Thank you Rick and team at Designworks NW!!! Our 4 year old website was barely working with plenty of customer ordering problems/complaints. It wasn't like we hadn't paid good $$$ to "self professed Word Press Pros" to upgrade and perform maintenance that just never seemed to improve our site.When we finally found and contacted Designworks, Rick emailed back to say he'd like to have a phone conversation before he got started. WHAT? He wanted to talk to us; our business mattered to Designworks??? It's been the best decision we've made for our business. Our hosting and maintenance will always be with Designworks!Our site was in such bad shape that 90% of our revenue was coming from commission paid sales platforms. Well not anymore!!! After evaluating 20 WordPress design firms and interviewing three of them in person, I chose DesignWorks Northwest. I am ecstatic I did! He redesigned my author site to be modern, SEO relevant, and beautiful. It is hosted on his servers which come with the appropriate security, backups, and database access. The owner, Rick Cano, is knowledgeable, honest, professional, and reasonably priced. We were in contact from beginning to end with my needs and input on the design, matched equally by his good advice regarding considerations for the user interface and SEO. Once he completed the design, he provided training for me to maintain it myself--something I specifically requested as I have worked on websites for the past decade and wanted some control for myself. However, the company also offers the option, for a reasonable monthly fee, to have his team do all the maintenance and updates. This is probably something I will ask them to do at a later date as other parts of my business become more time consuming. Throughout the process, and even now that it is completed, he remained supportive and answered questions or provided fixes very quickly. This is a company that takes customer support seriously.
