DR. PHYSIO REVIEW
During the Thanksgiving holiday time I experienced a stroke. After several days in a neuroICU and in-patient intensive Rehab I decided to remove myself from an unrestful hospital setting and begin out-patient PT, OT and speech therapies at Dr. Physio clinic.
Being recommended by medical providers, I soon realized I was in a setting with a skillful group of therapists who would be dedicated to my recovery. You are immediately greeted by a well-informed receptionist/scheduler who knows the name and status of each patient.
Each session begins with a check-in chat and blood pressure. Detailed notes are kept of my medical records, emotional, and physical well-being, along with my goals for what I would like to best achieve during my recovery. This is allowed to change at any time as you progress.
No matter which therapist you are training with, they have complete access to you records and what the best next steps would be. Sessions are often custom designed for your needs be they balance, strength or endurance. At times you may have a team of therapists working with you. There is always a sense of humor as you work hard toward your recovery. At home sessions are available, if that be your need.
The setting of the clinic is like an extended family cheering you on to your next level of achievement. Each comprehensive session is followed by another blood pressure, heart rate reading and/or oxygen check You also build a rapport with other patients which supports the family environment.
If and when your need occurs for critical therapeutic care, there is simply no better professional care than at Dr. Physio.

As a person who has gone thru physical therapy several times in the last two decades with different therapy companies, I must say that Lennison is one of the best I have encountered with home-therapy. His techniques are as effective as those used in weight-controlled machines. Various instruments with various strengths allowed him to give me little resistance in the beginning, then promoting me to the stronger ones as I continued the journey of healing. He recorded my strengths and weaknesses, listened to my concerns, and made adjustments accordingly. He is thorough, patient, and observant. I highly recommend Dr. Physio (Lenny) and his team for anyone needing home PT. This is my second time with Lenny, pre-op and now post-op. I think of him now more as a friend, as he is personal, and has a great sense of humor, in which I require with all my doctors and therapists. (I'm sorry for the long review... as I am a writer.)
