For what it is, they do it well. Collector's Choice Restaurant, or CCR, does a great job of offering comfort food with friendly service. I do think a few of their dishes are overpriced for what you actually get-the fancy French toast comes to mind. Also, I'd be lying if I said they were able to accommodate my dietary needs very well. However, when I'm feeling nostalgic, this place hits the spot. Their waitstaff understand that coffee cups and water glasses should never be empty. In addition, their booths and chairs are extremely comfortable. Plus, you get are gorgeous view of the water (or at least the trees). Did I mention the pie? You really need to try their pies! This place can get incredibly crowded on weekends, even with the enormous floor plan. However, I believe that they do take reservations for large groups and can even partition the rooms for special events. There is a lounge (think locals playing BINGO) and a brew pub (loud and filled with folks on weekends). I know that they offer live music (blues), karaoke and comedy. However, I have not been present to speak to those. Bottom line, if you are looking for a slice of Americana, this is the spot. If you need or prefer health food, maybe  not so much. More...

Yummmy! We wanted to try something new today, and were not disappointed! The service was a little slow, but how couldn't it be There was one waitress helping the entire bar section! She more than made up for with friendless, she made sure to check on us soon after our food had come! This to me is huge, few servers do this and it's so critical! (What if I don't like my food, then I either don't eat it or eat the whole thing and complain at the end and the server is mad I ate it all, yeah I was hungry and though I didn't like my food I wasn't about to track their server down) The food was delicious! I had a 1/2 monte cristo sandwich with country style potatoes, the man for country fried steak with hash browns and the best white roasts I've ever had, it was so fluffy and soft! What a great place to eat. Big portions good service and lots of room.  When your in old town Snohomish your not going to a new building. This old school mall lets the owners space out the tables.  Breakfast menu has everything you want. I had the low/no carb breakfast and as advertised no carbs.  View of the Snohomish river from some of the tables. Waitresses on top of service. Wish this place wasn't 1100 miles from home. This place was recommended to us by our Air BnB hosts as their favorite breakfast spot. It did not disappoint! I got the Tuscan Scramble with a biscuit. Oh wow that biscuit!! Soft and huge! I didn't expect the beautiful biscuit it came with. My boyfriend got the special Prime Rib Omelet which was meaty and delicious. Although I grew up in Snohomish, I never ate at Collectors Choice. On a recent visit to my hometown, I decided to switch things up from my usual locations on First Street and try this local favorite. I must say that I was impressed!First, I called ahead to confirm that they'd be able to accommodate a small group. While they don't accept reservations on Sunday mornings, they did say that I could call the restaurant to add our name to the list before we arrived. I gave them about a 15 minute heads up and the table was ready shortly after the first people in my party arrived. The menu is expansive and I had a hard time narrowing it down to choose an entree. Ultimately, I ended up going with the turkey melt with fries as I'm a sucker for a good melt. And oh boy was it delicious! The perfect ratio of meat to cheese to bread. I asked for a side of ranch to dip my fries (which were seasoned, much to my delight!) and the ranch was so tasty that I ended up dipping my sandwich in it too. I could only manage to eat half but the sandwich did reheat well the next day for breakfast. My vegetarian boyfriend ordered a veggie omelet and commented that it was definitely better than another place in town that we tried last year and didn't care for at all. More...

I've had my eye on this place for a while. I heard it's a nice neighborhood bar. I finally got myself over there during the January Monthly Blues Bash. The bash was awesome! The bands rocked the house! We ordered burgers and fries with some nachos to share. They seemed a little short staffed for a large event like the bash but the servers were troopers through it. My wife and I stopped into Collectors for a beer and light snack.Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Credit cards are accepted. Upon entering, one can view and purchase desserts from the dessert case.My wife and I opted to sit in the bar during our visit. Happy Hour is offered in the bar daily from 3pm-6pm.  The bar is quite large with a few pool tables, TVs and stage/dancing area. The bar itself offers a broad range of hard alcohol and an extensive draft list.While Collectors showcases local breweries beer, Collectors also is a brewery itself. Collectors brewery is called Old Man Brewing.My wife ordered a Odin's Gift for $4.75 (hh) and I ordered a Three Bull IPA for $5.50 (hh). I was tickled to be able to get Three Bull on draft.For a snack we shared the Loaded Potato Skins (qty 4) for $6.09 (hh): cheese, green onion, bacon and sour cream. First time visiting for lunch today. Took my two toddlers and ordered their lunch off the kids menu. My one year old had the kids pancake which was huge and came with bacon on the side for under 2 bucks! My three year old got the spaghetti which was a generous serving with two large pieces of garlic bread. They both enjoyed their meals. I had the Reuben which was pretty decent. First time here had the German sausage breakfast surprised me to see it on the menu not many places serve German sausage. Browsing the menu this place has regular breakfast but also puts a twist on it . Example a chicken fried steak bennie.  I personally have never heard of that. My friends had gone for their giant bloody marys a few weeks before and raved about how delicious they are.  Im not a bloody mary fan, but my friend who didn't like them until trying this one talked me into it and I thought well shit why not.  The appetizers on top were pretty tasty. The bloody mary was strong and after the first sip I realized nope still not for me. Our server noticed and commented on how I hadn't really touched my drink. I explained it wasn't a big deal, I was there more for the experience.  But he was not having it. Next thing I know he's making his way over with a mega mimosa, said he wasn't going to let me leave without the buzz I'd paid for. We have been here twice so far and seem to come back every time we are in town. It's one of the oldest places around and we really like their food. The service is hit or miss. The first time we came was for dinner last year with the family and this year we did breakfast. Yum!! I think I like their breakfast way better than I do their dinner. We ordered the Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich, waffles with eggs and bacon, and the breakfast sandwich with bacon. I of course, had their Bloody Mary which was amazing! Have them add a slice of bacon to it and don't you dare let them tell you they don't do add bacon. THEY DO!Definitely a place to come with the family to either have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I love this place!!!!!My husband and I ate once at their old location and I have to be honest and say that I wasn't really impressed with it. But fast forward many years - they are at a new location and it is a totally awesome place to eat it!!!I must praise the bar!!!  At the old location the bar was small and cramped.  This new bar is gigantic.  Every bar has regulars and I was impressed by the numbers of regulars that there were there the night a group of us ate.The food is excellent!  I was with a group of over 20 people - just about all of us ordered something different.  I listened to everyone's appraisal of their meals and not one person had anything negative to say about either the food or the service - it was all praise.The wait staff is awesome - so kind and caring.As I was leaving, I asked the young lady at the front desk if there was a menu I could take home so my husband could see the kinds of food served there.  She spent about 15 minutes finding me as many menus as she could.  I was quite impressed with her friendliness and willingness to help.  I most definitely will be going back here to eat again.  I wish I could give it a 20 star rating.Blessings to all at Collector's Choice. My guy and I came here for breakfast yesterday; we have been wanting to try breakfast here for a while, and today we made that happen. We arrived around 10AM there was a 10 minute wait for a table which seemed reasonable. Once we were seated, our waitress took our coffee order and brought us water instantly. We got our food in a very reasonable amount of time; considering how busy it was. My man friend got the chicken fried steak hoping to recover from the last experience. I was delighted to hear that he did not have any complaints. This is a rare occurance. I got the veggies scramble as an omelette, it was amazing. I have only been for breakfast and once for a show in the evening in their venue space/barThe breakfast is fantastic, great omelettes, biscuits & gravy, eggs benedict. My son loves the strawberry pancakes. Very large restaurant that seems to stretch on forever! There are so many different rooms you don't realize are there, so even though it's quite large it does not feel like it till you wander around. I like looking out over the river.They have a small lounge towards the front, and there is also another larger bar with stage where they host performances. Front desk lady was little snarky at first but after that service was on point.  We all got lunch, tuna melt, patty melt and the steak puts.  Steak was cooked perfectly.  Daughters potato salad homemade and was delicious and so was the chowder and the tarter sauce.  Everyone was happy with their food and the cocktails.   Would do again, always forget about this place and will have to remember for next time!
