Love this studio and the staff. They treat you like family, and that feels good...I don't feel like I'm just a number. They are so flexible and eager to make every experience a great one. I've been coming to club pilates since I moved to the area for about 8 months now and it has been an amazing experience. I love how they have such a clean studio with very new equipment. They also offer a variety of equipment and types of classes and instructors. Did unlimited for a few months so I've taken most of the instructors and Ricardo and Ruby are my all time favs. Would highly recommend to anyone living in the area to try out. I absolutely love Club Pilates! I have been a member for three years now. My doctor recommended Pilates as a way to strengthen my core and to thus alleviate back pain I had been experiencing off and on. I don't consider myself very athletic or coordinated, so I was a little unsure as I walked through the door, but the reception staff and instructors put me right at ease. I was able to select the membership level that worked best for me. The class schedule offered many options that fit my own schedule well. The classes are 50 minutes long, and the pace is great - we move from exercise to exercise but there are times for stretches or quick breaks, depending on what you need. I have grown so much in strength and overall conditioning. I look forward to each class, and I try hard to keep my Pilates time as a top priority in my schedule. I have enjoyed getting to know the instructors, who are all very qualified and helpful, as well as my fellow members. Club Pilates is awesome! I have been a member for 8 months now and take classes 4-5/week. Shawna is AMAZING and I primarily take her classes, however when coming to another class I have not been disappointed with any of the instructors. They have multiple class offerings throughout the day which is convenient, the location is great, and the class sizes are good. Classes fill up fast but I've almost always gotten in to every class I want even when wait listed. Front desk staff are always welcoming and facilities are always clean. Love it! More...

I joined end of August and I have been going everyday if I'm not traveling. I love the club I love the atmosphere I love the instructors. They are very caring they help you with your form and since I've been going there my knee, shoulder pain is gone and I'm much more flexible it's only been three months. I have a membership that I can go to any club when I travel and believe me I have used club Pilates La Jolla and it is nothing compared to what Pleasanton offers. A year and a half ago in chronic back pain, stress pain from my high intensity job, I said no no and no. I've been athletic all my life, I been about balance all my life. .. work hard, play equally as well. I took an introductory class and was sold that very first time. Although my back still has issues as it will the rest of my life... I stand taller than ever, i have boobs I never thought I had , I smile as usual and know that all of the phenomenal instructor mentors care about each and every one of us. It is their mission! Club Pilates has changed my life. Its been over 2 years. I went from a couch potato to feeling very strong, flexible and balanced. The teachers are the best. Each one has a unique style that adds to my practice but I do have my favorites, Tia Kilpatrick, Melissa DiDomenico and Kayla Hallman. I have had a few minor injuries (outside of pilates) and the instructors were able to help me modify what I was doing to avoid injury. I tend to take the same classes and I really value the other members who I see day in and out. They are always supportive and its not a competitive environment. I can't image giving up my membership. I absolutely love Club Pilates. Their classes are well structured, instructors are knowledgeable and fun, and equipment is always clean and in working order. They have a number of different classes for all levels and equipment focused. The price is a little high compared to other gym memberships but average for specialty gyms. Update 12/4/19: It's been almost three years since my first class and I don't see myself giving up my membership, unlike my regular gym membership which I dropped like a hot iron. I've taken classes from most of the instructors on the schedule and I have to say I love each and every one. Each instructor works you in different ways, hence working different muscles. If you're a beginner, it's best to take Tia's class because she really hones in on your form. Once you have the basics down, feel free to take a class from any of the instructors. I still take Tia's class on occasion to ensure my form is correct, and take advantage of any private session sales to get the most out of my Pilates workouts. I've taken private sessions with Melissa, Kellie, Kayla, and Cristina (who, unfortunately, is no longer teaching) and enjoyed every one of them. I ask them to push me and make me work on my weaknesses, and they make me work all throughout the session. Bring a towel because you'll be sweating like crazy.All of that work has helped with my running. I ran my fastest mile at 7:29. And last month I ran my farthest distance nonstop at 9 miles at a leisurely pace of under 12:00 per mile. I'm not fast, but those are huge accomplishments for me considering when I first started running four years ago I couldn't run a full mile and my mile time was over 13:00 for ONE MILE. My friend, an avid runner, says my times can be partially attributed to having a strong core - again, because of Pilates. I say my improved running performance is ALL due to Pilates. Now I'm sitting on my couch with my foot propped on a wedge because of foot surgery. I'll be out for at least six weeks and can't bear any weight on my right foot. Thank goodness for Pilates! Having a strong core helps me get around on my crutches easier. Using the restroom is also easier because I have to raise and lower myself on one leg. And putting on pants isn't a challenge because of the single leg bridging we do in class. I've still been doing core and upper body Pilates workouts at home since my surgery two weeks ago, but I can't wait to get back to class!So take my advice. Sign up. You won't regret it! (Again, just don't take my spot in class!)...........I really don't write Yelp reviews and I thought twice about sharing what will no longer be the best kept secret at Club Pilates, but here I am and I hope I don't regret it and can still get into her classes! Her name is Tia Kilpatrick. After my first class with her I finally achieved my first two goals of running a 5k in under 30:00 and running a 9:00 mile. After my second class with Tia I achieved my third goal of running a 5k with a 9:00 pace. I ran it with an 8:50 pace. I don't feel like I'm exerting extra effort to get those times, so it's gotta be the Pilates, right? In high school I ran 13:00 miles, and it was the same when I started running in August 2015. Never in a million years did I think I could ever beat a 10:00 mile, let alone the times I've been running lately. That last push I really have to credit to starting Pilates. Tia's instruction is very thorough while also guiding you to pay attention to your form. She gets technical, but not too technical, and she makes you work hard, but not in a boot camp instructor kind of way. I hope you check out Tia's classes, but please don't take my spot! More...

I was trying to find an exercise routine that will fit my mom and my schedule. We were very happy that we found CP-Cerritos. We love everything about this studio, from the manager, front desk, trainers, ambience, equipment! We are new to this type of exercise and the trainers are always very patient with us. They make sure we are doing Pilates effectively. My mom is very limited with her English but that did not stop the trainers from communicating with her. Every trainer has her style and each is great! We have gone to Jessie's, Veronica's and Cynthia's classes! Cynthia is always extra patient and kind with my mom. She is very detail-oriented and explains the purpose of each exercise. I love that! We also want to thank the front desk lady and Faira the manager. They are always sweet and helpful. I signed up a week ago Saturday and have been to 7 classes since then on the Unlimited Plan which is definitely the best value! I can't imagine only coming here once a week. Coming 3-4 times per week is definitely doable because you can walk right into the class that you're scheduled for and it's only 50 minutes long. The class goes by super fast and I feel like I've had a great workout and my body feels tight and toned afterward. The only downside to this club is the 12 hour cancellation for classes. It has its pros and cons. It definitely keeps you accountable to go to the classes you've signed up for if you don't cancel in time because you'll be charged $10 if you do cancel in less than 12 hours but at the same time if there's an emergency or if I get into a class I've been on the waitlist for yet I signed up for another class just in case I don't make the waitlisted class then I'm stuck to do both. So not sure what other option they could do about the cancellation period (maybe 4 hours instead?) or something. Overall I'm loving the club and my classes!! More...

I love this place! I've been coming here regularly for 6 months, and it's been a life-changing experience for me to get to look forward to working out. Instructors are consistently encouraging and accommodating to all different levels and attentive, though each has their own style for sure. Some of the instructors are very good about helping you make minor adjustments (like in a good yoga class) to really feel what you should be feeling and maximize the effects of your workout. I especially appreciate that classes are always on time and that each class is different. I never know what's next, so I never get complacent or bored.
