First of all the food was delicious! We were 4 and ordered four different entrees (pasta, scallops, veggie pot pie and burgers and not a crumb was left. The ambience is classy, and the whole staff hustled to get everyone served before their 7pm showtimes. Great time ! We’ll be back More...

We had a special prix-fixe menu for New Year's Eve that was quite good although selection was limited to two each of starters and mains. One tiny cavil is the tip suggestions that came on the bill. Why are the percentages based on the food, the state sales tax and the provision for employee health care? The latter two items are quite extraneous to what I came to the restaurant for. What is the logic of applying a tip to those items? If you were eating in Oregon (no sales tax and no health surcharge), for example, would you tip extra because you did not have to contend with those amounts? Doesn't make sense to this customer. My husband and I think that Jason, the chef at Corridor is very gifted. The dishes we enjoyed on the New Years Eve fixed price meal was way beyond what one would expect on a chaotic evening like December 31st. I have consistently eaten food at Corridor that was definitely Michelin star worthy. Tasty, pretty and relevant dishes are served by pleasant, intelligent servers who are proud and enthusiastic about their job. What a treat! The mushroom risotto was superior. I also like all the soup they make and to top it all off, the price can’t be beat. More...

The service was great!. Everything was great. The food. The decor. The drinks. Even the bartender was in good spirits, which can be hard to find when places are packed with customers for NYE. Our server was very knowledgeable on the food. The cheese baguettes were burned. That was the only thing I can say wasn't good. I could hear chef Ramsey's voice yelling at them for not checking them before sending them out. Cause they were BURNT. I could have said something. I know. BUT! Everyone was so nice and everything was great. They were super busy and didn't feel it necessary to bother them when they are that busy. I will be returning though. I want those cheese baguettes. But not so crispy. :) More...

Found this place on Yelp while walking down Market and thought to pop in for lunch. We came in at 2pm on a Monday and were met with a shortened midday menu they have from 2-4pm. We were initially a little disappointed at the smaller menu but decided to give it a try. We ordered Da Burga and the Bolognese and were pleasantly surprised! The burger was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The Bolognese was perfectly seasoned and had a nice portion of burrata that complimented the zesty red sauce. Glad to say that we were not disappointed when we left. The food was great! The only reason why it did not get 5 stars was for the fact that the barista closes up shop midday so we could not order any coffee drinks. More...

I brought my boyfriend here for a birthday dinner before we caught a Hamilton show at the Orpheum Theatre. Made a 5:15 reservation, which was exactly enough time for us to have a good leisurely dinner and cocktails. We ordered a squid ink pasta dish, the monkey bread, and the truffle chicken; all of the dishes were excellent and huge (we couldn’t finish!). Cocktails were also superb. Highly recommend for intimate dinners (especially if you get seating upstairs)! More...

Food: TastyAtmosphere: RelaxingMost annoying thing: THE HIGH CHAIRSI am 5'3 and my team of various heights all had a hard time getting into the chairs. Imagine a monkey trying to climb a tree. It was a work dinner for 8 and a raining night  it was good that we still got a table as we were late for our reservation. We ordered basically all the apps and entrees (small one page menu). The falafel was soft inside and Crist on the outside. The calamari body was fried and the legs were sauteed in butter. The meatballs were good but the sauce was amazing. The monkey bread was good, but I would having more garlic in it. I got the steak which had a pepper and leeks, along with three other people at my table. It was good as it was a good medium rare. The chicken was good too, but nothing amazing. I heard from my co worker that the veggie pot pie was good and seared scallops was amazing. Since it was a work dinner, I did not have to pay, prices are decent, little pricey with booze, but worth the visit. More...

Arrived a few minutes early for our 5:45 pm reservation. We were promptly seated upstairs. Even though the restaurant was relatively empty, we were seated at a counter and not a table (there were a couple of empty tables for two available). Even after 40 years, I still like to look my wife in the eyes as we dine out. Additionally, the chairs were not very comfortable. Other than that, the food and service were great and we had an enjoyable meal. But at the end of the day, when I spend $200 (with tip) for a meal with my wife, a table would be nice. I guess I could have asked to be reseated, however, they also could have asked me if a counter seat was alright and given me a choice. No big deal, but it's definitely something I would think about before returning. More...

Corridor is on Van Ness and it's got a New American restaurant ambiance. We had an alumni gathering with 50 people. I met some people again at this event and it was decent food venue. This spot is pretty new and maybe less than 5 years old. We had salad, pasta, risotto, french fries, meatballs, garlic bread, and a nice array of dishes that was enough food to have an appetizer dinner. We had two drink tickets and I got a lemonade and a green tea mojito. It was a good space for our food event. It was a mixer for the Weekender in San Francisco...an old San Francisco tradition for USC alumni. I saw some people again. The service was nice enough. They have a Traditional and New American menu that is somewhat pricey and not a long-term sit-down restaurant. I don't know if this is my first choice for this style of food. It's right near Market Street. Maybe if you are going to the Symphony or Opera, you might visit this spot for a dinner. But I wouldn't vouch for Bill Graham or the Library haha. More...

This time, it was just a companion and myself for a pre-opera dinner. The noise was very energetic (loud), emphasized sadly by a lady next to me who was talking very loudly. My boyfriend and I visited this place this weekend, 11/9/19, during our SF trip. He had made reservations for  dinner. We got there a little before our table was ready, so we sat by the bar and I ordered my drink. I can't comment much on the liquor. I'm a beer lover, so I ordered the IPA on tap, which made me a happy person. It didn't seem too busy on a Saturday night, so I'm sure you could do without a reservation, buuut if there's an event nearby, you may want to save yourself the wait. They offered us a table downstairs, but we opted to wait for our table upstairs, which I did enjoy a bit more. It seemed more private, which was nice.We started with the spicy meatballs. It was a small starting plate, but just enough for us to share. It had a few meatballs, cheese for garnish and a nice sauce. The meatballs weren't very spicy, but they did have a good kick to them. I ordered the Garganelli Bolognese. I'm normally a burger and fries person, but I wanted to try something different this time and go with a pasta. Different, but good. Definitely a filling meal. I had a good portion to take home still. My boyfriend ordered the steak, medium rare, definitely a good choice. No, it's not a steakhouse steak, but it was flavorful none the less.Service was great..our water glass remained full and they checked on us periodically through dinner. I wouldn't mind a second visit before a live music over at Mr. Tipple's. More...

I was dining alone before a concert at SFJazz, and I was seated as soon as I walked in. The waiters were courteous and prompt. I had the roast chicken, and it was very good. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five was because of my martini. It was made well-enough, but the glass was relatively small.
