I booked make-up artist, Noe Flores, for a glam look nearly a month in advance through his preferred booking app, Styleseat.
The night before my scheduled appointment, Noe text me and said he'd be cancelling my appointment through the app because they were going to take a large portion of the payment (I now realize he did this because he had no intentions on showing up and he did not want a negative review on his profile). He verified my appointment was still confirmed and that he'd see me at the studio the following morning. I arrived 5 minutes before my 10 a.m. appointment and around 10:06, he text saying his ETA was 10:16. At 10:53, fifty-three minutes after my scheduled appointment, Noe had still not arrived, nor did he communicate anything about his excessive tardiness. I text him saying I was leaving and requested my refund for the $50 deposit I made - I still have not received those funds.
Noe did not offer an apology, nor an explanation as to why he never showed up. When I asked for a recommendation for another artist (my baby shower was scheduled for a few hours later), he ignored my text. His behavior is unprofessional, unacceptable and future clients should be warned. It is clear Ms. Flores lacks professional integrity and shows absolutely no consideration to those who hire him for his services. Instead he chose to leave an 8-month pregnant woman with no options on the day of her baby shower.

I drove to Houston to take the pro II class, and it was amazing! Alaina is so talented and sweet. She is a great businesswoman and was extremely helpful with tons of tips, not only makeup wise but how to run a business as well. I learned so much from her in only three days I can't even describe. She is so positive and explains everything I'm detailed to make easier for the student to grasp the concept of its needed. I left the course with a different mindset every day that I can conquer every challenge that the makeup world will throw at me, along with my journey. All that thanks to Alaina! I had my wedding party makeup completed on site. The studio was clean and convenient. We were able to bring breakfast and mimosas. There was a fridge in the back to store the champagne. We were also able to get dressed here. I was able to bring my own licensed hair stylist at no extra charge. We were given the room that was sectioned off from the rest of the studio. Alaina and Ronnee serviced me and my bridal party. Alaina completed my makeup. Alaina was one of the 1st vendors I chose for my wedding. I KNEW I wanted her. She did not disappoint. My makeup lasted the entire night. She is very attentive and she made me feel comfortable to request any changes or dislike (which Is a plus for someone like me). I wanted to request her 1 year out but she only allows for up to 6 months. At the time I booked (6 months exactly) she already had inquires for my date. Amazing! This place is beautiful, clean, and the artist here are the best I've seen in Houston thus far. Ronnee has like magical hands or something because she made me look like a real-life doll, and I don't mean too much. ....I mean I looked fabulous, classy, and my skin looked like perfection. She was timely, professional, and really took the details of what I wanted seriously enough to make sure the outcome was even better than what I wanted.
