Minutes before my ceremony I sent a scribbled note to Dan asking for songs to be played to a specific second (I'm a little crazy like that), and without a second thought it was handled. Dan & Tray Productions hosted my wedding Aug 11 2018. We met with them one time and knew they were the ones we were picking. They made us feel like we have known them forever! We had an outdoor wedding and it was HOT! They came for the rehearsal dinner the night before even tho it was such a long drive. I could count on them the entire time of planning and more! We had also had the photo booth witch was a HUGE hit and everyone loved it. I received a memory book and an option for the guest to buy magnet strips for my fridge at home! We happen to be a pretty big group who loves to party and dance. We were not ready for them to leave and they ended up staying for a little bit longer! They really made it a night to remember! DanandTrayproductions Their team works together to bring the party! They recently traveled to northern Michigan to DJ and run a Photo Booth at our wedding in Gaylord MI @ Tree Tops Resort. Dan and Tracy worked together make sure that our day was extra special, as we felt the love working with them! Super organized and professional, working with their customers before the event occurs to make sure every detail is perfect from the name projection on the walls and floor, the up lighting, the song lists, dances, games, photo booth fun and much more, they actually taught us a few things about weddings. What I loved the most is how they both worked with us, they are patient and kind people especially when our 3 year old son was acting up and we had to split for a few, they kept the party going, for our guests, and our family and friends are still talking about the amazing time they had at our wedding! The secret is having the Emcee and DJ interact with the crowd. Having the crowd participate in the event's activities allows for a more enjoyable experience.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Many have asked what is the difference between a DJ and an Emcee (Master of Ceremonies or MC)? The difference is our DJs provide sound and music for your event whereas our Emcees are the host of your event, they incorporate the music the DJ is providing, but they work to engage the crowd, elevating the entire feel of the evening's entertainment. Each of our clients are provided with both an Emcee and a DJ for their event.
What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
Photo booths are great to have for any event for several reasons. They create great keepsakes for you and your guests. Select photo booth packages come with a memory book and at the event the book is filled with the photo strips taken by guests along with a space for the guests to write a note. The guests also receive a photo strip. Many people have used this memory book as their guestbook. Photo booths also have a sense of nostalgia. Back in the good old days where phones didn’t travel with us and take pictures, we headed with our friends to a booth in the malls or party to commemorate the event. Photo booths now a day harken back to this old time feel with updated props and accessories. Photo booths are a talking point. Guests love to show others how their photos turn out and starts conversations between people who may not know each other.

What inspired you to start your own business?
It began as a hobby, but than it was discovered there was a market for DJ services that provided us the opportunity to not only share our craft, but also provide exceptional DJ entertainment at affordable rates. Shortly after beginning our endeavor of DJing professionally, we expanded our entertainment service to include photo booth rentals for any event as well as wedding officiant services.

DJ & Emcee Entertainment
We are inexpensive yet very experienced. We offer all the music you could want or need for your event and then some. Our DJ & Emcee service also offers lights and announcements. We will make your day the way you want it because after all it is your day! We can take requests from your guests as long as it's what you want or we can play only your requests.
Photo Booth Rental
Photo Booths are great for just about any event! Weddings, Open Houses, Anniversaries, Holiday Events, Graduations, Class Reunions, Birthday Parties, School Functions, Etc. Photo booths are great to have for any event for several reasons. They create great keepsakes for you and your guests. Each guest receives one personalized photo strip per visit. A memory book is provided with our photo booth gold package and it will contain your guests images with their special comments. Many people have used this memory book as their guestbook.
We have open, enclosed and inflatable photo booths, but we recommend the open or inflatable booth for a more enjoyable experience. Our booths come with a selection of backdrops. We have green screen templates to enhance your photo booth experience that are available upon request.
After each photo booth event your photo booth picture collection will be available to be viewed in our Gallery. This is to provide those wanting an idea of what our photo booth strips look like and to show just how entertaining it is to have our photo booth at their event. Each photo booth rental will include an attendant that will assist your guests with using our photo booth.
Wedding Officiant
At Dan and Tray Productions we understand that choosing a wedding officiant is an important decision to make when planning your wedding. That is why we make it our mission to ensure the ceremony service you desire is performed the way you want it. Our wedding officiants are ordained in the State of Michigan and have experience with guiding and leading individuals with the ceremony process.
