The decor is absolutely amazing. There are beautiful murals on the wall as you walk in. Between that and the lit candles and other accessories that are placed around it really sets them apart from all of the other places I’ve been. And then the food takes it to the next level. We got a mega strawberry margarita and it was huge and delicious. I got the chicken enchiladas and it was hands down the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. First time dining at Dos Rios tonight. The staff was friendly from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. All of our questions were answered, food arrived as ordered, the portions were gigantice and everything tasted awesome. At our table we had the chip, salsa, guac and queso and a chicken quesadilla for an appatizer, one app would have been plenty for 4 of us. for entrers we had fajitas (steak and shrimp), chicken burrito and habanero shrimp dinner. I’ve been to Dos Rios, many times before.. when I use to drink alcohol. I am now sober and went there last night. The experience was beyond wonderful. I was pleased with the fact that you have mocktails listed on your menu. I had a virgin pina colada & a sober mango which was absolutely delicious. 4/5 stars Had dinner there last night and I want to start off by saying our server Shauna was amazing. If you guys don't realize what an asset she is, take note because she is the reason you got bumped up from 3. 5 to 4 stars. Ordered the trifecta and the plantain boat. The guac and queso were delicious. The plantain boat was good. Tried the carnitas street style tacos, they were flavorful but the pork itself was dry even though it was covered in sauces. Also tried the chimurri steak dos rios tacos and the fresh ingredients were delicious and on point but the dry seasoning was a tad over bearing and took away from how amazing and subtle the fresh stuff was. Overall, the ambiance and staff were amazing, the food was only good for the value but not great. I would still recommend and try again. More...
