We recently had our older granite countertops replaced with quartzsite by the Countertop Company. We were very happy with the service from our initial sales visit to Jim in their showroom who helped us source the perfect colored slab, to fabrication where they worked with us on placing certain slabs in certain areas and "burying" a few stone imperfections in less obvious areas, to installation where the team was very professional and worked with us on the fly to make some slight modifications as I decided to quickly replace my stove top mid-install. The Countertop Company fabricated and installed my quartz countertops in my kitchen after another contractor had fallen through. Jim and Monica were very accommodating to my schedule, as well as friendly and courteous to work with. Rob and his son completed the installation and did an amazing job- I couldn't have asked for better. After the counters were completed I noticed that my dishwasher was wobbly. Assuming it was an issue with counter installation I contacted Jim in sales to get the matter resolved. Although I discovered that the problem was due to another company's mistake, Rob came all the way to Downtown San Diego from Escondido to make the 5 minute fix. The issue was taken care of days after I called.I wish I could clone the employees at the Countertop Company for the rest of the house. I can't recommend them enough- thanks!!! More...

Love the new kitchen Quartz countertops! Countertop Company did an awesome job starting with Jason helping us pick the right product and giving us an estimate. We were concerned that our Travertine back splash would need repair after demolition. The crew was so careful, not one tile was disturbed. They respected our property. Monica and Denise in front office kept us informed and helped us find a replacement sink at a great price. Rob took the lead on install and safely rerouted plumbing. Found this company through Yelp and I'm really glad I did. Had a small project of finding a stone slab to place on top of a steel table frame we already had and even though my project must've been small compared to others redoing their entire kitchens, I did not feel any less important at TCC. Randy was a dream to work with. He was patient and thoroughly explained how the process worked. This was great for me since I was completely new to the entire process. Monica was great with scheduling. This company actually calls when they say they will and actually arrives in the estimated window!!TCC was very easy to work with for me, a novice. These guys really made our experience a great one. The ONLY company in SD that could give us a HUGE one piece slab in quartz. The price was even super competitive with other companies. We originally went through IKEA but they limit what they can do for you so we got our $ refunded. They don't allow certain sizes, edges, etc. So we called all around and these guys made the whole experience easy and painless. WOW from star to finish the whole crew was on it. Jon came out made the template perfect then I went in to meet with Jason to pick out the slab he was really helpful with options and pros and cons of each style. The installers showed up rite on time and got started there were a few things we did not realize we did not have from removal of our old sink and countertop set up but they made it happen installed in about half a day. TCC did a quartz island countertop for us about 8 years ago. It was time for the rest of the kitchen to be done, so we dropped in to TCC on a Saturday afternoon. They welcomed us and Jorge took all the time in the world to review styles. No rush, no pushy sale-just care for what we were looking for. We found Quartz and splash tile, and Jorge drove out that day to do initial measurements. The install was really quick - one week from template to completed install (including splash). Jorge was available by text and phone at all times and he always responded within minutes to any questions. Celine in the office was wonderful to work with regarding billing and invoices. When there was some correction to do on a window sill, Bob was out quickly and it was repaired quickly. Truly, it was a wonderful experience. Jorge and TCC made us feel like we were their only customers. Service was fantastic. Remodels aren't fun and we were going through a huge one. Right before we listed our house on the market we decided that we needed to redo our countertops and paint the cabinets. I called Jorge at The Countertop Company. This review is long overdue! We had a wonderful experience with The Countertop Company from working with Jorge, the countertop fabricator(s) and fabulous installers. Jorge was patient with us and our many questions and concerns we sent his way. He was always available by phone and email. After doing our countertop material research, we decided on Soapstone. When we were ready to pick out our 2 slabs for our kitchen, Jorge sent us to a place just minutes from us in Mira Mesa. Very convenient and easy. They had a good selection. We reserved our slabs and Jorge took care of the scheduling for the site measuring, fabrication and installation. Our Soapstone countertops were installed in February, 2016 and we love them!!! A long overdue review but we could not be happier with the work that the Countertop Company did for our kitchen, bathrooms, and bar! It's been just over a year now and I am still in love with how everything turned out. We wanted to replace our kitchen countertops and also drop down the raised bar countertop so it would be all one level. We had a quote done from Costco, which was pretty expensive and we were going to have to find another company to do the demo work on the raised bar countertop. I contacted Jorge at the Countertop Company and he was able to email me a quote based on measurements I sent him. Our original quote came in way under the Costco price and they would be able to do the demo work on the raised bar so we set up an appointment to pick out the countertop material. We already knew we wanted quartz and just needed to pick out the color and the backsplash we wanted. With Jorge's help we were able to pick out some amazing materials and didn't realize we could use the extra material to also put new countertops in our bathrooms. We were due for a bathroom remodel so it worked out perfectly! We even picked out a remnant slab at a great price for our bar area which totally transformed our living room. With all this added material and work I think the total cost became even with our original Costco quote that only included a kitchen countertop slab. Way more for our money! Once the official measurements were done, the installation was scheduled for the next week. The countertops were installed on a Friday, backsplash tile on Monday, and backsplash grout on Tuesday. The crew that performed the work was very professional and did an amazing job and were very good about laying down floor coverings and cleaning up when they were done for the day. They also kept us very informed every step of the way. There were a few issues that came up during the install that they were able to fix and at a very minimal extra cost. The first was the pipe behind the sink that came up past the countertop height where the raised bar was. They told us ahead of time that might happen so it wasn't a surprise but it was an easy fix to cut the pipe down to the correct height. They had to cut a hole in the dry wall but they patched the wall and you can't even tell there was ever a hole there. The next issue came up when they were installing our kitchen sink. They discovered that the sink drain pipe was broken (our house was a rental before we bought it so we had no idea that the previous renters just used black tape to tape the pipe together). They said they would be able to fix it for us but unfortunately they didn't have the tool they needed for the job that day so it had to wait until Monday to be fixed. So if it wasn't for that issue, we would have been able to use our sink that weekend but that wasn't anyone's fault and we were so grateful that they brought it to our attention and were able to fix it for us at minimal extra cost. They were even able to accommodate our last minute idea of using an extra piece of slab on the wall edge. They took the measurements for us on the first day of the install and brought the extra piece back on Monday and installed it for us. Great products and even better customer service! When we began looking for countertops, we started with the big hardware box stores but a miscommunication and poor follow-up sent us elsewhere.  We looked at a couple of companies that advertise heavily but  their prices were sky-high, perhaps to pay for said advertising.  I then started making calls around Escondido.  In one morning, I called four companies.  The Countertop Company was the ONLY one of the four that called me back.  We drove out to the showroom which, although small, did have everything we needed to look at.  The staff was friendly and explained everything to us completely. The owner of the company came out to do our measurements and was very friendly and helpful.From the time we ordered to completion was less than 2 weeks.  When the installers arrived, they were very polite and thorough.  They completed the job in a couple of hours and cleaned up everything.  One of the gentleman stayed behind to explain care and maintenance.  Our kitchen looks great! Amazing service start to finish!  Jorge was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and then available the next day when I came to the showroom with my kids. He was very patient while I multitasked with kids and picking out countertop samples.  He was very honest about his opinions on different materials,too which I appreciated. The best part was the quote is completely customizable. Everything is detailed line by line so if you decide you can take care of something yourself, you can do that! He worked very well with us and even checked in weeks after to see how everything was!  The best part, demo and install were the same day!  Virtually no time without use of the kitchen!  That was what really sold me!
