We got married on 11/11/2011. Danielle was recommended to us and we couldn't have been happier. Danielle is very pleasant to work with and she knows her stuff very well, making it easier on us since we know little about flowers. I gave her some ideas of what we liked and she mapped it out quickly and knew exactly what to do. Seeing all of the candles, flowers, bouquets, and centerpieces the day of the wedding was truly breathtaking. We were extremely happy of how everything turned out to be and the centerpieces just made the room look so beautiful. She even threw in additional rose petals and candles throughout the venue. We can't thank you enough!

Prompt, efficient, and great customer service!Ordered the morning of for flowers for my friend's wake and the gentleman who handled my order was patient and courteous. He helped me decide on the set of flowers to have delivered. I called back a couple of hours later to possibly upgrade the set but alas they were too quick! Had the set done and ready to be delivered. Good, prompt and responsible.  I ordered a few arrangements from my family members for a wake to be sent to a nearby church. They take email and phone order by credit card. Today I walked into this flower shop and was blown away. The store is very beautiful and I had a nice warm feeling with the polite and kind staff that helped me explore all of my flower options. I bought a few really nice arrangements for a special family occasion and I am also having flowers sent to friends as well. Okay, this is during "Sandy" or rather it's aftermath.  One of my neighbors had to go back to NY to help their family with their mess from Sandy.  They've been there with grandma/pa, aunts, uncles, etc., all trying to get the house in Rockaway back in some kind of condition.  Since they are still there as of this post, I decided to send them something to pick up their spirits and at the same time help out a local business (I hoped!).   Since there are so many people at the house, I went for a big basket of fruit, chocolates, etc., and had a plant added for future gardening.  When I called, I got Danielle herself at home, working partially from there and her store.   I told her what I wanted, including the live plant.  She couldn't have been nicer.   I told her to just deliver it when she could before Thanksgiving.   Now, I'm going to add one small note, my friends are both on the short side.Okay, Danielle had to leave the basket on the side porch because no one was home and their cell phones were dead, typical now with no electrical.  Anyway, they got their basket and they said it was almost as tall as they were!   The response I was in almost incredible.  My friends were absolutely thrilled and said it was incredible.  Beautiful, chock full of fruit and goodies, ribbon, awesome basket and a new plant!I can't say enough about the service, professionalism, and help she gave me....and all while trying to deal with the remnants of the hurricane herself.  Now I live in California, so this was a stretch finding a place that was open and would deliver, all on the other side of the country.Kudos to Danielle and I hope any of you reading this that live out there or near, or have friends that you want to send something to, please use Danielle's Rockaway Florist.    She was great! We absolutely loved her! When you are spending a great deal of money on a day which is super important to you, albeit only one day, you hope, wish, desire and expect for it to be amazing. Well, Danielle and her team did exactly that! It all began with my consultation. I felt as if we'd been friends forever. She made me feel warm and fuzzy inside...eventually earning my complete trust & I am super happy I did.

They delivered our 8 bouquets (mine plus 7 maids/matrons), 6 boutonniere's (9 boutonniere's in total to the hotel) and the remaining floral decor including: 3 corsages, gazebo decorator atop and both sides (outdoor ceremony), organza & roses for aisles on chairs, petals for throwing and scattering on aisle runner, 22 tables (high/low centerpieces), petals for cake table - to the venue (Dyker Beach Golf Course) all at at affordable price!

There was not 1 complaint or hiccup. STRIKINGLY SEAMLESS and in the end, SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! Our guests raved about the tables and even wanted to take the entire arrangement home (including the vases, which were rented) - so instead, they simply removed the flowers and left with smiles.

I just recommended Danielle to a friend of mine whom is to be married in April as well as my best friend whom is to be married in September - and I TRULY BELIEVE they're going to have the same review I did after their weddings....

It is as hard to find a good florist as it is a great haircutter. lol. But this one does magnificent work! The flowers are always very fresh, great customer service and the shop is beautifully decorated. Love to stop in and check out the beautiful wreaths and little gifts and pick up something for mom when I visit her. Last time I sent flowers my mom was crying because they were so beautiful. Dear Danielle, thank you so much! The wedding flowers were absolutley perfect and exactley what we wanted and so fresh, the vases and flowers for the tables were more beautiful than i imagined worked perfectly with the theme i was also very happy and impressed with my beautiful fresh bouquet the detail inside it and around it so elegant,gorgeous,light, and comfortable to hold, didnt want to let it go. :) The professionalism and service was all on point and there when we needed last minute requests with no questions asked i would most definatley use Danielle's Florist again in the future with out a doubt i love your work so from the bottom of our hearts thank you so much.

Danielle was great. She worked within our budget, and she was so helpful when choosing the right arrangements for the wedding. She was so nice & accommodating every time we met, emailed or spoke over the phone. I know nothing about flowers, and she helped me come up with the perfect arrangements. Not too girlie, worked well with a beach wedding, and looked amazing. She was great especially when about a week before the wedding, I realized I had more tables than centerpieces and she took care of everything. Living in Long Island, I was skeptical to go to a Queens Florist. I'm so happy that I did. Danielle was brilliant. She spent time explaining all of our options and created a one of a kind table center pieces. They were sensational. We had over 30 tables and each piece was more beautiful than the next. Everything that Danielle said she was going to do for us, she did. The catering hall looked esquisite. I remember thinking to myself, wow, look how talented this woman is. Danielle gives such professional and courteous service, I use her for all occasions. Some may consider themselves foodies I consider myself a bloomie, and Danielle won't be stumped, she knows everything about flowers. i have known danielle who owns the place personally for quite some time now..and i donot have a problem critizing..my brother had recently passed away and my mother had gotten in touch with her. .danielle quickly made up many many pieces and one piece made took many many hours to make.,.she is an artist and payes so much attention to detail if you want something custom..she made the comedy n drama face on a large funeral piece with all types of flowers..everyone who came was in awe of how wonderful that piece was..i will rate her on originality,presentation,service and promptness..as for prices..some flowers and pieces can be pricy, but she is well worth it and the quality is suberb..kudos More...

Danielle is super fantastic! She is responsive, willing to work in the price range that you at comfortable with and she did everything that I wanted with my floral arrangements with extreme professionalism and creativity. We had breautiful potted daisies during the ceremony and on the tables and my maids and I had lovely bouquets! Absolutely amazing. 3 years ago, and I still think about how perfect the day was...
