Beautiful food, attentive staff, reasonable prices, and a lovely room. Solid date night option.
Very good food. It's a true French space with tables close together. Great service.
Great atmosphere! Knowledgeable staff
Outstanding French. Visiting Denver for a conference. I went here on back to back nights. It is that good.

Happy hour chickpeas fries is a joy to consume
Great brunch spot. They always have the best Benedict in town. Definitely worth checking out.
This was an incredible meal with a great staff
We met a friend for dinner. The setting is great, in a courtyard well off busy Larimer Street, and with a nice terrace that must be nice when the weather is good. The weather was very cold when we went, so the warm tones inside set the right mood for the poor weather outside. I tried the escargots, and my friend and I split orders of sauteed scallops and steak frites. The food was excellent overall, although the escargots were not served piping hot, as I like them. The scallops were tender and perfectly cooked, and the steak likewise so. The service was excellent. More...

The atmosphere was excellent. I went with my girlfriend and we had great service and great food, which made the celebration that much more enjoyable.
Very charming delicious food, the staff is just Amazing ... Great selection of wine.
This is a must visit and dine while in Denver! We will come back! Parigian food, great happy hour 1/2 off any wine by glass and appetizers. Our server was very good and sitting in the patio is very romantic and relaxing. More...
The food was amazing except you could mortality wound someone with the bread it was so hard!!! The waiter would have gotten a better tip if he didn't have an additude after I asked for a dessert menu.
Romantic for a couple but also casual enough if needed, great food and atmosphere
Looking for French Cuisine? Look no further. This place is fantastic, the Chef is super friendly and so is the staff.Reasonably priced for what it is, but make a reservation. You might feel like this is an upscale restaurant but I've never been looked down upon walking in with Basketball shorts and a T-shirt on (I like to dress comfortably). Duck Confit.... Highly recommended unless they've taken it off their menu by chance. Quaint and cozy too; wonderful place to take a date ;) More...
The pork chop is thick, so ask for a deeper doneness. Atmosphere in the yard is nice.
Charming. Staff is nice, food is good.
Everything was perfect!
A very sophisticated and friendly restaurant. We had a group of 5, who wanted to talk more than eat. The wait staff was very patient and accommodating! If you want the chicken please know that it takes 30 minutes. Your colleagues may be eating before you! The bread was warm and delicious. The meal was beautifully presented! We Jared desserts which were delightful to behold as they were to consume. More...
Escargot and frites are the best frankly in the world and the duck was amazing the whole fish as Well Services also amazing as well thank you Beth thank you Jen always love your spots
Food and service were excellent. My mother raved about the duck. We had the chicken and mellon salad which were both wonderfully prepared. A few pieces of advice: play music that matches the setting. Jimi Hendrix does not belong in a romantic courtyard. Candles on the tables would be a nice addition as well. More...
I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection
Great happy hour from 3-6
Had an amazing date night here. Great service and delicious food!
This place had great happy hours!
Best French food ❣️ duck is excellent , dessert and coffee , perfect.
Attended a group dinner here, so didn't get to experience the full menu...but what we did have was delicious! Just can't go five stars with a limited dining experience.
Amazing atmosphere and even better food!!
Food was awesome, service was slow and not as attentive as we wished. Will go back to give it another chance , hopefully better service next time.
This is an excellent choice for French food. Highly recommend!
Amazing restaurant, great food, and a late dinner on the patio feels more like New Orleans than Denver.
Loved the atmosphere and food, tucked away and feels like you are truly experience the French countryside eating in their private garden area.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, on first visit I ordered THE classic Steak Frites, very good! A rain storm broke we had to get to cover. The staff handled it well. A favorite of others in the family. More...

Nettes Lokal mit schönem Innenhof. Ruhig gelegen und gutes Essen.
Fabulous French feast! We shared the 4 charcuterie apps, plus steak tartare to start. I had chickpea-leek cakes (unreal!) for my main course. Finished up sharing several desserts - creme brulee was excellent. What a treat! More...
We had a large group and the service and food was outstanding.
This might be the best food I’ve eaten in the Greater Denver Area. After years, who knew there was such an amazing French kitchen hiding in Larimer square. It has been in my list for years and I feel like we’ve lost so much time we could have been eating there! Alright, to the food: the chicken crepe was incredible. The father in law ordered it and I split it per his request, didn’t even want it that much when it hit the table, tried it, easily the best savory crepe I’ve ever had. I didn’t try them much in France so grain of salt added, but it truly was. Also had an amazing French onion soup with it. I had the crispy duck and only tried the pork as mains. I felt like the duck won the day, but the table was split on that versus the pork, so they really hit home runs with both. Wine couldn’t have been more on point either. There was so much more - but alas this review is too long already. The blueberry tart dessert couldn’t have been a better way to finish. Honestly the best meal I’ve ever had in the city. Can’t say enough, as Bistro Vendome is now the date night favorite for the wife and I....we couldn’t be happier. More...
Best steak in Denver excellent service
Had such a great date night here, the space feels the closest thing to France in Denver, half off bottles on monday.....all the dishes were great and it was just a great experience.Started with the: Escargotimported Burgundy snails, Pernod-fennel butter, fines herbes, brioche , very good and really liked the breadcrumbs to give it that crisp, next we had the Steak Tartareaioli, Dijon mustard, capers, shallots, quail egg, grilled baguette* also very good, very good texture and flavor, the egg makes the dish. We split the Bouillabaissesaffron broth, prawns, mussels, clams, spring onions, English peas, rouille toasted baguette, herbs, which was outrageous and full of flavor, we ended the meal with coffee and a Chocolate Soufflévanilla bean crème anglaise, just wonderful More...
Good atmosphere, friendly staff, fòod was fine overall.
Excellent food, service, and ambience. A little pricey, but with it for a great dining experience

Bistro Vendome is a stylishly elegant and delicious place to eat. The food is wonderful, and we normally wind up ordering the Steak Tartare for appetizers and some unique desserts. All of the food and the restaurant itself reflects French culture. It is always such a joyful experience, and we go whenever we can! More...
Good service! But, if you ever tried escargot and tartar in France. Well. It’s different...
Good atmosphere, great service.
Extraordinary! The pork chop, new to the menu, is simply incredible.
Late midweek dinner for 4. My companions loved their wine, and my drink was fine. Although undersized, the salmon was fantastic, as was the carrot dish. We all agreed that the salmon was near perfect. Recognizing that the salmon portion was small, though, and sorry that they were out of something else we wanted to order, they comped the wine. The desserts were stellar. Well done! More...
Went here for our anniversary and am so glad we went here. Amazing staff, great food, lovely atmosphere.
Terrific French food without pretense. Service and ambiance were both outstanding! Reasonable prices for what it is too!
Food was over salted.
french food... very satisfying. Service is always prompt even when they have a full house. It has a cool feel to it. If it wasn't far from my work I would come by more.
French food and service here is quality. i should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. the bill was fair for the quality of the food. More...
I always love this place! Their steak frites are amazing and everyone is always friendly!
I visited this wonderful little hidden jewel of a restaurant with Victoria Price, the daughter of horror star Vincent Price on the occasion of the relaunch by Ms. Price of her father's famous cookbook, "A Treasury of Great Recipes." Every item served during the multi-course dinner came directly from the book, even the hors d'oeuvres. If you live in Denver, or are even just visiting, I strongly suggest taking the time to have a meal there and just enjoy the wonderful food and the relaxing air. My only regret was my not being able to indulge in the drinks, due to medications I was on (no alcohol allowed.)EDIT: One thing I should have included in this review was, when I informed them I couldn't have any alcohol, the staff immediately offered me Perrier bottled water, and insisted it was on the house. That's above and beyond the call, right there. I love, LOVED Bistro Vendôme. It’s a great and delicious French restaurant. When I go here, I love getting the Bouillabaisse. It is absolutely delicious! If you ever in Larimer square, make sure to go check them out. The decor inside the restaurant is beautiful as well. More...

Exceptional food. Perfect for a romantic dinner.
The scallops were fabulous!
Good atmosphere, good flavors, but probably the smallest "duck confit" leg i have ever had!
Had Sunday Brunch and it was superb. French press at the table, menu had sweet + savory. Always get the beignets!
Very authentic French dining experience. Great French press coffee, nice menu choices for brunch.
Excellent spot! Very good food, moderately priced (for the neighborhood), decent wine selection. Some of the wait staff could be a little better but they work well as a team. Go on a Sunday evening for half priced bottles of wine. The servings are "European" sized so you will likely need (want) to do multiple courses. More...

Such a perfect little spot nestled in charming Larimer Square. I’ve only visited for brunch and it was delightful, had a croque madame that dreams are made of! At first the egg was undercooked and they took it back no problem and made it to my liking. The atmosphere is so quaint and charming and would be a lovely date spot. They offer a great blood orange mimosa that is so delicious. I cannot wait to return for dinner and they also offer a daily happy hour which looks amazing! More...

Excellent food and service. Will return when we have more time to enjoy
We came out to celebrate two birthdays, so we decided to go all out and had cocktails, wine, cheese, 3 appetizers, entrees, and shared 3 desserts. We spent two hours working our way through it all, and everything we tried was delicious. Our server Rachel was amazing, even though it was a lot of food she paced it perfectly so we managed to get through it all. Some of the highlights were the steak tartar, the escargot, and the meringue (the dessert wine suggested with it was perfect!). Their attention to detail really made the experience. 10/10 More...

Wonderful food as always

Food and atmosphere are incredible! Waitstaff has for the most part been excellent except for our last visit. Our main waiter made us feel invisible.... will be back again to give it another chance because it’s like stepping back to France. One recommendation would be to have French music playing in the background instead of “today’s hits” or maybe even have live music in the courtyard in good weather? More...
Neat atmosphere, french cuisine. Service was excellent. Food wasn't really my style but that's ok.
A lovely French restaurant! We tried a little bit of everything they had to offer. If you’re new to French food and a little nervous try the poulet roti. If you’re more adventurous try the duck! The liver mousse was absolutely amazing! My only small sadness was the escargot, it was ok, not great. However, everything else was quite fantastic. Try a few different desserts! Try everything! Try it all!!! More...

Everything was absolutely perfect
One of the best meals and dining experiences that I've had in Denver since I arrived in 2007. Vendome has been around since then and proves to be time tested. The wait staff was knowledgeable about the wines and the food was exquisite. Plan your next big meal out here. And plan to return shortly after. I know I did. More...

Great food. It is expensive. Took almost three hours to eat. The waiter was just ok
I just love the food here. Great service and a nice atmosphere that is well suited to good conversation.
Food was good! Prices were overrated! Service was great! Very nice space
Such a great place for amazing food and service. This is a great place for date night or a dinner before a show! Loved it!
Great food, and romantic setting.
Was visiting Denver for our anniversary. Was looking for a nice place for dinner and found this place. The hostess greeted up with a nice Happy Anniversary when we checked in. The wait staff was friendly and helpful with the items on the menu and wine. The food was amazing. If I ever come back to Denver, I'd make sure to come back to this place. More...
This is my go to spot for any special occasion. On my girlfriend's last birthday, I booked a table here through Open Table and the staff of Bistro Vendôme knocked it out of the park with things to make her night special. We were seated in a perfect little secluded corner table, on which they had put some flowers to mark the occasion. After a scrumptious steak frites for both of us, and equally wonderful cocktails, our server shocked us by including two desserts for us at the price of one. My girlfriend was even given a staff signed card including special discounts/deals for future visits. What an incredible night and amazing service. Bistro Vendôme and their entire staff will go so far out of their way to make your special occasion truly feel special. The food is incredible, and service is second to none here. Best French restaurant in the city. More...
Enjoyed not only the food but the sous chef, Becca. Joe was ok and fun too! Thank you!
Really good place to grab French food. They got fresh mussels from Canada this week.
I ate here alone. I would expect slow service if I was dinning with someone but not alone. No one even came to get my drink order. Finally a server came, I ordered coffee and an omelette, the omelette came before the coffee. I was half way through eating before the coffee got here. The outdoor seating is beautiful, other than slow the service was great. The omelette was ok, the coffee was very good. More...
Remains my.favorite restaurant in Denver.
We celebrated our anniversary here, and the food was excellent, as was the service. Not a cheap restaurant, but perfect for our special occasion.
I went there last night to propose to my girlfriend. The managers were so accomodating and gave us the best seat for the perfect setting. the ambience is amazing the food was fantastic and the customer service was top notch . The manager I spoke with to make my reservation made sure we could have tables on the patio. Highly recommend this place for everything it has to offer! Perfect evening with great food and the patio outback is the perfect atmosphere. I will return every year on that date to celebrate such a wonderful evening I cant say enough positive about this restaurant its perfect! More...

Delicious! The burger was so well seasoned and cooked. The way they make the fries is good. That was my favorite part about the meal. My lady said she really enjoyed the French toast (goes by a fancy name, which is cool). Plus the environment is chill and calm. Love the aesthetic and the waiters. Definitely hope to go back before moving. I recommend someone try it at least once. More...
The food was excellent, including a vegetarian entree made of chickpeas and fresh vegetables. Good drinks. We went once as part of a private party, though when we tried to return another night there was a long wait, so reservations definitely recommended.
Frites are addicting
This is a great French restaurant in the Square. Has that feel of a family restaurant and the food is very good. Service was great and the wine list is pretty extensive you will need to look through to find the right price bottle for you.
Steak frites are best in town.
Great meal and service. Got lucky and was able to eat outside. Started with a complementary Vichyssoise - really good. Also enjoyed some fresh bread. Had mussels as an appetizer - the sauce was fantastic. For the main, had the classic steak frites. The frites were amazing. Service was great throughout. More...

French, French, French with mussels and frites, what more can I say. Love the place, and the food!
Very nice French restaurant that's a welcome respite in downtown Denver. Haven't had a bad meal here yet.
Went with friends to see a movie and have dinner. Excellent food!
Has been amazing Everytime we go there.Highly recommended
Outstanding meal. Well-paced, well served and well-executed dishes. I cannot recommend it higher.
This is the most authentic French food I've found in the greater Denver area. Their Steak Frites are my regular, but the duck and other entrées are delicious. The onion soup is wonderful, the pate is great, and they'll bring around an amuse bouche that will be amazing, I promise. Don't be afraid to have a full four to five course meal! All of the deserts are well worth the calories.Dress ranges from Business Casual to cocktail, and expect to spend at least 90 minutes. The wait isn't long, but it's a leisurely dining experience. More...
Excellent food. Highly recommend.
The only reason I don’t have 5 stars is price. Like many places in denver at the upper end of the food market, they really push it here with their prices — particularly on the wine list. THAT SAID:This is a fantastic restaurant and amongst the best I’ve been to for traditional French cuisine. We had a very traditional spread, Moules, a cheese board, escargot and a roast chicken dish. No surprises - just well executed French food. Decor was a bit cramped but charming and service was attentive. Our reservation was ready for us when we arrived on a busy Saturday evening. Would recommend, just realize that it’s not value oriented. More...
Great food as usual! Definitely recommend.
My favorite french restaurant. They do it well in a relaxed but classic style. Definitely get the steak frites (specially the frites)!
Delightul place to have a fine dinner.
Good food, crowded, but service was quick
Best stesk and frites in Denver. Great bartender and awesome patio. Great for dates, groups, and family.
Disclaimer: I’ve only had the happy hour dishes so far, not a full dinner. I really like this place. The outdoor space, when weather allows, is very nice. The staff is helpful and just attentive enough without being clinging. The food can be quite rich, but is very good. Half price on glasses of wine during happy hour is a pretty good deal. More...
It was our first time there, and we absolutely loved the patio. The ambience was just perfect, it felt like as if we were somewhere in Europe chilling outside. We just went there for quick drinks, and I was a bit disappointed with my drink, but the waitress I believe her name was Brandy, was super nice. She asked if we liked it and realized I wasnt feeling mine, so they got me a new drink that was way better! That was kind of them to do. I enjoyed the hospitality, and the decor - lights on that tree are beautiful at night. More...
Great food and fantastic service by Adam!!
Delicious, lovely, quiet, wait staff were quite nice! Loved the French food and atmosphere!
Wonderful brunch. It feels like a little slice of France in downtown Denver. It's tucked away in a little courtyard, so you really don't feel like you're in Larimer Square at all. After more than 20 visits, I still find this to be the best restaurant in Denver. Consistently.New Chef Jen has taken the experience to a new level by introducing her Fois Gras Creme Brulee. Outstanding!
Really great location, food, and service. Best bloody Mary (Volga) and creme brulee.
A Denver Gem! Don't ever close or reinvent! Brunch and dinner is awesome! Frites are the best! Get regular jam for the kids though please.
Fantastic! Wow. Yum yum in the tum tum
I ate dinner here with a group of friends on New Year's even and had a great experience. We tried quite a few dishes. All of them were very good and some were outstanding! Previously I thought that I wasn't a big fan of mussels or escargot but both these dishes here changes my mind! They were both absolutely delicious! I've been having cravings for those mussels ever since (that sauce was incredible!). The escargot does come with a puff pastry, so beware if that isn't your style. We tried the duck confit which was also tasty, but didn't stand out as much as the others. I wouldn't order it again solely because I would dedicate all the space in my stomach to the other food we ordered! The other stand out dish was the steak frites. I ordered the Au Poivre style which meant the steak was rolled in green peppercorns. My steak was perfectly cooked as I requested and the frites, OMG the frites!! They were probably the best fries I have ever had! They are a little bit sweet and that flavor combines perfectly with the savory. They are incredible by themselves (which normally I'm not a plain fry kind of gal) but also were SO good in the aioli dipping sauce served with them. We finished off the meal with some tasty crème brûlée.The ambiance was nice. We were in an area that made it feel like we were dining outside on a street in France (while having all of the comforts of being inside a warm restaurant on a cold December night). There were only a few tables so it wasn't too loud and felt semi-private. I'm adding Bistro Vendome to my list of favorite special occasion restaurants in Denver! More...
The chicken crepe appetizer is amazing. Skip the stake and go for something with more flavor.

Authentic French, great food and ambiance.
A delight. You will feel warm all over if you dine here. And, the best wine list in town.
Expensive but worth it! Very good!! Small and intimate.
This Bistro was amazing! The food was absolutely stellar. My boyfriend, who is originally from France, said that it tasted just like the food he ate as a little boy. The atmosphere is very calming and it truly makes you feel like your are eating in un petit bistrot à Paris .I think that that means they truly nailed the theme. I would absolutely recommend this place for a nice romantic evening or even to just expand your palate. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality. I have definitely paid more for food that was no where near as good as the food here. More...
Great food summer patio feels like a mini French vacay

I went here on my 29th birthday with my partner. Their escargot is incredible!
Love this place! The food is always first class and the atmosphere is cosy.
Great food and service!
I took my wife to Bistro Vendome the Friday before Mother's Day, we always celebrate our holidays early or late to beat the crowds. I chose Bistro Vendome because of its reputation and because my wife and some friends had been there for brunch. We were not disappointed. The menu, as with most fine dining establishments at Larimer Square, was very inventive. The service was very good but not excellent. I have always preferred a single server rather than a water guy and a bread guy and an appetizer guy and Etc. I have sometimes felt as though I'm being attacked by servers rather than served. But that's just me... or is it? My wife ordered the scallops and I had the venison. Both dishes were excellent. Scallops are a particular favorite of my wife's and these were wonderful. Perfectly cooked, Fork tender and not a bit rubbery. My venison was served rare with a nice sear and a wonderful sauce. We opted for cocktails rather than Wine. The cocktails were excellent. The only hiccup in the whole evening was an appetizer I had ordered that was not available and a substitute was brought to me without foreknowledge or consent. I had ordered Boudin Blanc and the substitution was kielbasa. The kielbasa was very good and also prepared at Euclid House; a sister restaurant. Our overall experience at The Bistro was very good and I will definitely return in time. Bistro Vendome is high on our list for a return visit. More...
Lovely little restaurant with an amazing patio! The staff was very warm and friendly (bartender was awesome!)
It's decent, my only issue is they try too hard. In that sense, it's not authentic. Bread in a brown paper bag and sticky sweet frites...c'est du jamais vu. Good wine selection however, even Cahors, which is a rare treat stateside. More...

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service. The trout was amazing! A few things on the menu that weren't our favorites, but overall would definitely recommend!
Delicious! My husband & I come here for special occasions. Food is rich, but perfect. Leave room for coffee & dessert! Love the ambience inside & when weather is nice - patio. Staff are always so courteous & helpful. Take your time here, enjoy, be leisurely, & pretend you're in France. More...
Truly French Bistro in the middle of Downtown Denver. Beautifully decorated, it has cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
We came at about 4 p.m. and were pleased to find out that the happy hour started. For $8 only I had a really tasty grilled cheese sandwich accompanied with a glass of champagne.
It's one of my favorite places and I'll definitely be back! More...
Best restaurant in Denver. The food is always amazing and delicious, the atmosphere quaint and French, and the champagne crisp and perfect!
Great food, excellent wine selection, friendly and accommodating staff. An overall pleasant experience.
We've only come for the wine bar so far. We have not yet made it for food. The bar is a small intimate semi-circle, and we've stopped here for a break from the crazy loud bars or right before going to them. Each time we've gone the service has been amazing and the staff has left us with huge smiles!Casey and Missy especially are pretty amazing. :) More...
Great service and better food! My husband and I both enjoyed the Bouillabaise, and it was superb.
This place really is magical. Not to follow all of the 'you'll feel like you're in Paris' talk but it's true, this place is on a similar culinary tier as any solid Parisian spot. We had an awesome birthday celebration on a bustling Saturday night and felt taken care of the whole time. The French onion soup was fantastic and steak tar tare was complex and intriguing. Can't wait to return when the patio is open during warmer months. Pretty darn good cocktails as well, not to mention the mini French press coffee at the table. More...
Perfect French onion soup. Sit at the bar and just talk for a while.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of Denver. I worked with Marc Scott & my event was amazing. Everyone I invited had nothing but compliments. Thanks for making me look good Marc! More...
Cozy. Romantic. Delicious.
Amazing food and drinks. I especially recommend the mussles as they were super delicious.
Amazing. Great for a very special night out.
Best restaurant in town. And very affordable.
Excellent French food, great happy hour, and super cute.
We took friends here from out of town and it was one of their favorite parts of the trip! Great service and perfectly cooked meats. Also gave us a taste of a chef's special soup that was on the house! Great cocktails as well. More...
Good food especially for breakfast
one of my favorite places in denver. amazing ambiance service and food.
Great food and wine!
Get the French onion soup, it is amazing! Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Fantastic ambiance, great food, nice selection of cheeses. What's not to like? A personal favorite
Hidden gem on Larimer. Great for brunch. Wonderful french food and really great cocktails. When the weather is nice, we sit in the courtyard.
Absolutely amazing! Service was fantastic and the steak frites was the best steak I've had in a while. Pricing is a little high but well worth it for a great meal and experience.
I took my wife for a birthday celebration and had a very good experience. Enjoyed the cured meat platter as a starter, green pepper steak for entree and the creme brulee for dessert and it was all fantastic! The servers were excellent and the environment, though tight, was warm and pleasant. My wife received a gift certificate a glass of wine and dessert at our next visit. We will definitely be back for a future special occasion! More...
A secret hidden wonder of French food in Denver. Everything about this place is magical. The food, the ambiance, the location.
Atmosphere and Bloody Marys are both wonderful!
Fantastic French restaurant, with exquisite eats and top-of-the-notch service.
One of the only places that sell Calvados. Nice location
AMAZING food!!! Great ambiance!
Beautiful courtyard setting. Polite and efficient service. Excellent Eggs Benedict with duck confit and roast potatoes.
French food is becoming tougher to find around Denver. And it's easy to guess why! Bistro Vendome must be putting them all out of business. Haha! I lived in NYC for 10 years and fell in love with french kitchen there, but this place pleasantly surprises me every time. Cozy place, with a fantastic atmosphere. Staff and bartenders are fun and attentive. Food is just phenomenal. Can get a bit busy so make sure to make a table reservation ahead of time. P.S. I hear they play old French movies a few times a month. As soon as, the May schedule comes out I'm making a reservation. ;) More...
good solid french food.service was excellent. ambiance is pleasant and quiet.Duck was very nicely done.
Excellent service. Well prepared meals. Good wine selection.
Superb French Experience!
Great french brunch.
Great place for brunch. Delicious food served well. Got a kick out of the French fries
I ordered a chicken special and the meat was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious!
Very good food, stellar service
One of the best restaurants in Denver. Amazing food, great service, very nice and friendly people. Will definitely go back.
This restaurant was suggested to my friend and I by a Lyft driver. That day my friend & I were suppose to go to NYC for my birthday but due to weather we had to stay in Denver. After hearing rave reviews from our driver, we decided to make reservations at Bistro Vendome and ended up having one of the best dining experiences of our life! Bistro Vendome is just spectacular! The service and ambiance are both perfect and the food is amazing! The scallops were killer for it being February in Colorado. The staff was very knowledgeable & friendly and helped make our night very special & unforgettable. After dinner my friend and I could not stop talking about how we had a wonderful dining experience and did not even miss going to NYC! I know for a fact that I will definitely be back! More...
I heard this place was good for a "romantic celebration" and I was not disappointed. We sat in a quiet, cozy corner and were treated to a delicious meal that matched very well with the bottle of wine our waitress suggested to us. I can't wait to go back so we can enjoy their outdoor seating. More...

Great atmosphere, service and selection of menu items.
AMAZING!!!! We held our wedding reception and daughter's naming ceremony dinner with BV and it was PERFECT!!! From the start the restaurant maintained great communication with us and helped us plan our ideal dinner. They were welcoming and so delightful to work with. The wait staff addressed my daughter by name and treated her with as much respect as they did us. We couldn't have been happier with our service. Now the really AMAZING part...on top of the high quality service we received, the food was mouth watering! Everyone knows the wedding couple doesn't get to eat...well, I cleaned my plate with every course! Our guests couldn't stop raving as well and were so complimentary of every dish served. The kids in our party ate it all too! What more could you dream of?! Thank you to BV and the staff for sealing the deal on our very special occasion. More...

Food was very good. We ate at the bar for restaurant week. The Escargot was excellent, we paid for the addition of the Steak Frites, also top notch. Our bartender Jason was excellent. Charming and knowledgable. All around a great time. Happy we went. More...
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday because he mentioned to me to me one time that he loved french food. He's been to Paris and thought the food at Bistro Vendome was spectacular. We went on a Monday so we were treated to a 50% off bottle of wonderful wine. The waiter, who could second as a Sommelier, chose a beautiful wine that paired nicely with both our main entrees. We began with complimentary cups of Tomato Basil soup (scrumptious), followed by an appetizer of perfectly prepared mussels in a buttery sauce. My boyfriend had the Caille aux Amandes et Brie (Quail stuffed with Almonds and Brie) and I had the Roquefort Steak Frites with Port Reduction. What burst of flavors - intense flavors. It was my boyfriends birthday, so the waiter brought over a complimentary Passion Fruit Entremets. Exquisite! This meal was one of the best I have ever had. I will gladly return and tell all my friends to visit Bistro Vendome on Larimer Square in Denver. More...
Four stars for the ambiance, crepe appetizer and half chicken ( which was amazing). Also, the alcohol selection was nice and the banana crepe desert was yum yum. My boyfriend got the steak and frites which you SHOULD NOT ORDER. The steak is a very chewy bad cut and the fries were average. The dish reminded me of Applebees, but cost 3x more. The food had good flavors, but the salt overload made us both feel ill for the remainder of the night. More...
Anyone who gives this place less then a 5 should be punched in the face. Period. I have had maybe one dish EVER (some chicken dish, which was ok) in the 10+ times I have been here that didn't border on orgasmic. Sure it's really busy during 5280, but that's your own fault for being a cheap twat. Every time I go anywhere to eat this is the bar I measure against, and it has never been surpassed, ever.Try not to be an idiot and get onion soup and steak, get the good stuff, Escargot, Duck Confit, Lobster rissotto, something exciting. You won't be disappointed. More...
We ate here with friends from out of state. Everything was excellent! They also had vegan and vegetarian options available.
Holy all that is good in this world. Service was phenomenal, and I can say "one of the best meals I've ever had" without a bit of exaggeration. I want so bad to like seafood/fish, I really do, but a lot of dishes I've tried I just can't stomach. Still, I try occasionally. The Truite à l’Oseille, I think, is made with black magic. Every last bit on that plate was gone. Our server was amazing, knowledgable, friendly, and very professional. The pistachio macaron almost did me in....but if I die, let it be from good food and good wine. What an awesome evening. More...
Great venue, well presented and laid out. Beautiful outdoor seating arrangement with baskets of flowers - very french indeed! My friend (cheers, Jess!) loves french onion soup, and thats what she got. She wouldnt say its as great as others that shes had, but for me, it was pretty good! I had the croque maman and it was well made. Portions are small for the American, and the right size for the french. All the food is delectable and its one of my favourite memories of Denver. The waiters are good with recommending wines to go with your meal, and you are usually seated pretty quickly - within 15 minutes of going there. More...
This is the most authentic French restaurant, maybe, in the entire state of CO. The food is classic and perfectly prepaired. The wine list of spectacular, and though 100% French, the wait staff is very knowledgeable, if you need a hand. Also, Sunday Brunch is one of the best in the city. More...
Never had anything less than amazing here!!
Really well prepared french cuisine with creative plating. The wine list is wonderful and the staff is very helpful and attentive.
Very nice setting and ambiance, service was great and food was amazing. Be aware that they really pack the dining room so if you want a quiet private place to eat, this may not be it. I love the bustling bistro atmosphere so I don't mind the crowd. I tried the pork benedict, it was awesome and the very best hollandaise I have ever had. Also the steak tartare beat Michel Richard for the best I have ever had. I will definately recommend. More...
I ate here one night when traveling on business recently, and was treated to a delicious dinner. It happened to be one of those special restaurant-hopping nights where many restaurants in the area were offering special menus for couples. I was alone, so I was concerned whether they'd give me a table. The offered immediate seating at the bar, so I took them up on it. I got excellent food service and attentiveness at the bar! The amuse-buche was yummy, and I had soup and risotto which were very well-made. Delicious food, reasonable price, and good service - what more could I ask? More...
