Clayton's is a must visit. Clean, warm welcoming atmosphere. Just what you want and expect when visiting or living on the Gulf coast of Florida. The food is great. Such a great spot for a delicious meal. Service was very friendly, Maureen the manager was exceptional! I had the filet and it was one of the best steaks I've had in Sarasota. Wow. Clayton’s has great food and an excellent vibe! We visited with a group of 6 friends last Saturday night and everyone left thrilled. We started with the bruschetta and coconut shrimp. Delicious! I am particular about seafood- the seared scallops were on point and my husband’s short rib entree was amazing. Staff was friendly and accommodating.. drinks are great! Great place to have dinner on Siesta Key. Clayton is a fabulous and entertaining host. The food and service are always great. Try the Macadamia Nut Crusted Grouper, Boneless Beef Short Ribs or Grilled Salmon. Highly recommend! You can’t go wrong with any of these items. I have eaten at Clayton's many times over the years. Restaurants in Sarasota come and go but this one remains a favorite. I especially like the duck - very good, crispy and not greasy at all . The food is consistently delicious, the service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is comfortable, laid back, and super friendly.
