As someone who trains dogs for a living, it’s an understatement to say that my own dogs are my world, and I am highly selective (ok, totally neurotic) about who cares for them. After going through a handful of sitters that just did not cut it and nearly resigning myself to never traveling ever again, I lucked out and found Carrie. She is now the ONLY sitter I trust to watch my babies while I’m away, period. If she’s not available, I’ll change my travel plans. No exaggeration.Why such high praise? Because Carrie is the only person I know who will follow my crazy instructions to the letter, and THEN go above and beyond to make sure my fur kids are safe and happy. The first time she stayed with them, I gave her a full 4 pages of care instructions, and she did every single thing exactly as I asked (I know cause we’re those creepy people who have cameras all over the house). My dogs have special needs, so there are lots of little things that need to be done a very specific way. I’m sure the minutiae is a pain and probably seems unnecessary to sitters, but Carrie never even batted an eyelash at my numerous requests.Carrie is quite simply the best sitter ever. She’s accommodating, punctual, and one of the most detail-oriented people I’ve ever met. To top it all off, she sends awesome updates with adorable photos and videos while we’re away. Not just the standard “they’re doing great today” - you can tell she is actually spending time with your dog because she notices all the little things that make your dog the special nugget he/she is.If your dog is your baby and you have a hard time trusting the average sitter, Carrie is your dream come true. What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats in order to form a close bond between us. It’s a wonderful feeling to see our trust and love in each other grow throughout my time with them. And then it really means the world to me to know that the pet owners can relax and appreciate the care that I give to their pets as well.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been interested in working with animals and taking care of them. When I was in grade school, I offered my time to help take care of the neighbors dogs while they were on vacation and I loved giving dog walks too. Then last year I decided that I was ready to take my dream of becoming a pet care provider to the next level by creating my own business and it’s been very successful so far.

I’m told by all of my dog and cat families that they are very happy with the quality of care and passion I have for their pets. After all, the slogan of my business is: “see why I care as much as you do!” and I’m confident that new clients will agree too.
