I recently lost my bother and reached out to Colonial Flower Shoppe to create an arrangement for his funeral. Deb was so amazing to work with, and with her calm soothing voice and demeanor, made the heartbreaking, uncomfortable experience, well,. .... comforting. She reached into my mind and heart and created the most amazing arrangement for a funeral that I have ever seen! She encouraged me to bring things to her that she could incorporate into the arrangement. So many comments from people on it's beauty and uniqueness! She is a calming soul with tremendous talent! I did not want to purchase hanging annuals for my porch before my vacation on 7/4/2018 because I had no one to water while I was gone.  I had to wait until I returned on 7/10/2018 to purchase hangers which is very late in the season for them.  I went to every garden shop in Enfield and East Windsor looking for decent flowers and everyplace was picked over  and what was left looked very scraggly, unkempt and unhealthy.  I decided to try Colonial because of the beautiful mums I had purchased there in fall of 2017.  The hanging flowers are beautiful and healthy, I had a hard time deciding which ones to take home.  The woman working outside was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.  From now on Colonial will be my first stop for flowers.  I noticed a review said the prices were high but I found the opposite.  Superior flowers for the same price as other flower shops maybe a couple of dollars more.  I don't mind paying a little more for vibrant and healthy flowers. I received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from my son for Mother's Day 2018. Â He lives in Philly and called the 1-800- florist number to order the flowers. Â The flowers that were delivered came from Colonial Flower Shoppe in Somers CT. Â I had to call the shop to let them know how pleased I was with the arrangement and to find out who created the bouquet. This bouquet, created by Debbie, was an incredible array of beautiful, bright, fresh flowers. I will definitely use this florist in the future. I can not thank Deb and her team enough for the beautiful work they did for our wedding two weeks ago. She worked tirelessly for months to make everything perfect. She took my ideas and ran with them, paying attention to every single detail. The majority of compliments we got on our wedding day were for her flower arrangements and decorations. The flowers on the cake, the garland and candles on the head table, each beautiful centerpiece filled with flowers and fruit, the ceremony backdrop, it was all better than I could have ever imagined. Deb and her team made our wedding an absolute fairytale dream. The planning was easy, the delivery was prompt (thanks Leslie!) and the end result was better than I ever dreamed. I went to Colonial Flower Shoppe for my wedding flowers and was beyond impressed by both the price and the quality. I received numerous compliments from my guests, and Debbie only charged me half of what I was prepared to pay. She welcomed both my mother and me into her own kitchen -- complete with plenty of refills of coffee-- to talk about all the details and was filled with suggestions of both how to improve the look and how to keep the costs to a minimum.
