I came in today to pick out cupcakes for my son's birthday party. I hadn't pre-ordered but was surprised that there were great options. I also bought the cookie dough and my sister and I ate it on our way back to Altoona,so delicious. Attended a Valentines cookie decorating class.  It was fun to be creative.  The owner is very nice and she had her daughter as a helper too.  The cookies were delicious plus she shared her recipe.There were several tip selections so we were able to be very creative.  I am not the best decorator but everyone I gave a cookie to said it was a super yummy cookie and they loved the frosting too!  They only do this once a year so if you want to do this watch for it next year.  They do have cupcake and cake decorating classes if you like all year long.  Support local! I went into cupcake addict yesterday and all of their cupcakes I got were DELICIOUS!! Their baker even gave me a free one because she accidentally put the wrong toppings on a cupcake, but it should be no accident, that cupcake was one of the best I've ever had! ! It was a moist cinnamon cupcake with buttercream frosting and was topped with caramel drizzle. I highly recommend that you guys make that one of your cupcakes and call it "Sugar & Spice" ❤️

Our team received a delivery from Cupcake Addict as a thank-you from a client. We loved the cupcakes and the cake balls. They all looked so good we couldn't decide which ones to try so we ended up cutting them so we could try multiple flavors. The taste test was a good way to break up the afternoon and a great experience for the team. Honestly, not sure I could pick a favorite. They were all delicious. You can definitely tell that they use real butter! And we've already arranged for a coworker to stop in next week and purchase some of the cookie dough to try out! More...

Cupcake Addict has a great product. The owner works her butt off to delivery fantastic cupcakes with her own recipes in different flavors on time. She is passionate and is out in the community all the time mingling with people from farmers market to kids fairs. She now packages her own mixes for perfect DIY cupcakes at home. She is also a great entrepreneur embracing video and social media mixed with in-person events to build a business that supports her family. Way to go! Not only has the staff been phenomenal to work with, (I'm a pretty particular party planner) the product has been absolutely UNBELIEVABLE each time. I just recently had my daughter's 2nd birthday party at Cupcake Addict in Johnston. It was an 'Elf on the Shelf' theme party. Janet was very helpful before the party in getting everything perfect for me. Great space for about 35 people. Very clean and private. We didn't make a big mess, but Janet cleaned up after us. I'm very busy so Janet was very accommodating with that and did all communication via email with me. The cake was custom and was absolutely perfect from them. The lady that helped us(my family) was incredibly nice.  The raw cookie dough, don't even get me started it was so delicious. I love their cupcakes!  The Milkshake flavor is great!  The staff are really helpful and just as sweet to customers as their cupcakes.  I am very picky about the consistency and "moistness" of my cupcakes; they have this on lock.  It's important to note that I stopped at about 4:30 in the afternoon, so you know that these weren't baked within the hour. The cupcakes here are AWESOME - I have taken dozens to various meetings and client offices with rave reviews. I always get a separate container with 2 for myself - 1 to shove in my mouth when I get to my car in the parking lot (it's a moment) and 1 for dessert later that night or the next day. Cupcake...yum.  This place has a decent selection of cupcakes ready to choose from.  About 16 options. Plus another 20+ cake pops options. We arrived late in the day, so the cupcake selection was limited. I had the Triple Peanut Butter, and my wife a chocolate/butterfinger/caramel. Both were delicious! Moist and flavorful cake. Creamy and not too heavy/not too light frosting. My wife and I noticed that the cupcakes were slightly smaller than ones we've bought elsewhere, but this was not an issue since they were so satisfying. This was our first visit at this business.
