What makes a great website?
Creating a great website is like any project, it is all in the prep work. First our team will work with you to find out what the key features are that you need and the core concepts you want to communicate to your sites visitors. Next, if warranted, we will ask to speak to some of your customers to help identify things that your customers may look for on your site that you didn't think of. Once we have a good picture of what the site needs to be we can begin the design process. We will start with wireframing where we will design the layout of the site, but not the look and feel to get a good understanding of the UX. Next our design team will design the unique look and feel of the website. During this process, constant communication between the design team, the client and the engineering team will be happening to make sure we are meeting the business needs, creating a great website design and creating a site that will function as great as it looks. Once design is signed off on, our engineering team will take over and transform the static designs into a functional website. At the end of the process we will launch the site and provide any training and follow up services you may need to ensure you are successful in meeting your goals.
By focusing on discovering your websites needs up front, before design happens, and continuously working with engineering to make sure we are designing something that functions as amazing as it looks, we are able to strike a critical balance between the aesthetic and the functional that makes our sites beautiful, fun and interactive. Throughout the design and development process as well as after the project is complete, we use feedback and analytics from all sources possible in order to inform our process and make sure that our projects are being built to perform.

In our initial meeting we will work to get an understanding of what it is you need from the site. Rather than jump immediately into design, it is important to lay a strong foundation by fully exploring what the site needs to accomplish so we not only have an understanding of what needs to be built but also something to measure our performance against. We will work with you to discover key features that you need your site to have as well as make recommendations to you based on our experience. We will ask you to provide links to sites that you enjoy using either because of their functionality (industry competitors normally) or because of their design. This helps us understand what it is you like and will the designers better understand what you look for in a great site.
