Terran and Leondra were very professional and so much fun! They keep you relaxed and are highly skilled in the services they provide. They provided hair and makeup for 7 people on my wedding day including myself and everyone loved them. Working with Della Terra Beauty was an amazing experience. All communication was timely and clear. Terran, the owner and makeup artist, did a trial to ensure we knew exactly what we were looking for, and did makeup for both the engagement shoot and wedding day to perfection. The makeup looked natural and highlighted all my best features, and stayed on for the whole day! I loved working with Terran! I was looking for a stylist in the Asheville area and came across her website. She was very responsive and her pricing was reasonable so I decided to go with her. I'm so glad I did! I have long hair and a lot of it and she was able to give me a really pretty up-do. The coolest part about it was that I was able to take it from an up-do during the ceremony, and then after removing a couple pins, was able to wear it half up/half down during the reception. Terran was amazing! i chose her because she had redheads in your portfolio on her website so I knew she would know what do with my fair skin and coloring. She paused regularly to ask what I thought and if I wanted more of something, less of something, or to do something differently. She even helped my mom get my sticky bra pads in the dress and my dress situated. First off, Terran did my makeup & hair better than I could have imagined. She listened to what ideas I had & made it come to life. Thanks to her, I felt beautiful on my wedding day. She was also so easy to talk to, it felt like I was getting ready with a friend (which was a plus since my husband & I eloped).

BUT the best part was her flexiabilty & willingness to help. The Monday before our Saturday ceremony our photographer & officiant backed out. When I told Terran she immediately asked if there was anything she could do to help & proceeded to help me find, & hire, a photographer & an officiant. Due to the new bookings, we had to move the time of the ceremony around a little & she was so flexable & understanding about it.

When I began my search for a makeup artist, I noticed the absence of redheads in their portfolios. As a redhead, I have experienced some awful makeup in the past and I did not want that to happen on my wedding day. When I came across Della Terra I noticed she had multiple redhead brides and that made me super comfortable with her. Our wedding was off the main path and they just worked around the environment. The only thing that I wish I could have changed was my hair. The braids were very pretty, but with my hair type, the curls should have been done with a straightener, not a curling iron. This makes a difference with naturally curly hair because the curl would have been silky instead of frizzy. By the time I realized this, it was too late and the show must go on. I would recommend Della Terra, just know what's best for your hair, but I feel like this would go for any stylist. More...

Terran is by far the best MUA I have ever worked with. She took me on last minute for my bridal shoot (literally 4 days before the shoot) and was SO accommodating to me. I was so impressed with her that I booked her for my wedding day, despite my original plans. Not only was I BEYOND happy with her makeup and hair services but she was also very easy to get along with. She is very disciplined about her workspace and making sure I am happy with my look. Wow. Words can't describe how amazing Terran is and how much I loved my hair and make-up for my wedding. I wanted something feminine and different that would show off my personality. One side of my head was shaved and the other had long hair. Terran made a Pinterest board for me with a bunch of looks for inspiration and we decided on a braid sweeping to one side with jewels showing off the shaved pattern. She even suggested how I could do my own clip-in extensions and she walked me through the whole process and then used those in my hair design. People all thought it was my natural hair and we're amazed. My make-up also struck the best balance of glamor (loved the lashes!!) And still allowing my freckles (which my husband loves!!) to shine through. She made the day fun, rrlaxing, and magical!! Terran from Della Terra Beauty did my makeup for my wedding on May 5th and she was wonderful! I have never had my makeup done professionally and I had no idea what to expect but Terran made it easy and stress free. She arrived a few minutes early and was very patient and flexible when I was running a few minutes late. She was prepared and professional but she also has a wonderful personality that can get along with anyone. I wanted very natural looking makeup and Terran did a wonderful job achieving that and giving me that glow without making me feel like I was wearing too much makeup.
