him change your life (If your nose is a big insecurity like it was for me).I feel more confident infront of a camera and a lot of my insecurities have disappeared. So my story begins with a hernia growing in size and causing a lot of discomfort above my belly button from 2 pregnancies. I planned to wait on repairs until my kids were a bit older, but we unexpectedly met our deductible, so this was the year...I began looking at tummy tucks because the recovery timeline for a hernia repair and tummy tuck are similar- no lifting for 6-8 weeks. I figured "If I'm going to have them in there anyways, I should have a surgeon fix my diastasis recti and weak abdominal wall which led to this in the first place and take off all this extra skin!"After meeting with Dr Kosins, I was impressed by his honesty and refusal to do a breast reduction at the same time as my tummy tuck and hernia repair because he explained that each additional procedure would increase the risks for complications exponentially, and he wanted to keep his complication rate almost non-existent. They didn't know the extent of my hernia and didn't want to get into 7-9 hrs of surgery. I feel like any other surgeon would have said "yes" to more $$ and he said NO. He also coincidentally turned out to be the surgeon who did one of my best friends nose (which I didn't know when I booked him).His office referred me to a hernia surgeon and they coordinated to have 2 different doctors working together on me! As the morning of surgery came, I was pretty nervous and he and his nurse Judy always put me at ease. In fact, I've had to call/text Judy on 3 different occasions on weekends and she's never hesitated to get back to me within an hour and even called in to get an RX filled at my pharmacy so I could sleep.The recovery is no joke, but just by following their clear instructions, I've had an amazingly smooth recovery and I'm about 70% healed now at 4 weeks. I had medium expectations about my outcome as I knew the recovery could get ugly and the scar might be also, but honestly it's all gone WAY better than I expected. My new belly button is so cute and my stomach is nice and flat like before kids! Most importantly, I no longer have a painful hernia that sticks out like a nose above my belly button! My scar is even extremely thin and smooth so far.Any time I've had a question they've always gotten me right in to be seen or taken my calls. I wanted a doctor with great follow up who wouldn't make me feel like a burden and I got it. I'm almost 2 weeks post op and I already love my results so much! The scar is barely noticeable. So excited to see how it's gonna look when the rest of the swelling goes down. Everyone's recovery experience is different. I was surprised at how smooth mine went. I had no pain whatsoever and I was eating burritos just a few hours out of surgery. I also did not have a sore throat at all; drinking half of my body weight in water every day might've helped with that. The only pain I experienced was getting the splints out on the 6th day. I was so emotional going in to get my cast removed to see my nose for the first time. Nurse Judy held my hand as Dr. Kosins took the splints and stitches out. I cried tears of joy during the whole appointment; especially when I saw my nose for the first time without the cast; and I'm not usually a crier! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I understand that there is still swelling but even so, I am so happy with the results already and can't wait to see what it looks like at 3, 6, 12 months post op! Nurse Judy is simply amazing. She really helped me so much throughout the recovery stage and welcomed any question that I had. Dr. Kosins called the night of my surgery to see how I was doing; which I thought was really great of him to do.Overall I was so impressed not only by the results, but also by the great bedside manner. When I went to my consultation for a breast augmentation, I knew that I wanted Dr. Kosins as my surgeon. I am six weeks post surgery and I couldn't be happier with my results. I showed him a picture of breast I liked and my breast are identical to what I wanted. His staff walked me through every step and made the process a breeze. The first 9 or 10 days were a little uncomfortable but I was able to care for my 2 little boys (2 and 3 years old). I had my nose job with Dr. Kosins a little over a month ago, and i could not be happier with the results!! He has the best reviews on yelp for a reason. The whole process was so smooth and worth it. He gave me the nose i always wanted and listened to everything i asked for. It is on the expensive end but it's because he knows what he is doing. It is worth the peace of mind. Happy 3 month nose anniversary to me! :) I have never been able to fully breathe out of my nose and being an athlete I sometimes found it difficult to exercise. Also, I didn't like the big hump on my bridge, but I never thought about it too much to want to change it. Then one morning I decided I wanted to get a rhinoplasty! So I searched on Google for surgeons in my area and Dr. Kosins was the first surgeon that came up. I did look up 2 other surgeons for a brief moment and although their noses were good I thought Dr. Kosins had the best noses with the cutest pointed tips! I made a consultation for March 27, 2019. Heading into my consultation I knew he was the surgeon for me! I didn't want anyone else. His office is very upscale and beautiful. I didn't have to wait too long before I met him. He asked me 3 things I didn't like about my nose and I said, "Can't breathe, the hump, and would like it smaller and cuter." He said I had a hard nose with a bad breathing issue, but he could fix it! On March 29, 2019 I called and wanted to set my surgery date for July 5, 2019. Risa put my surgery date on hold and said Dr. Kosins asked for me to come back.On April 03, 2019 I met with him again and everything was all good! He re-evaluated my nose and told me that I have nasal obstruction and a narrow bridge. He would perform a rhinoplasty to get rid of my hump, a septoplasty to correct my slightly curved septum, harvest cartilage from my tip to widen my nostrils and nasal bridge, and a turbinoplasty to clear out turbinates. I set the surgery for July 5, 2019 and made sure to ask him if he would be okay performing surgery the day after the 4th of July. He chuckled, paused, and said that it was a great question and that he would be fine. Haha. :) My 3 hour surgery was July 5, 2019 at 7:30am. I arrived at 6:30am to sign paperwork. The Newport Beach Surgery Center was fantastic. The staff was nice and the facility was very clean! After changing, I was put in the surgery bed and I started sweating out of nervousness. The anesthesiologist came over first to give me the rundown. He was cool and I thought he looked like the character, Cameron, from the show Modern Family. He asked if I had any questions and since there was a recent big earthquake the day before I asked him what he would do if there was a quake during my surgery. He said it was a great question that no one has asked him before and that he would just wake me up. Lol. Luckily no quakes happened during my surgery. Dr. Kosins came over to mark up my nose and asked me some questions. I was so nervous about going under anesthesia that I barely said anything to him. (Haha and that probably wasn't very reassuring to him). Then he left. The anesthesiologist and nurse started to wheel me away. I had tears in my eyes and told the anesthesiologist I was going to cry. They wheeled me faster, put me on the OR table, and the last thing I asked the anesthesiologist was if my hair bun was okay (since he was sitting behind me). Him and the nurse laughed and said "It's all good, but thanks for asking!" Then I woke up in the recovery room and could breathe 100%! Dr. Kosins called me later that evening to ask how I was doing which was really nice. :)Dr. Kosins did a great job and was always very professional and informative. All the information given to me was accurate on how things were going to go and there were no misunderstandings. Everything was executed according to plan. Any questions or concerns I had I either texted or emailed him and he always responded very promptly. I appreciated that! I love my result! My nose is beautiful. Look no further!!! Getting my nose fixed by Dr. Kosins was 100% the best decision of my life. Not only is he the most talented and dedicated plastic surgeon out there, his staff is just as wonderful and kind as he is. Prior to the surgery I hated my profile and how wide my nose looked (in photos especially) since I was little. Now I am so confident in how I look and even eager to take pictures of myself!! Surgery was a breeze, and Judy, Dr. Kosins' AWESOME nurse, was there for me for the entire recovery process. There's is only a couple days of being uncomfortable, but it's worth the confidence that will last a lifetime. Let me start off this review by saying that I haven't had someone wax my eyebrows since I was 17 because someone over-plucked it once and I never trusted anyone near my face again. So, for me, to actually trust someone to reconstruct my nose is a true testament to how talented I believe Dr. Kosins is. I've probably wanted rhinoplasty for over 10 years now but could never find a doctor I trusted. I never even went to any consultations because the pictures I'd see online looked like cookie-cutter noses and I just could not go through with it. I discovered Dr. Kosins' Instagram in September of last year and religiously stalked every rhinoplasty story and post he made for a few months. (Don't judge me. I do my research). Every nose he posted seemed to match each patient's face perfectly so I decided to go through with it and book a consultation. At the consultation, Dr. Kosins showed me a billion pictures of noses he had done for people who had similar head shape/facial features as me. That helped a lot because it showed me a few things (1) he has an insane amount of experience with all sorts of faces, ethnicities, noses etc.; (2) he was paying attention to what I looked like and what would match me instead of trying to just make a tiny nose that didn't look like it belonged on my face. I booked the surgery at the consultation. (Do this because he is booked out for months!!)Then I had an appointment with him a week or so before the surgery where he takes your picture, talks a little more about what you want, and what he can do for you. Then Judy discusses the procedure a little further with you. She is awesome and super nice. I was leaving town the following day so I wouldn't have time to go get blood-work done that week so she let me run across the parking lot to a lab where I quickly got my blood drawn (FYI it's only 22 bucks at that lab, and will probably save you a lot of hassle and time). She waited for me to come back and continued to talk to me about the whole process way after the office closed. On the day of the surgery, I was so calm, you'd think I was going to a spa and not into surgery. And that's honestly because I truly trusted Dr. Kosins. I don't know what it was but I really believed he was going to give me the nose I should have been born with (and he did!!). Side note about the surgery center - it's really clean and nice, and the staff are all so friendly.Anyway, after the surgery, I felt totally fine. I had no pain and because of the technique Dr. Kosins uses, I had no bruising in the days to follow. I know so many people who have gotten rhinoplasty and they were all shocked to see that I was not bruised. Had some swelling for the first few days but that went down within a week. Dr. Kosins called my family after the surgery was over to tell them it went well. And then he even called again that evening to ensure we got home okay and see how I felt. Also, Judy will call you after the surgery. It may be from an 818 number. Do NOT assume it's spam like I did and ignore the calls. (Sorry Judy!!) But she's great and will call you a bunch to make sure you're okay.Surgery results - I am shook. He did such an amazing job. The craziest part is that my nose looks so different but I still look like me. I have hung out with people who didn't know I was going to get a nose job and no one even noticed. I literally had to be like, "Hellooo you see my nose job or what?!?" And I swear my nose is so different - I think he did some sort of witchcraft to be able to get me a nose that looks so different yet people can't place their fingers on what changed. I could not be happier with the results of my rhinoplasty/ endoscopic brow lift! Dr. Kosins does amazing work! I originally was just focused on fixing the bump on my nose but after talking with Dr. Kosins about the whole aesthetic of my nose, it became clear that doing the endoscopic brow lift would enhance the whole outcome by making my brow/top of my nose area less heavy. The brow lift also really opened up my eyes which I love! Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful, especially nurse Judy, and I'm so grateful for everyone's guidance throughout the process. Also, it was very easy to communicate with the office staff with any questions I had before and after surgery. Everything went really smoothly post-operatively. I was never in any major pain, barely any pain at all really. The swelling went down by about day 6 and most of the bruising is gone now at about 2 weeks after surgery! After my daughter graduated from high school, she had one more item on her checklist before she left for college in the Fall. She wanted to have plastic surgery on her nose. She wanted her nose to match her other stunning facial features. We made appointments with three of the top rhinoplasty plastic surgeons in Newport Beach. Researching each one before even meeting them and looking at the before and after pictures of each surgeon, it had become glaringly clear, Dr. Kosins was the best choice. Nonetheless, we interviewed all three, in order to be certain. Meeting Dr. Kosins and listening to him explain what he would be doing to our daughter's nose made us realize that not only was he our top choice, but that he was in fact an artist, a perfectionist, a renowned rhinoplasty surgeon that not only perfected the procedure, but a man who was celebrated as a rhinoplasty surgeon, and respected and revered as such worldwide. We had a confirmed appointment that day for our daughter's procedure. Not only did Dr. Kosins do exactly what he promised, but he exceeded our expectations a million times over. Our daughter's results are phenomenal! The lack of swelling and bruising is unseen with this type of procedure, but it is possible with Dr. Kosin' and his renowned techniques. I always was hesitant about getting my nose done for reasons I'm sure many of you can relate to, but Dr. Kosins was the only doctor I found that led me to finally make that decision to. I emailed the office and they called me within a few days to talk about what I was interested in. The staff was very nice and recommended that I have a consultation in person rather than skype (I live about 3 hours away). So I made my consultation appointment which was about a few months later. The staff was very professional and friendly, Dr.kosins was very knowledgeable and talked about his experience, which made me feel more confident in my decision. He asked me 3 things I didn't like about my nose and he agreed with the things I pointed out. He then showed me pictures of past cases, and ofc I've seen most of them bc I looked at every single picture on his yelp and insta lol, but it was helpful to see which noses he found similar to mine. He was very open to any questions I had, took his time, and was overall very polite and professional. Afterwards I went to another room to talk about finance and appointments. I knew he was going to be my doctor so i made the appointment right then and there. The lady that helped me (Risa i think) was also very friendly and easy-going and helped get me in at a good time before school started which was about 4 months later. On the day of surgery Dr. Kosins came in and did mark ups on my nose and showed me a drawing of what I can expect. The whole surgery staff was nice and I felt very safe in their hands. I felt no pain during recovery, but rather uncomfortableness. I was also surprised to see that I had very little bruising! UPDATE 8/31/19So 4 months ago I wrote a review after my consultation/pre-op and promised to give an update post-op... and so here it is! Everyone exceeded my already very high expectations of Dr Kosins and his entire team, as well as the surgery center/anesthesiologist/RN. Everyone ensured I felt at ease, were so considerate and detail-oriented, and I really couldn't imagine myself having done my septorhino anywhere else. And the first thing I noticed as soon as I woke up from the surgery was how well I could breathe!! It's so surreal how noticeable the difference is, I can't believe how much I've been missing out for so long. Dr Kosins really does fix your nose from the inside out!Judy is of course an absolute angel! She will be your best cheerleader and mentor throughout the recovery process, and she consistently genuinely shows care in her patients and wants us all to be healthy and happy! I am so blessed to have met her/have her as my go-to for both the pre and post-op journey!! Risa was also very accommodating and professional and always there for any questions regarding your scheduling and payment, you can trust that she will try her best to make everything run smoothly for you! As for the aesthetic results, I so far LOVE it. Being Asian, it really is pivotal to feel certain your surgeon knows how to work with ethnic noses, and I think Dr Kosins did the best job possible for my face, something I need to tell my Korean-American community since most would fly all the way to Korea for any major surgery (whether medical or cosmetic!), when Dr Kosins does a wonderful job right here in California for a reasonable price (considering it's both medical and cosmetic). I really want to thank everyone for the unforgettable experience. Dr Kosins even called the night of the surgery to make sure I was safe and feeling okay, as well as the surgery center (and of course Judy!). Everything ran smoothly, and I feel safe and confident that the results will continue to improve considering it's Dr Kosins and his team's magic at work! Last note: I see/feel very minimal swelling/bruising,(I would check out Dr Kosins' Piezoelectric instrumentation in septorhinopasty/rhinoplasty), and the only slight pain/tenderness I feel is from my rib (most might not need a rib cartilage for their procedure like I did). I was still able to walk around and spend a nice day with my mom two days after the surgery, although I'm sure everyone will have a unique experience and should consult with Judy about what's recommended and what's not fresh out of surgery! Dr. Aaron Kosins is an amazingly skilled, talented, and caring plastic surgeon!  Dr. Kosins performed my revision septo-rhinoplasty 5 weeks ago, and I am beyond thrilled with the results!  I had 2 very bad rhinoplasties 20 plus years ago with a different surgeon who took way too much cartilage and tissue from my nose, leaving my nose asymmetrical, with one side concave, one side convex, the tip looking very unnaturally pinched, and making it very difficult for me to breathe through my nose.  I was very self conscious about my nose and had been wanting to have my nose fixed for 20 years, but was so afraid of having another bad experience.  I had been researching plastic surgeons for over 10 years, and after seeing Dr. Kosins' consistently beautiful work, I finally decided to have my revision rhinoplasty.  During my consultation, Dr. Kosins listened intently to everything that bothered me about my nose.  He was very honest about what I could expect from a revision rhinoplasty and he explained to me that because I had 2 previous surgeries that had damaged and scarred my nose, he wouldn't be able to know exactly what he was dealing with until he actually saw inside my nose during the surgery.  On the day of my surgery, I felt completely at peace because I knew that I was in Dr. Kosins' extremely competent, talented hands.  As it turned out, my nose was very damaged inside, but Dr. Kosins did his magic and made my nose look beautiful, symmetrical, and very natural...better than I ever thought was possible!  And, I can finally breathe through my nose!  My entire experience with Dr. Kosins and his office, from beginning to end, was a pleasure.  His office is extremely organized and clean, and his staff is kind, knowledgeable, and efficient.  His assistant, Judy, was there every step of the way to explain the surgery process to me and to help with my before and after care.  Dr. Kosins answered all of my emails promptly and even sent me a video of my beautiful nose after the surgery!  If you are considering a rhinoplasty or revision rhinoplasty, I highly recommend that you consult with Dr. Kosins.  Rhinoplasty is the most difficult, complicated plastic surgery, and as I found out 20 years ago, most plastic surgeons are not experienced or talented enough to have consistently excellent results like Dr. Kosins does.  Save yourself the heartache that I went through and go to the best of the best, Dr. Kosins!  I am SO grateful that I found Dr. Kosins! YESSSSS DR. KOSINSSSSS If you have any hesitation about getting your nose fixed, let me tell you, just don't. Dr. Kosins is nothing short of a magician. There is a reason behind the innumerable 5 star reviews. I went in with a bump in my bridge and a drooping tip. I am now 7 days out from surgery, my bruises have mostly disipated and I never once had any pain from my nose. Any pain I experienced was due to the process of surgery itself ie,. The tube they insert down your throat during anesthesia. Absolutely zero pain from the rhinoplasty. Judy has literally called me about every single day since the surgery to check on me and she is the biggest sweetheart in the world. She reassured me the entire way along. I returned yesterday to get my splints and cast off, (which was the most uncomfortable part of the entire procedure.)MY. NOSE. IS. SO. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! He far exceeded even my highest expectations. Let me start off by saying that the only thing I regret is not doing it sooner. I have always had a huge insecurity about my nose so I knew that a nose job was in my future lol. Nose surgery techniques scared me the most because they're so primitive. When I talked to Dr. Kosins he informed me about his technique and assured me that it would be little down time, which is crucial to me because I'm a premed student. The appointment didn't feel rushed, he was genuine about EVERYTHING we discussed and planned. I felt comfortable asking him every and any question I had. His vibe was tuned into my frequency which made me feel welcomed and appreciated. When I went it for my Pre-OP Dr. Kosins and I went over everything which calmed my nerves. I was so excited and realized, "wow, I'm really going through with this". Then in set in after he walked out the room. I met Judy and she noticed something was wrong. Unfortunately I didn't have the support nor approval I wanted from my loved ones which is very important to me. We had a LONG conversation and she made me forget about all my doubts and reminded me of why I chose to do it. I walked out of that office with confidence that I didn't even know was in me. The day of the surgery couldn't have gone any smoother. I was a bit nervous but the staff was very kind and tactful. I spoke with Dr. Kosins, we reviewed the plan and into surgery I went. After surgery I was able to contact Judy with any questions I had and she was very prompt with her responses which is a HUGE help. When I went into the post-OP appt. they took off my cast and I was able to see my nose and ofcourse, I cried. My nose is so beautiful! I couldn't contain my self. Dr. Kosins is the best!!! People come from around the world to see him...he's that good! The work he does is immaculate! He is soooo knowledgeable when it comes to rhinoplasty surgery. The second he walked in the door he was very welcoming and very honest about what he plans to do and the process of the entire surgery and afterward.  He listened to what I wanted and then did exactly that and explained exactly how he would do it. Everyone in the office is a joy to work with. Risa is fabulous and explains all the payment options to make it easy for you. Judy is the absolute best when it comes to prepping you for what's to come after the surgery and even calls you the next day (as does Dr. Kosins) to check in. The cast only stays on for a week and then he takes it off with ease. Although my nose was swollen when the cast came off (as he explained it would be) I already loved the work he had done. Dr. Kosins is AMAZING!  I am 47 years old (gulp!) and I have waited and stressed about getting rhinoplasty since I was in high school. I was just too nervous then when I turned 47, I was like...it's now or never.  So, I did it!  I did my research and went to see two different doctors.  I'm sure that they would've done a good enough job, but then I went to see Dr. Kosins.  Oh my gosh! That was a total game changer!  He listened to me regarding what I wanted and then performed a very thorough exam on my nose.  He takes his job seriously and is a true artist!  He also suggested a brow lift to make my nose look even better and to take a few years off of my face.  Needless to say, I went with him!  During my pre-op, we went over what he would be doing then Judy, his nurse, came in to go over specifics regarding what I needed to be doing or not doing prior to surgery as well as the after-care.  She even gave me her phone number so I could call or text if I had any problems or questions.  Dr. Kosins and Judy made me feel so comfortable!!!  Then came surgery day.  It was about a five hour surgery! I'm not going to lie....the first week of recovery was brutal, but both Dr. Kosins and Judy prepared me for it.  Dr. Kosins called me personally on the day of surgery to check on me....I've never had this happen!  Then, Judy called me every day during recovery until I came in to get my cast off to make sure I was doing ok, which was sooo awesome!!! I had a couple questions during my first week of recovery and texted Judy and she replied very promptly.  Then, I bumped my nose on a door a couple days after my cast came off and I totally freaked out.  I texted both Dr. Kosins and Judy and they both got back to me within a very short period of time.  I was amazed and so happy that they both made me feel ok about my little mishap.  But, getting to the best part.....I LOVE MY NOSE!!!  I'm only two weeks after surgery and I'm already sooooo happy!!!  I have always disliked (ok, HATED) my profile and now I absolutely LOVE it!!! Dr. Aaron Kosins:Dr. Kosins is an amazing doctor! He is one of the only doctors in the U.S that doesn't break the nose when he performs rhinoplasty (I think there is only one other doc who does this). He is detail oriented, and really listened to what I wanted. I still have a ways to go to fully heal, but after 6 weeks I already love my results, and they should only get better (I'm still very minimally swollen). I live over an hour from his surgery center & he personally called my mom to see if the drive went okay, which was very sweet. He sent my mom a video of a before and after in the OR, and it was amazing, and thoughtful! He is a pioneer in rhinoplasty technology and an editor for the rhinoplasty section of the "Aesthetic Surgery Journal". He used this tool "Piezoelectric Instrumentation" for the procedure. It kinda looked like a little metal rake/ spork that carves bone (I am not a medical professional, that's my best description). This tool allows for more precise results, and smoother healing. I had a very smooth healing process. Minimal swelling, little to no pain.His team:The OR nurses were absolutely amazing!! Pre & post op, and of course my OR nurse Jamie was amazing! Professional, kind, and clean. Theresa works directly in Dr. Kosins office & is so sweet. She really knows her stuff as far as pre & post op care, and has tons of tips & tricks. I don't even know where to start off! Dr. Kosins is the best surgeon ever! I had my consultation with him I just knew he was the right surgeon for me and I booked my surgery right away. I didn't even have to tell him what I wanted he just knew what was right for me. I love the staff every single one of them are so kind and generous it's only been 3 months since my surgery and I already see the results big time! For starters I'd like to say that all of us who have had work done by Dr. Kosins all wish we could give him more than 5 stars! !!! Not because he's a young, handsome man who could actually rock the man bun lol but He definitely deserves more. I am so happy and thankful I found him on yelp he's literally boosted up a bunch of our confidence! I must say since I saw his yelp and Instagram pictures and reviews I wasn't going to settle for anyone else touching my face! He has magic hands that will change your life! But the fact that he doesn't have to break your nose to fix it is a super super plus! He did a rhinoplasty and inserted a small chin implant. Cosmetic surgery is a big deal at least for me it was I needed the best and I can say I went to the best he's worth every penny I'm so glad I chose him. I've had 1 prior cosmetic surgery breast augmentation and a lift about 4 years ago! I was so excited and was very open about it on social media I went to 2 consultations I went with my second option I didn't want to wait any longer because he was 1k cheaper and could afford him wow I had the money and he seemed nice I was sold!!! Biggest mistake I did results were terrible till this day I Am unhappy and feel bad for anyone else who throws their money away with him! Picking a surgeon who specializes on what you're getting done and Doing your research is so important so this time around with my face I wasn't going to go with the cheaper route it's not worth it! Back to dr Kosins he's an amazing dr who genuinely cares about his patients and for him it's important to know what you don't like about your nose so he can give you the best results that you'll be happy with! Growing up I never hated my nose or had a problem with it I was never made fun of for my nose but me being my biggest critique started hating it on my own! Both my mom and sister have very cute small noses with no dorsal hump and I was slightly jealous that mine didn't look like that! Then I started obsessing about how big my nose was when in reality I knew it wasn't a big deal but could definitely use improvement! I'm a very petite young woman and always get compliments about how great my body looks which is nice but afterwards it started bothering me how compliments were always about my body and nothing else! I was like wow butterface! Dr Kosins at the consultation at 1st couldn't get his 3 reasons from me of why I didn't like my nose and straight up told me if you can't tell me I won't operate on you and then that's when I got serious and stopped being difficult he even said it felt like a finesse because I didn't really need a nose job lol sorry again that's when I was able to tell him I didn't like that the top of my nose was too wide and also didn't like my roundish tip and of course the hump! After that little hiccup he showed me in a different room pictures of girls with noses similar to mine and their after pictures they were all great results of course! He spends a good amount of time with his patients and then sends you over to Risa the office manager to discuss pricing she's a sweetheart and very beautiful as well anyways I left my consultation knowing that he was the one (my nose surgeon) and I left so excited and looking forward to booking him! I just needed to confirm that I was going to be able to take at least 2 weeks off from work! I met with Dr. Kosins for a consultation for sept-rhinoplasty. I've had chronic breathing issues since I was 8, and I always thought it was due to being hit in the face with a metal tetherball where I bled for two months from my nose afterwards. Well Dr. Kosins inspected my nose and told me I had an enlarged turbinate which was obstructing my airway from my left nostril, and so now I know exactly why I can't breathe properly from one side (and I don't have to keep guessing why I'm the way I am!!). The best part was he told me he'd fix it, along with my other concerns about my bridge, etc. The consultation felt quick and efficient ("to-the-point"), and overall I thought of Dr. Kosins to be very reliable and professional, as he stated the statistics of revision rates, average procedures per week, etc, which were all stellar and facts I was going to ask him about prior, but he answered them succinctly before I could even ask! One little potential mishap I think was when he asked if I've had any previous fractures to my nose, I was telling him my background and someone unintentionally interrupted and we sort of dismissed my story altogether (he moved onto another question regarding what I didn't like about my nose), but I'm speculating it was because it was irrelevant in the end or he already got the gist of the most significant details/needed to move on due to time and so didn't need to hear the rest, so I'm not going to make it a major complaint or flag. I appreciate that he still took the time to understand exactly what I needed/wanted to fix about my nose, including showing me his work and even patiently looking through pictures I had with me. I trust him completely with my face, and that's extremely rare for me. 14 years of not trusting anyone else rare.I'd also like to thank Risa for being SO patient with me: I had to make a call to family before scheduling the surgery, and it must have been at least 15-30 minutes of waiting on her end, yet she maintained her professionalism and understanding throughout the ordeal. Such a sweet, fun, and genuine person!! And then there's Judy -- oh my goodness she is definitely also a vibrant sweetheart who literally called my Korean mother to help her feel safer with the surgery (since many traditional Korean parents feel comforted when there's another fellow Korean staff onboard who can translate and relate to them and whatnot!!). She's the reason why my mom felt more trusting of me going through with a turbino-septorhinoplasty, so thank you Judy!! Also looking forward to going through the entire journey together! I will update with a new review once I get my surgery done, all the way in August but it's a promise!! Hopefully it'll give others better insight into the whole process, and I personally love seeing detailed and transparent reviews so I'd like to do the same for others! I finally had the courage to get a rhinoplasty procedure and it was worth it! I had a consultation with Dr. Kosin's a couple months ago and he was extremely welcoming and well-spoken. I had already done my research on rhinoplasty but he took the time to listen to my concerns, as well as, provide feedback and knowledge of what the process entails. I knew I felt safe and I trusted Dr. Kosin's skills and expertise. I also want to acknowledge one of the staff members, Judy, she really held my hand through the process and explained pre- and post- op and how it will take a toll on you mentally. If there is someone that will lift your spirits after surgery, it's definitely Judy! The procedure itself was quick, however, the week to recover is a little uncomfortable yet tolerable. Initially when I got my cast off I was in shock because of how swollen and sharp my nosed looked but I was reassured that this is part of the process and the nose will eventually settle in. I hope whoever is reading this to keep in mind that the first couple months of recovery will be a hurdle and an adjustment because your nose is constantly changing but that you're in good hands and Dr. Kosin's is excellent! If I could give Dr. Kosins and his team 10 stars I would. Overall, such a fantastic experience and the results I have now, at 2 weeks out are already phenomenal. Atmosphere/Location: his office is located in a great area of Newport Beach. Parking is a breeze and his physical office space is extremely clean, modern, organized, and welcoming. The surgery center where he performs his surgeries is also clean, in a great part of Newport and works like a well oiled machine. My only qualm with the surgery center is to cross your fingers for an early AM surgery as the parking is irritating later in the morning/afternoon.Staff: Wow. Never have I experienced a staff that is as enthusiastic or helpful as this one. Seriously, from the minute of your consultation through all your follow ups they ensure you have a great experience and feel like you're personally being taken care of. I received call reminders for certain steps to be taken post-op every few days and also was answered immediately for any questions or concerns I had post-op as well. Immediately. I'm not talking half a day later... right. away. The guidance through every one of these steps has been so reassuring to me. Dr. Kosins: An artist and expert at his craft. I came in for a rhinoplasty and septoplasty with a multitude of issues related to those and definitely was not an easy case. Dr. Kosins made my nose PERFECT (as it can be). He fixed all the issues, straightened it out, and adjustment my plunging tip. He's meticulous and a perfectionist, and it shows in all of his work. He works tirelessly to ensure your nose is natural looking but just... better. And he knocks it out of the park with every nose I see on Instagram and mine as well.Cost: In line with other quotes I had previously gotten. I'm two weeks post-op and I have NEVER been so happy to wear my hair up in a ponytail in my life-- my profile almost gives me tears. From the front, I had standard swelling still at the bridge, but I'm thrilled with how it looks so far and am excited for whats to come through after the swelling. My septum is better than ever and even with some congestion, I can still breathe better than I ever have been able to. YESSSSS DR. KOSINSSSSS If you have any hesitation about getting your nose fixed, let me tell you, just don't. Dr. Kosins is nothing short of a magician. There is a reason behind the innumerable 5 star reviews. I went in with a bump in my bridge and a drooping tip. I am now 7 days out from surgery, my bruises have mostly disipated and I never once had any pain from my nose. Any pain I experienced was due to the process of surgery itself ie,. The tube they insert down your throat during anesthesia. Absolutely zero pain from the rhinoplasty. Judy has literally called me about every single day since the surgery to check on me and she is the biggest sweetheart in the world. She reassured me the entire way along. I returned yesterday to get my splints and cast off, (which was the most uncomfortable part of the entire procedure.)MY. NOSE. IS. SO. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! He far exceeded even my highest expectations. I never expected to have such a small, cute nose. I never thought that was something I could have but here I am with a new beautiful nose and an improved face overall because of it with Dr. Kosins to thank. Dr. Kosins is truly incredible. I am 1-month post-op from my rhinoplasty and I could not be happier with the result. I had always been really self conscious about my nose, I felt like it was too big for my face. It took me years to finally work up the nerve to actually make a change, but when I was finally ready I was lucky enough to have found Dr. Kosins.I was nervous coming into my first consultation but he made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Kosins is very kind and patient. He understood exactly what I wanted. He took the time to answer all of my questions, thoroughly explaining the procedure and the benefits of piezosurgery. After leaving the consultation there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted him to be my surgeon. Dr. Kosins is the absolute best of the best.  From the moment I went to see him I was absolutely sure he would be my surgeon!  He was very to the point and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process.  I have wanted to have my nose done for 10+ years and heard about Dr. Kosins through not one but TWO friends who absolutely sang his praises - I now see why.  I was terrified the week before my surgery and him and his staff made sure all of my worries were put to rest.  The day of the surgery we started right on time and it was over before I knew it.  When I woke up, I had very little pain - I stayed awake the whole day and watched movies actually.  The next day I was really drowsy, and day 3 was probably the most uncomfortable (painful wouldn't be the word I would use, i honestly experienced VERY little pain).  I had no bruising, EVER.  The day he took out my splints was THE BEST because it's so relieving and I could see the difference right away even through all the swelling.  I am at a month out and have no pain, minimal swelling, no bruising - and the best part is I STILL LOOK LIKE MYSELF.  He genuinely did just makeMe a better version of what I already was.  I cannot thank Dr. Kosins and his staff enough, they are absolutely wonderful.  I can't even put into words how grateful I am to him.  I would recommend him to anyone.  Thank you so much!!!! First off, I always thought about getting breast implants... like for years. I had a baby and my whole world changed along with my breasts. I knew it was time. I met with another surgeon prior to meeting with Dr. Kosins and it was a true night and day experience in the best way. The first surgeon looked me up and down, spouted out a bunch of things to his assistant and that was that. Dr. Kosins ASKED me what I was looking for and listened to me... he explained to me what it was that I actually liked based on pictures I showed him. He is personable yet professional and he will tell you straight up what's realistic, what will work what outcome he can give you... no BS. The staff is AMAZING. I personally worked with Dani and loved her. She really made it for me, made me feel so comfortable and that this would be a breeze. I will never forget when we were going thru my pre-op paperwork she said to me that the money would be the most painful part and she was so right. I didnt really believe that then, but she was spot on. I came out of surgery a little nauseas... that's it but I have a generally sensitive stomach so I expected that. I was out and about shopping and with a 1 year old the same night after surgery. I only took pain meds for 2 days and I would NOT consider myself to have a high pain tolerance. Dr. Kosins plan post surgery WORKS if you stick to it you are good to go! I was amazed at how little pain I had... the more I moved around and lived life normally, the better I felt. It really works. In recent years, I became extremely self conscious about my nose. I avoided having my photo taken, and spent a lot of time using makeup to contour my nose to make it look more narrow. I researched plastic surgeons for years, but it was not until I came across Dr. Kosins' work that I seriously considered rhinoplasty. He is a master in his field, and his work is consistently flawless. Unlike most plastic surgeons, he specializes in rhinoplasty, and uses a technique called piezosurgery that does not break your bones. He is basically the Michael Jordan of nose jobs. At my initial consultation, I knew I had made the right decision. Dr. Kosins is refreshingly down to earth. He asked me to tell him three things I didn't like about my nose. I could only think of two-the width of my bridge, and the overall size. He explained that my bridge was actually quite concave, which creates the illusion of volume, and that I had an asymmetrical tip. He showed me several before/after photos of surgeries he has done on patients with similar noses to mine, and I was sold. All of the patients looked like better versions of themselves. I put down the required $1000 deposit that day, and picked my surgery date. The next appointment was two weeks before surgery. Nurse Dani met with my boyfriend and I, and explained in detail all pre-op and post-op instructions, medications, etc. She is super friendly and really put us both at ease about the process. Dani was also very supportive throughout my recovery, checking in on me daily, and responding to any questions I had almost instantly-she is seriously awesome! We then met with Dr. Kosins again and took before photos. Two weeks later, I arrived at the surgery center at 6am. The nurses got me dressed and situated in a comfy heated bed, and my boyfriend got to hangout with me while they put the IV into my arm. I had one last chat with Dr. Kosins, and then the nice anesthesiologist Dr. Nguyen started the meds. I said goodbye to my boyfriend and was wheeled into a room with my before photos posted on the wall. The next thing I knew, I was saying "Are you guys going to start soon?" and everyone was like "haha we are already done!" My man took care of me like an actual princess for the entire recovery, but honestly, the pain was minimal. I felt heavy throbbing/pressure on the first 2 days post op, but after that, I did not need any pain meds. Certain aspects were definitely uncomfortable. You cannot sleep laying flat, exercise, or taste food (your nose is blocked) while the cast is on, all of which were challenging for me. However, a week of discomfort is a small price to pay for a lifetime of happiness. My down time was exactly 10 days before going back to work. 7 days with the cast on, and 3 more with tape on my nose all day. After that, I only needed to tape my nose at night (to minimize swelling). The total cost of my nose job was just over $10,000. Dr. Kosins' fee is $7000, the anesthesiologist was $800, and the surgery center fees were around $2300. I am now only 2 weeks post op, and already thrilled with the result. I loved my nose immediately after the cast removal, but at this point, the nose is still very swollen. You will not see the final result of your surgery for about 1 year, so I cannot wait to see it look better and better as time passes.
