Views are awesome, food is very good.  A bit on the pricey side but we have never had a bad meal.  Seating is limited and it does get very crowded in the peak season.

One of the best places to eat in OC! I would highly recommend the lobster roll, it's one of the best on the menu.

One of the few waterfront dining options around. Great staff and service.  We went for breakfast and being on the water always makes for a better experience. The eggs and sausage were great (hard to mess that up) but I have to say the potatoes were a tad undercooked and lacking in flavor, but the side of fried onions and peppers helped big time. I did find it odd that you only get 1 piece of toast, don't recall ever seeing that in any breakfast in my 50+ years More...

Perfect place for a relaxing lunch/ brunch.  The lobster roll is fantastic as well as the fish tacos. Fresh and flavorful, you will not be disappointed.

Great option on the bay side of Ocean City for brunch. Conveniently, they have breakfast and lunch until 3pm and are still open after Labor Day. My girlfriend ordered the spinach and tomato omelette with shrimp, and I had the Dockside platter with over easy eggs and Taylor pork roll. More...

Visited Dockside for breakfast 8/17. We all had excellent food and a great view also. Slightly warm that morning but Ok. Very good coffee, coffee shop quality. Blueberry Pancakes, and fruit were fantastic. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly cooked. Daughter had the avocado toast, which she loved, lots of avocado and interesting bacon. Although it was warm with a wait line, the staff was very professional, great service. We visited last year also, and had same great food and service. More...

Extremely good food. The atmosphere is great and it's such a beautiful place to enjoy a meal in the morning! Service was excellent and the server even reminded me that they have a deal for a free drink when you check in on yelp!

This is a wonderful breakfast, lunch or brunch. Service is wonderful and there is usually plenty of parking (public lot down the street). The servers we have had are fantastic and attentive. All of the food is delicious. Lobster roll is enough for two meals! We highly recommend this restaurant in Ocean City. More...

They now serve dinner! It was only breakfast and lunch before. We made dinner reservations ahead of time. Service and food was amazing. Wait time for food was probably the fastest time ever. If you come down to OC, this place is a must! I got the grilled shrimp roll. More...

My family and I have been going to OCNJ for over 10 years and are always looking for new restaurants to try. SO glad to have found this one and will definitely be going back! LOVED the beautiful view right along the water. I had delicious pancakes, my sister had the lobster roll eggs benedict and my mom had french toast. All super tasty! Looking forward to going back next year with more family members. Hoping to maybe try it for dinner! More...

View is great, food was good.. a little pricey but we did order the lobster Benedict so to be expected. I realize after having it tho, I still prefer crab Benedict (personal preference). The French toast was SO good, and so was fresh squeezed orange juice. It's great you can add your name to a wait list before you get there. More...

Had the Shrimp Roll and a Crab Cake sandwich with a side salad accompanied by primo homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette. The food was prepared with care using quality fresh ingredients. The crab cake component of the sandwich was an excellent meaty crab cake with a side of tarter sauce prepared with Old Bay seasoning. The waitress was so kind and patient as we were with a rambunctious toddler. I will be back!  Beautiful view too!! More...

Excellent all around! The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all class A. The menu is a bit costly compared to other breakfast joints in OC but I believe the quality is a bit higher so I am okay with it. If your a cheap ass- go elsewhere. I will definitely return when I am back in OC. More...

Unlike Stone Harbor / Avalon, where there are plenty of places on the bayside to eat, there are very few choices in OC for bayside eating.  Thank goodness we found Dockside Kitchen. It's a great breakfast/lunch place.  Rather than serving up the usual Shore breakfast fare (like Uncle Bill's and its ilk), the dishes at Dockside are really interesting.  The hash browns are actually diced potatoes, nicely browned with rosemary.  The sausage omelet has a really interesting sausage (I think it's andouille) rather than the usual boring breakfast sausage.  French toast is yummy, with crispy edges.  Coffee is pretty good - not the usual swill they serve at breakfast places.  The view, breeze, and size are just right, and the servers are very nice and prompt.  A perfect beginning to a day at the Shore! I had been eyeing this place up for quite awhile and it did not disappoint at all. I loved the out door seating with plenty of good people / boat watching, it is a great location. The menu is phenomenal. Everything sounds SO good that I was having trouble picking one thing! I ended up going with the lobster roll and it was amazing. It was over filled with lobster and the bread and sauce on it were very good. I seriously think I need to come here once a week to try everything on the menu. By the looks of other food coming out I don't think you could go wrong with any choice! More...

Stopped in for breakfast on this beautiful Sunday morning and had a great meal! Only had to wait about 10 minutes and we were sat right near the railing so we could see the bay, it has a great view of the bay and is so nice to see the boats and jet skis go by, all the summer fun is happening down near the dockside kitchen. I had the regular brioche French toast and it was delicious, comes with a lot of fruit on top so I was able to share that with my toddler. I also had a yummy glass of iced coffee, perfectly brewed. Breakfast was perfect, service was excellent and prompt, I will definitely be back!! More...

Decided to try something new with my family for breakfast and ended up at Dockside Kitchen. The seating area was probably my favorite part about the whole experience. All of the tables are opened up to the water and on a clear day you can't get a better view while enjoying breakfast.I ordered the smoked salmon breakfast sandwich which has the smoked salmon on a bagel with chive sour cream, bacon onion jam and it comes with home fries or french fries which can also be substituted for various other sides. I was really impressed, the sandwich was almost out of this world. The bacon onion jam and chive sour cream brought out the flavor of the smoked salmon so well and the home fries are flavored with rosemary to give them a really great piney taste. I also tried the mixed berries which included a mix of strawberries and blueberries topped with a slice of watermelon. The rest of my family really enjoyed their meals as well. The only complaint I have is how long it took the food to come out. Granted we had a decent sized party, but I felt like we were waiting an eternity before we got our meals since we were one of the only groups in the whole restaurant. This didn't bother us too much considering how good the food was. Overall I would say Dockside Kitchen gave us a great breakfast experience. The setting was beautiful and the food was even better. Try them out if you get the chance, you won't regret it! More...

This place is awesome on a trip out to the shore. The quality of seafood is amazing, and I highly recommend anything lobster. P.S. get the Mac and Cheese. The rosemary homefries are okay, and the fries are good too, but the mac is where it's at really. So creamy and that seasoning is amazing. We sat at the bar, and the view is lovely, not to mention with a good breeze. Service is great. All in all this is one of the best places to eat in Ocean City. More...

Really great service, nice little deck with a view of the bay and food that's a bit more photogenic than it is delicious. The menu is concise but well put together with instagram friendly options like avocado toast and all kinds of eggs benedict . Fresh squeezed OJ by the pitcher is an absolute must. Their standard side with breakfast items is rosemary home fries. Unfortunately the potatoes were pretty undercooked and went basically untouched on each of our plates. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, I'm just not a big complainer so next time I'll just ask for a different side. More...

Came here on a whim and definately wasnt disappointed.  Food was delicious, well seasoned, and the view was fabulous depite being a cloudy morning.  Sipping locally roasted coffee on the dock waiting for the food was definately a zen moment.  We got the lobster benedict and the spinach and tomato omelette.  The benedict was delicious and the bacon-onion jam was a nice surprise.  The toast that comes with the omellete would have been worth the price by itself (seriously wheres it from?).   The portions were also reasonable as well and we even had leftovers. If i had to give 1 piece of constructive criticism the hollandaise was a bit flat on flavor but other than that it was a great experience.Definately will be back with each OC trip More...

Dockside Kitchen is a great find in Ocean City. Dockside Kitchen is located by the bay  where you can eat on the deck by the docks. I decided to choose the avocado toast with coffee. The avocado was very soft, fresh and creamy. The toast was a thicker toast to hold the avocado on top of it. The serving size was large for breakfast so expect to bring some home. The views are stunning & you get to watch boats come in and out of the docks. The food, service and staff were great and I cannot wait to return to try something else on the menu. More...

Went with the family for brunch. Ordered the kids pancakes and grilled cheese. My husband and I got the lobster roll and lobster Benedict. All of it was simply wonderful and delicious. The coffee knocked my socks off- very rich, strong and flavorful. Definitely the best basic coffee in the OC. The prices are a little steep- but there was no skimping on any of it. I've never had that much lobster in any single dish! Simply and utterly my best food experience in Ocean City New Jersey. They were also open when the majority of stores are closed in the fall. Finally a nice new brunch place in Ocean City!! Went with a friend on a quiet weekday morning and had a literal perfect time. Entire staff was very friendly. The menu is small but loaded with good stuff. My classic Benedict and my friend's omelette were wonderful! Coffee was also great. Been looking forward to trying breakfast here all summer. Came Labor Day morning and it was only a 10-15 minute wait. I was not aware I could get in line via Yelp, though! Still, not a bad wait. We were initially seated at a small table and it was a tight fit for people to walk by so we moved to the counter overlooking the bay. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Lobster Benedict with home fries and the husband got a breakfast burrito. Everything was very good- the Lobster Benedict was expensive but had a good amount of lobster meat. Great location, quick service, good food. Not much waterfront dining in OC so it's definitely worth going. More...

Good food and a good view. We decided to give it a try and as expected it was good. Server was excellent and friendly. All the seating is outside which is nice and it's a nice view of the bay. We had the tacos and a turkey wrap for the boys. They thoroughly enjoyed it. One comment was it was so big. Ok. 13 year old boy said there may have been too much turkey. That's an odd one. Wife and I had eggs Benedict. The lobster was excellent and so was the short rib. One critique was the English muffin needs to be toasted longer and they both need a little more hollandaise in them. We didn't ask for more, but we feel they should have more. The rosemary on the fries and potatoes is a nice touch of flavor. We will return. Definitely a good value for good food. More...

This place was great for breakfast! Seated outside with a BEAUTIFUL dockside view. Waitress was super nice, and food was great. Seating outside was a little tight but everyone there was friendly so it wasn't bad. I would DEFINITELY recommend and will be back. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a BLT. I got home-fries as a side and OH MY GOODNESS they were perfectly crispy and had a touch of rosemary which made them so addicting. My boyfriend didn't even want his fries anymore he wanted my home-fries! Their mugs are adorable and they have them for sale. Great place for the family. First time in OC and my fiancé and i decided to stop here for lunch on our second day here. We both had the lobster roll and it was AMAZING. It was packed with lobster! Our waitress was a young local who was working during the summer before returning to college. The staff was exceptional and was on top of us the entire time. My only complaint is not about the restaurant or staff, but about another diner who was sitting next to us. She was AWFUL. So incredibly rude and entitled. She was so nasty to her waitress i felt horrible for the waitress! She gave the waitress less than a 10% tip, for no reason at all...so my fiancé and i gave the waitress who helped her the extra money to make sure she got a fair 20%. She didn't do anything wrong! That woman was just a nightmare and if i wasn't on vacation and trying to relax - i would have said something to that woman. Going to come back without a doubt! This is the first time we ate at the Dock Side Kitchen. All I can say is wow ! The view was a great to start our morning looking over the bay,  and the food was even better. We ordered the Lobster Benedict and the shrimp and lobster omelette, both  were amazing. Picture attached is the Lobster Benedict. As you can see , there was no skimping on the Lobster .  We also inquired about Gluten free options because we also have family members who are GF. I'm happy to report the they can simply switch out the bread , as all of the food/dips/spreads are GF. The waitress was fully versed on GF and menu options. The pricing was reasonable and staff from the front door to the tables were all very nice. They are doing it right ! If your in town , this is s great place to start your morning off right. It seems like the word is out on this gem, so plan accordingly. We ate breakfast Monday morning at around 9 and we were seated within 5 minutes. We passed the Dock Side Kitchen over the weekend riding our bikes and the line is quite long. Well worth the wait if that is your only option though :) More...

The wife and I dined at Dockside Kitchen for her birthday breakfast on 7/17/2018. We arrived early and was able to grab a seat at the bar area right on the bay. Due to the fact that they are a relatively new establishment, I was basing my expectations on the very few reviews, and Instagram. Based on some Instagram photos, my wife and I pre-selected our entrees prior to arriving at the restaurant; avocado toast and crab-cake benedict respectively. I started to waiver once I had the opportunity to glance over the menu. I started to lead towards the lobster benedict, but I become wary about ordering benedicts, or brunch items in general, when the dish contains lobster because establishments tend to get stingy and/or the dish is extremely over-priced. Our waitress persuaded me to go with the lobster benedict and neither she or the dish disappointed. This was probably the second time my brunch lobster entrée lived up to my expectations. I was eating chucks of lobster even though most of the benedict was eaten. Just when you thought a perfect poached egg, a top chucks of lobster couldn't get any better. Bam...the bacon, a braised tomato took it to the next level. The rosemary potatoes were not an after thought. They were cooked perfect texture and seasoned perfectly. My wife felt the kitchen could have been just as generous with the crab, as they were with the lobster. Outside of that she thought her Avocado toast was a decent entrée and she truly enjoyed it. We returned a few days later for lunch with our twins, and her parents. The in-laws ordered salmon salads which looked okay. They enjoyed them but I think my father in-law would probably order something else next time based on what he saw coming out of the kitchen. I contemplated trying another eggs-benedict, but settled for the crab cake sandwich instead. There was a decent quantity and quality of crabmeat that left me extremely satisfied with the sandwich I consumed. The wife decided to go with the smoked salmon sandwich with bacon onion jam and she loved it. Whether its breakfast or lunch, its seems you can't go wrong ordering anything on this menu. I am looking forward to dining at Dockside Kitchen in the future. More...

Great breakfast on the water. Had the Nutella French toast, bagel sandwich, braised beef toast, and avocado BLT. BLT was great. The pulled pork with bacon jam "toast" was deconstructed, which was unexpected. The poached egg was hard cooked, probably from sitting under the heat lamp. Takes credit cards and the wait wasn't too long on a Saturday morning. Great view of the water and cool under the covered patio. More...

I'm between a 3 and 4, but bumped up to the 4 for the friendly staff. The view is wonderful but there are definitely still some kinks to be worked out. The wait to be seated was as expected, but it was almost 10 minutes after being seated before we saw our server. The time waiting for food after our order was taken was longer than it should've been and the plates served were a little sloppy. I had eggs Benedict - the eggs were not properly poached and there were large egg shell pieces underneath one of the eggs. Another member of the party had very undercooked bacon. I think this place has the potential to be great, but it's still getting there. More...

Just tried this place for the first time and I thought the food was very fresh and delicious. Even though the prices are very steep for breakfast, I thought it was worth it considering their upscale menu. I can't speak for the other menu items, but I got the short rib Benedict and they gave a good amount of short rib which balanced out the cost. My brother got the lobster Benedict and they gave him a TON of lobster. The only thing I could say is the homefries (even though they were clearly fresh potatoes and delicious) were a little undercooked, so next time I'll ask them to be well-done. I also thought the coffee was too strong for my taste, but if I had noticed that it was Drip and Scoop brand i would never have gotten it. That's just a preference thing though. More...

I stumbled upon this place while scrolling through instagram. A donut/icecream shop in OCNJ i follow, Drip & Scoop, had posted about this newly opened brunch spot on the bay. I'm a sucker for eating outside with a view for any meal- breakfast, lunch or dinner- so i couldn't resist trying this place out. My husband and I came last Saturday, unfortunately on one of the chillier mornings at the shore this season. We both agreed, that this is the only thing we didn't enjoy, the fact that it was cold. Other than that, the breakfast was definitely worth all 5 stars. I got the blueberry pancakes and he got the smoked salmon eggs benedict. The pancakes were very tasty, a good size/portion for the price and even came with a side of fresh fruit. They were also piping hot despite it being very windy. My husband loved his breakfast and kept saying how rich and decadent the eggs/salmon were. I'm not a fan of salmon or eggs benedict so i opted not to try his. But, it looked good! The waitresses also kept refilling our coffees, a really nice touch. I will say it was a tad on the expensive side for breakfast, but as it is a new spot and the only spot on the water in ocnj, we didn't mind paying a little extra. We will definitely be back on a warmer, less cold & windy day to try the yummy looking seafood lunch items! More...
