Dyami C. was nothing short of amazing! We are very new the piano world and came in to get some education on digital pianos. Dyami spent a significant amount of time walking us through everything we needed to know while providing honest feedback for our specific situation. Not only was he wonderful in the store, but was super responsive via text and answered all of my questions. I wanted to buy a used Yamaha disklavier piano to replace our 100 year old baby grand. I'm involved with several amateur adult music groups, and I wanted to be able to accompany the songs on the disklavier system and also have a good piano to play and record our playing on the disklavier system. Bob Baker was very helpful in recommending a piano for us, but when it was delivered, we discovered that it was not able to do what we wanted. Bob Baker and Don West realized that there had been a misunderstanding on their part, and they proceeded to go out of their way to remedy the situation. I now have a beautiful Yamaha baby grand with a state of the art Disklavier player system! I found the piano of my dreams at Classic Pianos earlier this summer. I had been told by my piano tuner that my old spinet would be too expensive to repair and that it was time for an upgrade. So I did my research and had an idea of what I wanted when my husband and I walked in the door of this beautiful store. Mr. Bob Baker kindly listened to my thoughts and answered my questions and directed me to the pianos that met my requirements. Then he left me alone to play for probably half an hour so I could truly get a feel for the differences between the pianos. Next, he answered more questions. He was patient, knowledgeable and thorough. I've now had the piano for 3 months ( had it tuned twice and some "voicing" done). It is a Wilhelm Schimmel 45.5" upright and it is absolutely wonderful! My piano tuner says I am already a better piano player just because of the quality of the piano. Whether he is right or not, my enjoyment has increased immensely due to the beautiful tone of my new piano. More...

My son and I went to Classic Pianos to look at digital pianos as our piano is slowly failing. Chris showed us the Clavinovas, gave us details about each one and was so patient in answering our questions. I was most pleased about his laid-back approach and not trying to upsell us nor apply pressure and allayed some of my fears regarding digital pianos. I recently purchased a Yamaha Clavinova piano from Classic Pianos to replace my 14-year old Clavinova (which has worked great these past years, even with three kids pounding away at it). Classic Pianos had a good selection of Clavinovas at the store to try out, and they were able to order the color I wanted. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I bought a beautiful Estonia 5’6” Hidden Beauty piano from Classic Piano Store in Denver. Don West was the salesman and he is also a beautiful pianist which meant that I could hear the piano being played as well as having the experience of plenty of time for me to play it. I was so pleased and happy with the tremendous variety of pianos that they had in the store. I had talked to Don on the phone before coming to the store and he figured out what pianos to show me before I even arrived. I fell in love very quickly with the Estonia. I had already been to seven piano stores and tried out almost 50 pianos but the Estonia was the one for me! I was so pleased with the service. Everything went so smoothly including the delivery of the piano. Don and Amy (the bookkeeper) kept in contact with me about all the details. They didn't mind my emails asking where it was on the high seas as it made its way from Estonia to Denver. The piano is stunningly gorgeous, in the look of it and in the beauty of the sound. I've already had several recitals. I've had friends who were really fine pianists play the piano and they are also in love. I recently bought a piano from Classic Pianos and had an excellent experience there. The showroom is beautiful, and the stock was impressive. I found the staff to be friendly and not at all aggressive -- a refreshing change from other local piano stores that I had visited. I was allowed to wander freely and examine the pianos at my leisure. After visiting a number of times to get a feel for the options, I started working with Bob Baker from the sales staff, and I found him to be friendly, professional, extremely knowledgable, and patient. I appreciated that his style was very low-pressure, with no push towards up-selling me but instead focused on getting the right fit for what I wanted. When I walked into classic pianos this past June, I knew I was looking for an upgrade to my wonderful 100-year-old Steinway upright grand. What I didn't know is that I was about to be connected with one of the best pianos I've ever played, an Estonia 210. It now sits in my living room. Every morning for the past six months, I walk into the room and am amazed anew that something of this level of beauty sits waiting for me. Chris Ranney was a remarkably astute, highly informative, friendly and very low key, sales person. He quietly assessed what kind of a musician I am, and then guided me, entirely without pressure, to a piano he knew would practically sell itself. We purchased a brand new grand piano from Classic Pianos in July. It took us a year and about a dozen trips to the store to eventually find the piano we fell in love with. What made Classic Pianos stand out is that we never felt any pressure from any of the staff members we talked to. Bob, Chris and Don were all very friendly and patient. They seemed to be simply enjoying sharing their vast knowledge of pianos with us. But what really made Classic Pianos shine is its service. Our new grand piano had a tough few weeks of breaking-in in our new environment -- nothing structurally wrong with the piano. With so many parts, it simply needed time to adjust to its new home. During this period, Don and Bob were very responsive and addressed all our inquiries and requests efficiently. To purchase a grand piano is not a decision we make every day. The process is extremely rewarding, to be sure. But it could be a source of anxiety as well. This was such a fun and satisfying experience. Considering I was shopping for a major, much-anticipated purchase (my last Clavinova was bought over 20 years ago! ) with my 3 year old son accompanying me, it turned out to be relatively stress-free thanks to the kind and thoughtful attention from Chris and all the staff at Classic Pianos. My son will forever remember running around the showroom with Mojo, the resident canine. But back to the pianos...... considering I was quite out of touch with the current range of digital pianos, I was thankful to have Chris to advise and describe to me my choices.
