The food was tasty. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bill was decent for the quality.

What a vast array of food and drink! The pastry case is beautiful. Everything is fresh and the staff are professional and courteous.
Lovely open space, patient service, good coffee. Mostly baked goods, not a large selection, but the soup was thick and rich and the pastry crust flaky.
Ny first time in was charming! I had their breakfast sandwich (the one on the ciabatta roll), and their London Fog. The service was top notch! I even tried to get my tea to bring it back to my table, and was kindly reminded by the barista that it would be brought out to me.I'll definitely be back! More...
The food and coffee are nice, but the environment tends to be on the noisy side. The space is open and echo-y, most notably when the staff does dishes it echos throughout the large open space. Would be fine for lunch but not great for working. More...
Best cafe I've been to on the Eastside. Lots of seating, AWESOME coffee, tea and they make their own bread, muffins, breakfast snacks, sandwiches and so much more. AMAZING bakery, even better coffee. They open their shutters and have outside seating during warm days. Dog friendly. Also check out the food carts just a half a block south of them. More...
Great cafe with even better vibes. The teas and coffees are awesome and the pastries are even better. Staff is always friendly. Perfect place to go for a work date or quick lunch. (Plus there's always dogs outside and that's always a positive.) More...
One of the best bakeries in Portland. Everything is made in house and delicious, there are great savory options along with the sweets, and the coffee is always great. The cafe has a relaxing atmosphere, and it's a great place to meet friends or hang out with a book or laptop. Service is always friendly and fast. Often cute dogs tied up outside the window while their owners get treats, which always makes my day. More...
Terrible snarky service Amazing quiche

Amazing baked goods, premium coffee, wonderfully curated art exhibits, snobby baristas.
Awesome spot and great coffee! We were a bit early for our gig so YUM! We will be back!
Coffee is great and consistent. Pastries are delightful

Fan. Damn. Tastic. Just enjoyed one of the best cappuccinos I've ever had. Great atmosphere and friendly employees.

Consistently great coffee - and their ginger scone - OMFG - so good ! ♡♡♡♡♡
The food was wonderful. Sitting with two beautiful woman at the table . Such great selection of tantalizing foods and pastries.
Good service, good food, good conversation, pleasant atmosphere and best of all, laughter in the air.
I have not had one thing here I didn't love -but especially their baklava and vietnamese iced coffee. My fellow customers on the other hand - are nine times out of ten really, really irritating.

I now live in another state but visit often and I make sure I come and get one if the best vanilla soy lattes ever
Love the coffee and pastries! I ordered a honey vanilla latte with hemp milk and a gluten free muffin, and both were great. Can't wait to go back!

One of my favorite places to grab a bite in SE. Their coffee drinks are consistently good, the sandwiches and quiches are great, and the people watching is fantastic. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's a great place to relax on a weekend morning. More...
All of the baked goods are delicious and well executed. I am a fan of the bread pudding which is a different flavor every day. Also, you cannot go wrong with their cookies. More...
Delicious Blueberry Bread Pudding! So glad we stopped in!
minimal charge for 8, 12 & 16oz french press, ludicrously extensive amount of house-made pastries and breakfast/lunch meals, they *actually* serve 5oz espresso drinks and there's a current employee named Victor who is a complete and total sweetheart.
clean space, *two* gender-neutral restrooms & a generous amount of seating for the size of the room
I'm not sure if Coava (a roaster/supplier they use) just has a hard time performing light-medium roasts but I'm pretty sure Kenyan coffees shouldn't be dark-roasted. Every coffee I tried tasted like a dark roast and it was clearly not an extraction problem on the baristas' part. I'm not even going to blame Coava for the potential roast issues because the "burnt-tasting" coffees that snobs and laypeople alike still complain about these days are entirely due to the cursed "Starbucks Effect"
This is a fuhreaking great establishment to frequent if you want a meal or a treat and wireless internet. The staff is great, particularly that Victor fellow. If you dig on coffee and/or espresso sans cream/syrup, you can probably get a latte and forego snobbery for the sake of this place's good qualities. More...

Stopped in for much needed coffee and baked goods on my final day in Portland. The coffee hit the spot and the pistachio macarons were perfect. This is the closest I've been to finding a coffee shop and bakery that can compete with my favorite one here in Boise. The staff was wonderful as well, greeting me kindly but not being intrusive or overpowering. I had a delightful time. More...
Yum. Oh, yum!
As an Uber driver, I see a lot of places and just keep moving until enough people give a recommendation. After several encouraging stories, I stopped driving and found out it was every bit at good as I had been told.
To the baker I have picked up twice off Barbur Blvd, I hope I pick you up again so I can follow you in... mmmmmm..... More...

My go-to for happy hour snack. The prosecco on tap is so refreshing. Don’t leave without trying the caramelized Brie. The soft serve cones are decadent. Can’t really go wrong here.
Don't miss the chance to indulge in their star quality baked goods! This spot is a favorite for locals to set up camp and do computer work, read, and socialize. Plenty of seating helps to accommodate a big crowd of neighborhood folks. More...
Great service. The crew works really well together. A bit chilly with the big doors open but refreshing.
Friendly place, tasty food. Worth checking out.
Best pastries and great coffee. I am not a sweet drink person but if I do want one I'll go here for a Spanish latte or Mexican mocha.
I really like the kickstart breakfast sandwiches and the coffee cake. More...
This is a popular local cafe and bakery that attracts a trendy crowd. The ambiance is what I like best with its super high ceilings, funky colors, and auto-bay styled garage doors that comprise one of the cafes walls.
They are often open in summer with scents from the bakery wafting from Burnside to Stark. Their baristas are top notch and friendly and, though I've only tried the chai latte there (Arguably the best in Portland), from what I see the crema, thickened with honey, lives up to it it's name.
Great pastries! Busy spot! Can be hard to find a table. Light filled space with cool rotating art on the walls. Some outdoor seating that is really nice for dog watching when the weather warms.
Good coffee, great selection of tasty treats. Quiche is amazing and served with salad. Absolutely lovely cafe to study in while it's pouring outside!
A minor mixup with pastries (another customer's fault) got me a free pastry! Great customer service. And dat sweet apple bacon on the Kickstart...
This place is very nice, first time there today due to a friend working there, very nice people chill place, I love environments like this.
Fantastic baked goods, and great coffee! Please add %10 to your POS system tip line though. Asking 15% and above only, for counter service, is really tacky.
Their coffee is great, their baked goods are amazing! And the kickstart breakfast sandwich is a great way to start your day!
Amazing pastries and very good coffee. Way to excel at both baking and roasting, Crema.
I love Crema. The coffee and lattes are wonderful. I really like the Caramel Sutra and Honey Vanilla lattes. They also have good drip coffee.
The pastries have never disappointed either. I’ve tried almost all of them. They have a cheddar corn biscuit that is exceptional!
They have a few food dishes as well. I’ve had the breakfast sandwich, turnover pastry (filled with potatoes and eggs and wrapped in a pastry dough), and the quiche (which has a yummy side salad). All of it is really good.
One thing to note: it’s CRAZY busy on the weekends. Usually the tables are full and there’s a good line. More...
Coffee and these amazing breakfast foods. Staff is fun.
I went there to work and have some coffee. Seems like a great little spot. Coffee is fine and the egg tart was quite good.
Seems to be where it's at. Basic drip coffee is better than normal and pastries are spot on! Snap
Great coffee and baked stuff. Nice open atmosphere. Can be crowded during prime time
I love this place. The people that work here are really awesome, generous. The food is the bomb in every way. Super fresh and delectable!
I know the owner. They have amazing service, great food and great prices. I highly recommend it!
Great atmosphere. Excellent pastries and coffee. Reasonable prices. A little crowded at times.
The best coffee shop in SE Portland! Great treats, tasty coffee, and a friendly staff. Lots of tables in an open space, so an easy spot to meet with friends or work on a laptop. The Mexican mocha is my fave drink on the menu! More...
