I started taking Private lessons from Nicole to help my mobility and strength (super weak) so far it's been 3 months and I've improved so much that I started taking the group classes as well and working a bit harder in my one on ones! All the employees I've met are so nice and helpful and you don't feel bad or pressured when you can't do things or aren't as fast. Amazing instructors and allows everyone to experience pilates with their different price points
I am a recently retired firefighter/paramedic and my body is really beat up. I have I had a level 3 neck fusion and back surgery. I also have nerve damage in my arms and some other issues. I've always done really hard core workouts but obviously I can't do that anymore. I found Club Pilates through my bodywork practitioner,Dennis. He also teaches there. He is fabulous! He recommended I take the intro class (which I did, and it was great.)It just teaches you the basics so you don't feel like a complete idiot when you're in the class. I took my first Pilates class today and I love it. It's very easy to follow. You can adapt the exercises if you have an issue. I definitely can tell I worked out and I look forward to my next class. I am 70 years old and have been attending Pilate classes for five months now. The fact that there is a limit of 12 people per class allows the instructors to provide individual guidance. The classes provide great challenges but allow you to adjust to your own capabilities. I’m hooked!! More...

I've been going to club Pilates for about 3 months and I love it. Natomas has some great instructors...Particularly Tia, Amanda, and Vicki. All of these instructors are unique and knowledgeable . Tias reformer 1 class is a great starting point because it includes restorative and strengthening work. I'm very new to pilates and did not know what I was getting myself into. I took the free 30 minute introductory class couple weeks ago and was hooked. I took my first level 1.0 reformer class this evening and it was intense. Keep in mind that I am quite active, I go to the gym about 4-5 times a week but lifting weights is NOTHING like pilates. You'll get a good core workout and it works out your coordination and balance. Veronica taught the class tonight and she was an excellent instructor. She's engaging and very helpful. I loved how she talks to the students in the class and tries to get to know you! I will for sure be back for more with Veronica, need more instructors like her around. I took some private sessions at another studio to compare, but I really like the classes, the variety of teachers, and the overall friendliness of the studio. I started my journey with Pilates in June of 2018. I chose Club Pilates at Loehmann's because of the variety of excellent teachers and the many choices of classes from beginning to advanced as well convenient times. I can't imagine my life now without Pilates. I had constant pain in my hip and had issues walking. I am now pain free because of Pilates! I am down a size in my clothing and feel SO MUCH better - physically and mentally! The minute I walk through the doors I feel the tension of the day just drift away. By far one of the best workouts I have ever gotten! The classes are always differnet which keeps it challenging. After the wonderful customer service experience I got from Lydia and Melissa, I have to change my review from one star to five star. Shortly after I posted how upset I was Lydia reached out via a phone call and let me know how sorry she was about my unpleasant welcome at Club Pilates. She apologized that it happened and tried to make up for it by offering a free class. She was so sweet about it I took the offer and asked my boyfriend to join, because I still don't think my Mom would come back. She scheduled us with a Master teacher named Melissa who took us through a beginner class. Lydia also offered rental grip socks which we could use for our first time. Melissa was patient, smart, funny, and attentive. I am glad that I got to take a class with her as she was very charming and heartwarming. I would definitely take a class with her again. I also liked how Lydia didn't force the membership on us but shared the great deals that were going on for the month of August. Club Pilates - Redlands has become my "happy place". I was hesitant to visit the studio at first as I hadn't exercised in quite some time. I assumed I needed to have some level of experience or fitness level to be able to participate. Boy, was I wrong. Club Pilates in Redlands is fantastic! The equipment is supreme and the studio is clean. There are many kinds and levels of classes and the instructors are super knowledgeable and motivating. The staff are friendly and efficient. I have been taking classes since November 2018 having started with individual private sessions. I had a very painful hip condition and used these sessions as a form of physical therapy. ALL of the instructors helped me work through this and showed me how to modify movements when taking the classes. The pain is almost all resolved and sometimes I take 4-5 group classes a week. So it's been 7 months. I have taken all levels of classes and had the bliss of experiencing instruction from all of the regular instructors and subs too! I love the energy of Marylor's classes. I can't get enough of the push and challenge of Mary and Val's classes. Shawna's flow is invigorating. Nadia always pushes me harder and farther than I thought I could go! I also really enjoy the interaction with all of the clients of this club! Such great energy! Even on days when I feel so tired that I don't think I will be able to make it through class I always leave feeling like I conquered the world!!! After 7 months I no longer have pain from my prior shoulder injury. My back is stronger and now I am focusing on building core strength. I am completely addicted and after only a month I lost 18lbs. I have muscle and my body is reshaping. No more back pain or headaches. I really love Allie Simpson and Kimberly Glaeser! Allie will kick your butt at a 1.5 or level 2 class! She truly challenges my body! Take her morning classes if you can too! Kimberly is so loving and makes sure your form is accurate and her transitions are smooth. Both of these women help you to feel included, greet you when you walk in and truly seem to care about you as a person and your results. I am completely new to Pilates and I would get lost a lot in sessions. Yet, these women were patient with me no matter how slow or lost I seemed. I am not sure the other instructors provided that level of care and support. No one wants to feel left out. There was an instructor that yelled out I needed to pay attention and criticized me in public. She said it as a joke but I felt humiliated. An instructor should make anyone feel included. When you see instructors engage in conversation with only a select few members you wonder why you are paying high prices for low human care. Beware you will be charged for missing a class, for canceling a class, and you will be asked to leave if you show up ten minutes late. So, be on time, be ready to get addicted, select instructors that suit you, and once you go Pilates you never go back! The manager is amazing and truly took care of me and the receptionists are SUPER sweet! I don't know what I would do without their smiling faces! I do wish there were other instructors for the cardio classes and that they offered it throughout the week. I live for these classes and have rushed trying to get to my classes. I'm not one to post on social media but I highly recommend you join CP La Quinta! I've been a member since January and it's one of the best things I've done for myself in long time. With frozen shoulder for 3 long years, I'd just about given up on a cure. I came back from vacation 4 days ago Friday. So I decided to take a back to back class Saturday & Sunday, with a break on Monday (time constraint). Come Tuesday, my hamstrings and arms are super tight. Today I took Monica's Center + Balance class and it completely restored me to agility. My arm & leg muscles aren't tight anymore, though they're still a wee bit sore. Center + Balance is a new class to Elk Grove Club Pilates, and I am soooo grateful for the change. I go on strenuous hikes on the weekend so having this class available on Tuesday will do me a lot of good!! This place is right down the street from my house which makes it super convenient to get to for early morning sessions. I consistently went every week for a couple months and was seeing great results in my core strength and was actually starting to SEE my obliques developing! I was taking Tia's classes and she is just the best! Perfect combination of challenging us all without pushing too far and giving appropriate amounts of rest between bursts of hard work. I also frankly just have fun in her classes, I love her easy going style of teaching while maintaining a level of professionalism and knowledge. I trust completely in her abilities and always feel safe and challenged.Well I couldn't make it for a few weeks and was just doing my own abdominal work at the gym but holy smokes I could tell a difference in my low back when I wasn't going vs when I was. I am predicating my review with the notice that I am over 60 & somewhat lazy. So with that in mind let me say that Club Pilates has been an absolutely great place for me to be at this time. I admit that while I walk 3 to 4 times a week (3 to 5 miles per walk) I was lazy in not wanting to do any type of strength training whatsoever. Yes I know walking is good for you blah blah blah but the fact is, I have been walking for over 7 years & I have basically peaked. I wasn't losing weight & while my endurance is fine, my overall strength & muscle tone isn't. In short walking alone just wasn't cutting it anymore & I knew I had to do something else in addition to walking. Beside's these old bone's needed a pick me up before someone would have to literally "pick me up" off of the ground. I saw CP had opened in Bellagio Center so signed up for an Intro class, now being new to Pilates I was nervous as I expected to see the majority of people there with perfectly toned bodies & here I go schlumping in with toned calves from walking & that's about it. Well yes there are people there with perfectly toned bodies (who I very much envy) but I would have to say in the time I have been there, the majority of people I see are a mix of older/younger, thinner/not so thinner, toned/not so toned. Just a really comfortable group of people in all sorts of shape, size and age - so bottom line it's really a comfortable surrounding. Intro class was great, didn't realize how out of shape I was until my muscles were screaming at me the next day. Tina is a wonderful instructor who takes the time to explain the what & why of it all & willingly helps you with the technique & nuance's of the exercises & equipment. So yes I signed up with CP & have seen real results. The CP app is amazing & simple to use so I can book my classes in advance with the instructor I want usually Tina, I even took private classes from Tina that's how impressive she is.Now as to the negative reviews about cancelling membership etc. well all I can say is I find it suspect to blame CP because of a failure to read the contract at signing or even after the fact. When I signed up Michelle (very nice girl too) went over the contract with me in minute detail & I read it again that night at home, especially since there is a 3 day time frame in which to cancel. You have 3 DAYS for pity sake!!! It CLEARLY states in the contract the procedure(s) & guideline(s) for freezing &/or cancelling a membership - which part is not understandable? Now why wouldn't I read a contract in the first place, especially if they are taking money out of my bank account monthly, you bet I did! Secondly because of the failure to act accordingly does not "entitle" one to have the rules bent for their convenience. The other thing is to leave a negative review because one can't get into a certain class(es)? So you want to cancel that's fine, but again read the contract!!! When you can only have so many people in so many classes in so many days yes there is a possibility a class may not be available. I'm aware of this fact as anyone that looks at the schedule can see & plan accordingly, I try to book in advance according to my schedule. I may not always get the class I want & will "wait list" myself & sometimes I get in sometimes I don't. If not it's not the end of the world & I adjust, not that hard to do. The way I see it no one is responsible for another's shortcomings & therefore to lay blame elsewhere is both petty & irresponsible. If your interested in trying Pilates I highly recommend Club Pilates it's a great place to be. Oh & I recommend Tina too, awesome instructor with a great personality, so much so that you can still think kindly of her the next day when your muscles are screaming at you. As a matter of fact all the staff I have dealt with from the reception area to instructors have been genial, courteous & most helpful. I'm comfortable there, so much so I've recommended CP to others & will continue to do so. More...

Since joining I have had a few unfortunate incidents unrelated to my joining the club but I have had to 'freeze' my account on a number of different occasions. Laura assisted participants throughout the class, making personalized adjustments as necessary. The workout was mainly conducted using an apparatus called a reformer. This device allows you to do deeper stretches, while promoting strength and flexibility. This is a low impact workout and a great way to strengthen your core and other muscles. I waited some weeks to reflect about my experience here and understand the system of this kind of gyms.I read some good comments of this location and decided to get fully into the experience. Meaning taking the Intro class (just 30mins of basic basic stuff and chat with the Manager) and believing in them because you have to commit for 3 months at least. My first impression was that they were really underlying that they do not like cancellations. They shared that teachers get paid per attendant. I get that but the comment made me feel a huge commitment on defying since the beginning about my own agenda. I mean, things can change and I don't like the PT scheme of filling the whole month calendar and this was kind of that. People can loose a spot because everything gets so full days in advanced. But at the same time you don't know if they (or you) are going to make it :S I feel the pressure! I would like to feel more free and relaxed in a gym :(Memberships can be 4 classes, 10 classes or 15 classes (not so Unlimited as the name states. This was a shocker to me). You'll see benefits with 3 times a week :)The second thing I noticed was that Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Eventhough they didn't know about a promotion, they investigate about it and told me they were going to apply it but haven't seen anything yet :( Everything depends on each franchise. So maybe others move differently. I tried to take a class with each teacher. They teach on different days and some classes are just on 1 day of the week so that is inconvenient. But again, different franchises manage this differently. You could get into others' paying an extra fee.Teachers are very good and patient. Super friendly. Each focus on different things so you better define what you want to work in specific (footwork, stretching, for example). Of course they will know some students better and wilm pay attention to them but I think they will also be paying attention to everyone while walking around the room. I wish they could be more incisive with corrections though hahaha And you can always raise your hand to ask a question ;) Wish they could start classes super sharply. One thing I felt was that teachers would avoid touching your feet or legs (you must use sticky socks). Touching feet or sweat might not be a coup of tea but after being in different studios, I can tell you that best teachers will help you with postures placing your feet with at least a finger, nail, or sides of the hand. So if you're new to this technique, it can be challenging while lying down.I read in blogs about the atmosphere making a difference between yoga and pilates. My feeling is that this studio concept is a bit snobby. Starting with payment. Please don't take it wrong because it will depend on attendants and each class is different as they say :) Must say that the equipment is worth it if you get into advanced classes. My first Club Pilates class was a wonderful experience! It was an intermediate class taught by instructor Laura. The 50 minute total body workout went by fast. Laura assisted participants throughout the class, making personalized adjustments as necessary. The workout was mainly conducted using an apparatus called a reformer. This device allows you to do deeper stretches, while promoting strength and flexibility. This is a low impact workout and a great way to strengthen your core and other muscles. They offer a variety of classes, beginner, senior, jump, cardio... all on the reformer, with bar, TRX, Bozu etc mixed in Tia is an extremely knowledgeable instructor. She teaches M and W mornings and is amazing. She ensures that form is correct, that classes have variety, and she adapts to the needs of her clients! My favorite work out time is first thing in the am, (5:00 am)! It's a great way to start the day and get energized! If you haven't tried it, you should!Vicki is also outstanding! Pilates is wonderful, but at most places it is either the unaffordable private lessons, or lessons without the equipment. Club pilates--by having full-spectrum, wonderful equipment for a dozen people at once--and having wonderful instructors, makes the experience both perfect and (fairly) affordable. This is my first review on Yelp and I just have to say I wish I found this place sooner! I did the free intro class this morning and I absolutely loved it. I played water polo and swim in high school and was really fit but now that I've been in college while working, don't have much time to work out. I like doing structured classes like these and not going to an actual gym. Definitely worked on the muscles and I can't wait to get into it more! Every instructor here is great and makes sure you get a good workout! I enjoy the "Reformer Flow" classes which are a little bit slower paced but help me focus on form. "Cardio Sculpt" is a high energy class and you're pretty much guaranteed to be sweating in the first 10-15 minutes. Every instructor has their own style so I know when I sign up for Nicole's class I'll get something different than from Brooke's class, for example (PS: they're all great). I have an unlimited membership and have been going to class 3-5 times a week on average for 2 months now, and am still being introduced to new exercises. This helps keep me engaged and interested in my workouts. The only difficulty I have here is that it can be hard to get into some classes due to limited space. I don't mind though! I just try to plan ahead and can usually get in by placing myself on a waitlist if a class I want is full. They learn your name and remember injuries you have, so they cater workouts to your ability (and give you options if you need more or less of a challenge). I love Club Pilates in Valencia. The instructors are each motivational, careful and make working out fun. I was hesitant to pursue group Pilates as I had been spoiled by the individual attention in physical therapy. But I could not have been more wrong in my hesitation. I only wish that I had begun at Club Pilates sooner. The workouts are designed to accommodate a range of fitness levels. The instructors give correction to bad form throughout the classes and offer a variety of options to make exercises more or less challenging depending on what you are capable of on any given day. I joined Pilates La Quinta about a year ago. I go six days per week. Since I joined I have lost 27 pounds. I went from a size 14 to a size 10, from my extra large blouse to a medium size. I am amazed at my physical transformation. I used to have lower back problems, but not anymore. The instructors have made me feel really comfortable and the workouts have been great (I love cardio sculpt!). I have tried 7 or 8 different instructors and all have of them have been good and sensitive to different individual's injuries and exercise limitations. I started after going through 8 weeks of physical therapy for debilitating sciatica pain and I feel the Pilates classes have really kept my sciatica problem from recurring. I've met some really fun and supportive women who all share a passion for a healthy strong body! I am supported by every trainer employed by Pilates--they absolutely care about our health and fitness goals! I feel taller (haha! is this possible? Well, maybe it is!)Pilates has changed my body inside and out, my soul, my life--all for the better. I absolutely will never give it up because it makes me feel so good. Love this studio! I have a very long vacation before I start school again so I started trying out Pilates to get in shape again and I love it. I have been very sick and debilitated since my fibromyalgia / RA diagnosis after drunk driver took me out of commission in 2009 . I could not walk for a year and a half .Now 2019 I have had a left knee meniscus tear on my left knee and haven't worked out for soooo long .After 5 classes between Laguna Niguel Club Pilates and Mission Viejo locations I have done maybe 9 classes and my abs are begging to show through my fat belly and my legs are getting toner!This may be a financial sacrifice but it's worth my health with every penny .Thank you for your compassion , dedication and investment in such a great business ! Rachel is the reason I have kept my membership. Her classes are a bit more challenging than the other instructors and I appreciate that as there are not a lot of advanced classes. Taylor is so fun and full of energy, but sadly not on the schedule when I can attend. Stephanie is always so positive and upbeat with a fantastic sense of humor. My only negative would be the huge disparity between one level 1.5 class and another 1.5 taught by another teacher. I had a free intro class which was amazing. They went through the use of the Pilates bed and walked you through some exercises. Then of course gave you the rundown on specials and pricing. I loved the experience as I had visited another Pilates place and was never explained how the bed worked and felt " new". I love the Pilates program and after my first full class I can feel abs and legs had a great workout yet didn't hurt my joints or bones. I found Club Pilates on Yelp and took the free intro class last month. It was the perfect intro to the studio and pilates. The studio was really clean and felt just like home. Club Pilates is incredible! I was scrolling through Facebook and happened to see an ad for the place and clicked "interested" , the next day a very sweet lady phoned me to see if I would be interested in trying a free intro class. I gave her some information and received a confirmation text right away that included date, time, and a reminder to arrive 10 minutes early to register. I arrived for my very first intro class on a Thursday and purchased grippy socks from them for less than 20$ and sat on a machine they call a "reformer". I was a bit nervous due to the fact that my sister (a gymnast in her prime) and I used to do Pilates DVD's over ten years ago and I found them incredibly challenging and almost impossible. I followed the instructions Tina gave and found my core engaged and working the entire 30 minutes....without pain!!! I do attend the weight classes at a local gym 2 to 3 times per week and elliptical at least 4 to 5 times per week and could never quite engage my core muscles successfully. So after that class I chatted with the amazingly strong and cheerful instructor Tina about my goals and she assured me I would achieve them doing Pilates on the reformer with them. I signed up immediately for the "unlimited membership" ....which is quite surprising for me since i'm not often impressed or able to make a solid decision (especially any contract even if it's short term) without at least a day to think about "pros" and "cons"...but there I was saying "sign me up, i'll be here every day your open". I even gave up my membership of my oh so beautiful eyelash extensions for this place ya'll!!! So here I am 6 days later and 5 full classes in telling you that i've lost an additional 5 lbs and at least 3 inches in my waist even though I have not been to the local gym to run or lift!!! I am shocked and confused as to why I have never been sore but am noticably stronger and taller, and have lost a full pant size. When I take my weight classes, and run 5 miles on the elliptical I usually have quite a bit of lactic acid buildup and am sore requiring aggressive massage. I am impressed, and begging my friends, sisters, and church family to come and check this amazing place out!!! What do you have to lose, the first class is free!!! And if you'd like you could probably find grippy socks at any drug store or super store for just a few dollars (although the ones they sell at the store are SUPER cute). I love this place. I started right after the first of the year and have seen a significant difference in my body and mindset about fitness and what I should focus on. All of the instructors are fantastic and really care about your form and they make sure that you are doing each series of exercises correctly. This Tax Day represents the 18-month mark of my journey with Club Pilates. I have subscribed to the monthly unlimited membership since the beginning. My basic daily routine had since become: Eat, sleep, and Pilates in various permutations. Since my last review of CP @Assembly Row, more and more classes have been added to meet the growing demand. A level 2.0 class is now being offered. There was a little turnover of instructors, but the new ones are equally excellent, each with her own style. Two additional CP studios have opened in the north greater Boston area where I live. Looks like one more is in the works. I mostly go the studio near home. Sometimes I go the one near my job. Occasionally, I go to a third studio when other classes are full or when I prefer a particular class that better suits my needs. Having choices is great. I love this place! I've been going to Club Pilates for two months now, 3-4 times per week. At first it was very difficult for me because I was so out of shape, but the staff and other members were supportive and promised it would get easier as I got stronger. Two months in and I already feel like a new person. I was scheduled for a neck injection and physical therapy for my neck and back but since I've been coming here my pain has gotten less and I cancelled the injection. The staff and instructors are great. The small class size means the instructors can engage with us and make it a personal experience. I like that they offer corrections and really pay attention to our form. The studio is clean and the equipment is in great condition. The only thing I would change would be to put in changing rooms. There is only one bathroom and I hate monopolizing it to change before/after class. It's a little pricey, but on par with other studios and totally worth it. I highly reccomend Club Pilates! More...

Love Club Pilates! I've been coming for a year now...I still love it and learn new things
I have been a member of Club Pilates in the Bay Area for about 2 years now. This franchise is really great as there is a membership package that allows you flexibility to join classes at various locations.The set up is very similar among the various studios. My rating is based on experience with 2 instructors here in the SOMA studio that I've had the pleasure of working with - Derrick and Chez. They are both great instructors, very experienced and care about their students. For a long time, Derrick was the instructor in the CP studio near my home and I find his teaching flow and reformer machine workouts really suit me. I was not at the peak of health when I started, had flexibility and strength issues - but working with Derrick really improved that. Now, reformer Pilates is not really one that will make you lose weight quickly - not for me anyway. BUT, it helped me gain strength that improved my overall health and stamina. That then allowed me to take on other forms of exercises and activities to further improve my health and lose weight. Working with Derrick, I saw myself progress from initially having difficulties executing certain workouts to finally being able to execute them! it's an amazing feeling to see that. It does require patience, and diligence, and finding the right teacher that suits your need. Not all teachers have the same style.. for me, Derrick's flow is the one I like the most. Also, if you are already a bit "mature in age", or have had injuries, reformer Pilates is a great way to get back into fitness. This studio is my second home. I love it here; I love the workouts, the owners, instructors and the amazing people who attend the classes. I've made so many friends as well as benefiting from the workouts. I attend classes at least twice a day now that my core strength and flexibility has improved. I've lost 20 lbs since I joined and am much more toned- I never imagined I'd love my arms and have abs after 50! Lol. I get therapy for my hip/lower back and because I attend Pilates, I was told by my therapist that I didn't need to do their homework, as Pilates covers everything I need to do to help with my posture issue. I love the Flow 1 classes, which can still be tough, but do more Flow 1.5 and Control 1.5 classes (you'll work up a sweat from moving slowly!) I have recently started Flow 2, which requires focus, excellent core strength and coordination and being able to do specific moves (that aren't easy). I'm glad they didn't offer it right off the bat as one needs to graduate through the levels to improve enough to reach this level. I also do the Cardio (jump) and Cardio F.I.T. classes which burns more calories and works up a sweat. It's High intensity Interval Training and fast paced - reminds me of boot camp :-O . I noticed that a lot of people who like boot-camp-type classes or HIIT like this class but have also noticed that people who haven't done the Flow classes first, have bad form. That's why you want to do Pilates; to improve your form, your posture; the way you stand, walk, sit, breathe. Club Pilates is a franchise, and if you've been to other locations you'll know they offer beautiful studios with a wide range of pilates focused classes. The equipment is what excites me the most: in addition to reformer machines, they also have TRX, springboards, circle bands, pilates chairs, and lots of other fancy things to workout with! This studio is brand new, and the classes are great so far! I take a cardio sculpt class when I want a cardio workout and a flow class when I'm in the mood to tone. His classes really give you a full body workout, offering adjustments and modification to suit your level. Pilates, if done right, really works your whole body. I find that those who don't find it a sufficient workout are ones who speed through the exercises and not pay attention to the nuances of the movements. I can't say enough good things about this place.Firstly let me explain that I'm middle aged and terribly lazy. I took up yoga in my 40's to help with general flexibility and I really enjoyed it, but then I was introduced to Club Pilates in Redmond by a work colleague and it changed my life - seriously!! I signed up for 4 classes a month, changed almost immediately to 8 and now I'm unlimited as I enjoy it so much. I go 5 days a week and do several different levels.Why you might ask?, well from the very first day, I was blown away by the customer service. The front desk staff and instructors are friendly, sweet and awesome, but the instructors clearly know their stuff and push you without being like a drill sergeant. The equipment is actually fun to use and there are so many variations, it's never dull and the time flies by.I've tried almost all of the class types and am always impressed at how the instructors can give someone with a limitation or health issue a variation for each and every exercise.You will find a great selection of class types, levels and times to choose from and no matter what part of your body you want to work on, you will find a class for you. If your looking for a low impact, full body workout with an emphasis on your core then Club Pilates will work for you. If you have injuries. Neck spinal joint issues then club Pilates is a good option. I was 7 weeks postpartum when I first went to try them out. I was cleared by my doctor and was literally trying to find a fitness club to meet my needs and ease back into fitness. My favorite things were the reformer, the cleanliness and the instructors. This place wasn't a "judgy" atmosphere as some studios tend to be they were really sweet and accommodating as I really needed a lot of modifications.The trial class was like30 min it's not really a good grasp on what your getting into because it just you and the trainer and possibly one other person and it's fast, I actually had one other lady that was there for my free trial. Nonetheless I signed up $200 unlimited one month. They had some deal where there was no contract but normally you'd be tied in for 3 months or more. My first real class sucked as in I couldn't do some of exercises at all they involved a tremendous amount of oblique and core strength.. As I continued to go I improved but it probably takes most people at least a month to understand the equipment, figure out what instructors are referring to and be quick about transiting into the next segment because it can move fast. If your not already into the next exercise than your missing reps and time is ticking so I sometimes felt one side got a better workout because I was trying to figure out what to do. The only reason I stopped going was because of my commute it's just too far from my home now. They do not have childcare. They have an app your use to register for classes etc.Favorite instructor was Nadia but she usually only does super early classes and Brittany was also really nice and her classes flowed well. There is no loud music sometimes they have the radio on but it's hard to hear the instructor and follow if music was loud. Would be nice if they just played Pilates yoga type music in backround instead of 107.9 or whatever. More...
I love club Pilates. I have been going since the beginning of October. I have noticed increased muscle tone in my legs, arms, shoulders, abs, everywhere! I've also lost 10 pounds! This has been the only "workout" I look forward to. I love all the instructors. Each has their own way of leading the class. I am always greeted warmly when I come to class. I had been going to physical therapy for a hip issue. After coming here I have noticed a huge improvement in my hip! So much better than the PT! I am HOOKED on this place! My journey with Club Pilates started August 2018 with one class per week as I knew nothing about Reformer Pilates and was somewhat intimidated. The past few months, the studio expanded their schedule and I am now taking between 5-6 classes per week. What a difference this has made with my flexibility, strength and balance. It's been almost a year since I've signed up, and I can't remember the last time I felt more fit and healthy! I've lost my "muffin top" around my waist and feel strong and confident. My flexibility and posture has improved, too. I had never done Pilates, and while it was referred to me by my chiropractor as a great way to build a strong body - I wasn't sure whether it would be a good fit. I have found this to be a welcoming place with knowledgeable instructors who are passionate about helping everyone be their best selves. The owners also offer occasional educational sessions on health, helpful Pilates techniques, and fun fitness games that foster a positive community and friendliness. Amazing workout with very educated dedicated instructors.
I had a great experience here .I went in for their introductory free half-hour instruction to get acquainted with the equipment and what they do. Tina was the instructor and she was awesome and cheery and very knowledgeable. The girls up front were the same way. The machines are called reformers and they mix TRX with your training. They are Incorporated in the machines and easily reachable as you lay on the reformer. There are different springs's you adjust (as far as tension goes) if you are in better shape you can use less springs for more tension. Or jeez it might be the other way around ..You will need non-slip socks for the session they sell them there for 15 to $20 a pair so its best to bring your own in. Their classes are pricey but in my opinion worth it because of the reformers and instruction they are top notch and they maximize your workout and get you used to the correct form. They ask you to commit to 3 months because they feel that is how long it will take to see the maximum results. Every now and then they have specials running. This last one they gave you 10% off the classes and a $30 Visa card. You can either do 8 classes a month at 159.00 or unlimited classes for 199.00 for me that's a no-brainer. If you travel a lot they have a plan for 225.00 where you can go to all Club Pilates Wherever You Are . I guess they're a huge franchise. If you get the 10% discount on top of that it's not so bad to do the 3 months and see how you feel. They have a great website and are very communicative with their reminders for your appointment they send you texts which I appreciate. If you go to their website you can sign up for any class and they have quite a few. The only thing I have to say negative is there are closed on Sundays. I wish they were open because that is when most people are off and would like to work out. At any rate I will join this week if their special is still going or I will wait until they start a new one. 10% of 199.00 is 19 bucks off and it is a competitive rate with other Pilates places but their equipment is better for the most part. Being a beginner, I was very nervous that I would not do well, but that was not the case. The staff made me feel confident that everyone starts somewhere and I was doing just fine. The facility is clean and well organized. The instructors and staff are nothing but kind and patient and supportive. I love coming here after a long day at work!!!! Absolutely love this location! All the girls are amazing and even though their classes are relatively full, the instructors always make time to correct my form which I greatly appreciate. I've been to some Pilates studios and they could care less and it's so important to have the right formation when doing Pilates. After being a member for three months I have nothing but good things to say about this studio. It's impeccably clean, joining was pressure free, classes are easy to sign up for, everyone is warm and friendly. But what brought me to writing a review was my amazing Pilates instructor Tia Kilpatrick. She is so knowledgeable and truly teaches to the students in front of her. Her workouts are never repetitive and she gives everyone individual modifications based on where their body is at. After having two children my body has lots of quirks to work out to say the least. I have been a part of many gyms, workout groups and have had many physical therapy appointments. I have never felt as good leaving any of those as I do leaving Tia's class. She is a true professional, her knowledge of Pilates is second to none, and she will give you a great workout while making sure you don't hurt yourself. I love Club Pilates! It's the one workout I look forward to. My favorite class is Cardio Sculpt. It's the perfect balance of low impact cardio and sculpting exercises.
