I cannot say enough amazing things about Dogtown and it’s owner Sam and staff. Teddy and Daisy had another sleepover at Dogtown while we had to go out of town unexpectedly. They were patient and willing enough to squeeze us in last minute and stayed there after normal drop off time since we were stuck in traffic. Everyone was extremely welcoming despite it being later in the evening and I was extremely grateful for their kindness. I was kept updated via text message and was sent pictures and videos the entire time. I enjoyed watching Dogtown's Instagram stories to catch a sneak of the pups as well. Teddy and Daisy came home well excercised and slept the weekend away. The staff at Dogtown love dogs and they love serving people. We are so happy and can’t wait for the pups to return. ❤️ More...

Hands down, the best part of my dog's day is when she gets to go to Dogtown. Huge indoor and outdoor space and always fully staffed to provide one-on-one attention. Sam and his crew go so much further than providing just a safe space for dogs to wander and play, they introduce fun activities to help both alleviate some anxiety and create a more dynamic environment. The posts on Instagram are the highlights of my day - and the whole staff is super conscientious to provide some individual TLC to all the dogs. My pup comes home worn out and happy, and I have noticed her socialization skills are so much stronger with other dogs. I am a crazy helicopter dad as far as my dog, and trust Dogtown with my best companion. So glad I found them and grateful for the way they take care of my dog. More...

We left our very anxious pup with the wonderful people of Dogtown for the past five days. We are so appreciative of the love that they showed her and their regular correspondence with us. It wasn't long before our pup was wagging her tail and playing with the other dogs. This was, by far, the best boarding/care experience Truffle has had when we have gone out of town. I have a pup with incredible separation anxiety, so anytime I know I’m heading somewhere for the day or overnight, I take him to Dogtown. McGregor has tried other daycare places and is terrified every time I left him. This wasn’t the case at Dogtown- he’s running into the building, excited to see Sam and his staff. The last time he went through the gate and didn’t even look back for me! He’s been for daycare as well as a few overnights/weekends. I trust Sam completely with my fur baby. More...

I'm in Norfolk for a overseas transition in the military and I had my dog at a pet friendly Sheraton. While the hotel was very accommodating my dog had a lot of anxiety from moving and was barking all day while I was at work. In order to be considerate to other guests, I wanted a doggy day care facility so she would feel at ease. The owner Sam was able to take my baby in last minute and verify all her shots by calling my vet. They were all awesome there and a lifesaver for my transient, pre-military move in Norfolk. I take my 1 1/2 year old border collie to daycare 3-4 days weekly and we just recently made the switch to come to Dogtown and both Emma and I LOVE it! We love Dogtown, we love Sam and we love everyone else that works there. It's SO super clean--so many doggie daycare places smell like dog and Dogtown absolutely does not. Sam is always super responsive and easy to communicate with and I know he's always got our dogs best interest at heart. They're always updating social media with pictures and instagram stories so I can follow along with what Emma is doing throughout the day which has been an extra special add! We LOVE Dogtown! The facility is super clean, Sam and his staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and most of all my dog has a blast when she is there. Somehow they manage to tire out my high-energy Golden Retriever, which is truly an accomplishment in itself. This place is great. I didn't think that it was possible to wear out my lovable, but high energy dog, but tonight, after her first visit to dog town she is tired, mentally calm and happy. Facility is huge, modern, super clean and looks comfortable enough that I'd stay the night. Sam, the owner, seems to truly like dogs and the two other folks on staff I interacted with were equally as awesome and kind. Dropped my dog off for the first time this week and I loved Dogtown! Everyone is very friendly and professional. Their pricing is reasonable, and they have a large indoor and outdoor space for lots of dogs. Everything is very clean! They even sent me pictures and videos and updates throughout the day.
