First it is important to know what is a 'great accountant'. A 'great accountant' is one that not only knows the GAAP of accounting but the software in which is used, the industries involved, and the expectations of all parties encountered. A 'great accountant' goes above and beyond what is expected of him/her. Thus, hiring a 'great accountant' is important because with him/her comes a plethora of knowledge that exceeds mere accounting.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that I work for myself, can help various businesses achieve their dream, and can fully put all of my skills to work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My mother; she started her own business in her 70s and I started doing all of her bookkeeping. I found that I was good at finding her the right accounting software, setting it up, and getting it to where she did not have to do much with the accounting and could focus on her business. So, I thought that I could do that for a lot of businesses.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I am a 'great accountant'. I have won numerous customer service awards in accounting. Being the 'back of the house', it is almost impossible to be recognized for customer service unless you are a 'great accountant'. To this day, I strive to be more than just an accountant; I want to be able to help businesses gain customers, advantages, sales, or whatever it is that makes that particular company's dream a reality.
