More market than eatery, bit great for a quick bite. The shawarma was really good, both chicken and beef, as recommended. The people were very friendly and helpful . We chose Classic Catering for our wedding and they did a great job overall! Classic Catering gives you large tasting portions, and they are also open and willing to try new recipes to make sure you have the kind of foods you want for your event. They recommended that we do a “sampling of our cultures”, so they opted to do two Korean dishes for us (japchae and bulgogi). They wine and dine you to win your bid (and we did TWO tastings with them to ensure they got our cultural dishes right. No additional cost for the second tasting). Sandy was our direct contact until the week of, and she was a pleasure to work with. Classic Catering is not crazy expensive for the amount and differing types of food that you can have, so we were glad we chose them. They also can easily accommodate all types of dietary restrictions, which was great since we had gluten free, vegans, and vegetarians among our guests. Sandy offered us discounts from her partnering vendors, and she was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Honestly, Sandy was a breath of fresh air compared to some other vendors. She was easy to work with and really tries to get to know her clients in order to provide a personal touch to the services provided. While I was very pleased with Sandy, Classic Catering’s ability to deviate from their traditional menu, and the food we tasted, unfortunately, I had to deduct a star because the execution of the services during our rehearsal dinner was not great. The (plated) food came cold, and they ran out of stuff during the wedding. During the creation of the menu, Sandy listed all alternate meals (vegetarian and vegan) that needed to be given to people and was very open to making special meals just for them. Sandy puts everything on the contract and that goes to the supervisor for the event. Our rehearsal dinner was plated so we expected that when the servers would bring the food out, the vegans and vegetarians would self-identify, and the servers would go grab their plate which was set aside. Those folks did self-identify to the servers. Unfortunately, the servers ignored our vegetarian friend and served them the meat dish TWICE and said they did not have any vegetarian options, which angered her husband (my best man) and me. The supervisor then came over. When we told them the issue, they went to get the vegetarian plate, which they DID have, but the server apparently didn’t know about it. Also, I don’t recommend a plated dinner if your event isn’t in Northern VA (i.e. Fairfax, Arlington) or DC. It’s not that the food wasn’t good or well cooked, it’s just that it came out of the “steam bags” luke-warm/cold since it wasn’t cooked locally, and the travel to our venue was over an hour away. Despite the assurances that the food would be piping hot upon arrival, it was not. The day of the wedding, we had a buffet for the reception and that went well; the waiters served my wife and me all the food we wanted separately (we ate apart from the guests which I HIGHLY recommend). No issues there and everything was delicious. The only thing that upset me the day of the wedding was that Sandy promised they’d bring enough apple cider for the entire event, but they ran out of it during cocktail hour while we were taking pictures. Overall, from Sandy to the logistical staff, everyone was very nice to work with. I am very impressed with Lebanese Taverna Market! For my condo's holiday party, we decided to cater from Lebanese Taverna, and we are very happy that we did. Both the food and customer service were excellent! Many people at the holiday party commented to me about how good the food was. I believe the customer service was even better. A gentleman named Pedro took the time to discuss my condo's food preferences and budget, and he helped me put together a menu that provided enough food for 40-45 people. As more and more RSVP's came in for the party, I contacted Pedro to update the order, and he was happy and willing to accommodate. Also, he helped me pack my car with all the food. I do not have enough kind words to say about Sandy and her team. From the second we had our first consultation, I knew I would be in great hands (and leaving with days worth of food didn’t hurt either! ). Sandy is a true wedding professional, extremely reliable and organized, and will quickly feel like a friend. She will answer all of your questions before you even ask them, and already have a solution set into place. People are still telling me how amazing all of the food at my wedding was! She brought my French Bistro wedding theme to life with a build-a-cheese-board station, a handwritten chalkboard menu, and sweet touches like a vintage bike with baguettes in the basket and fresh fruit on the cocktail tables. I said I wanted a popcorn station, she brought at least 10 different types of popcorn and toppings, as well as an adorable vintage popcorn machine for decor. Every detail was so personalized and well thought out, and she executed my ideas to perfection. Sandy’s company had multiple weddings the same day as mine, but Sandy made me feel the most special by attending MINE out of all the rest, and that is a sweet detail one can’t forget. I truly don't know where to begin. I'll start by saying Classic Catering was beyond WONDERFUL! HIRE THEM FOR EVERY EVENT!! ! From the first time I spoke with Sandy, I adored her. She's responsive, anticipates needs I didn't even know I had as the wedding coordinator for my sister's wedding. Over the four months that I had to plan this event, Sandy, who is now on my speed dial, was with me every step of the way, and not just for my catering needs. She was my confidante, mentor, and occasionally my therapist to talk me off the ledge...and now I count her as a friend. This doesn't even begin to describe the food. No detail was missed. The filet melted on our tongues; the chicken was a delight to our tastebuds; the salmon, the potatoes, the salads...I cannot begin to find the words to express the amazingness and deliciousness of each and every dish. Ms Calhoun is top notch! I was an out of state bride getting married in Mobile and from the first phone call Ms Calhoun exceeded expectations. We detailed the menu and day-of expectations and everything discussed in that first phone call happened on my wedding day and much more! Classic Catering was extremely classy and professional for our fall wedding at Molon Lave Winery in Warrenton, VA in October 2019. The food was excellent! We choose chicken piccata and filet with red wine port sauce with orzo and green beans. All our guests commented on how delicious the meal was. This is one of the original locations of the chain. It is a market cum prepared foods place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The market has many items of Middle Eastern foods, lots of different breads, pickled vegetables etc. The prices seemed reasonable. Sandy at Classic Catering promised my fiancé and I the sun, moon and the stars for our wedding day and let me tell you…SHE DELIVERED. We were planning our wedding quite last minute (only 2 and half months from scratch) and Sandy made the process so easy and stress free. It was always easy to get a hold of her and she had answers to all my questions and worries. She also has great taste and great vision. She gave us so many cute and innovative ideas about décor. As far as the day of goes, everything was honestly perfect. The set up was classy and beautiful and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Because I was planning my wedding from abroad, I picked them without tasting the food. My gamble paid off. There was about 2-3 more food than we could eat at the wedding (so the extended family ate well for days afterwards). We had their dips and appetizers and it was incredible. I love the food here! Even if I were to remove the bias from my review (the love for Lebanese food), the market is cute and has a large variety of things. They have different kinds of rice and teas and even unique beer. I always take a look while waiting for my food. Parking is the only thing that isn't too great. I Love LT market. Great food and awesome staff! I'm a former employee and now a customer. The food is amazing, healthy and fresh. The staff are super friendly. You can purchase hummus, baba ghanough, tabulleh, avocado salad and much more by the weight. They offer a pretty cool wine selection as well as imported beers. This review pertains to Catering by LT, which is Lebanese Taverna's catering arm, but I'll preface it by saying that I've never had a bad experience at any of the LT outposts (Pentagon City, Woodley Park, or the Market. ) Catering by LT did our wedding this weekend and they were truly fantastic. Food was great but what really made an impression was the incredible service. We worked with the director of catering, Charles. He was responsive, listened to what we wanted, and took all the stress off of us by interfacing with the other vendors to make things run smoothly - our venue, our cake, our DJ, our florist, and our photographer. I've been to the market twice at this point, to participate in cooking classes. The classes are fun and the food is soo good. The most recent class I took had falafel on the menu, which my brother loves. I must say, after this class I'm now a fan of falafel. The great thing is that they also give you the recipes for everything on the menu...the only thing is that the recipes aren't exactly complete, but pens are provided for you to write in notes. Lebanese Taverna Market is one of my favorite places to go for lunch in Arlington. I usually get a Chicken Shawarma platter which comes with two sides. I like getting the rice and hummus as my two sides. The Shawarma is always amazing, and the hummus is so good it makes grocery store hummus seem flavorless. The cheese Fatayers and Grape Leaves are also some of my favorites from the deli counter. The market is also great if you need to bring an appetizer to a party. They sell their hummus in plastic jars along with pita and crackers. I've had the Tahini, Baba Ghanoush, Spicy Hummus and regular Hummus. The Spicy Hummus is definitely my favorite of the four. I have been to the actual Tavernas a few times and this is a very different experience. It's like a deli and there are some interesting choices. If you are vegetarian, there is some option to get a plate at like $10.99 per lb but when things are like $7.99 per lb max you are just better off getting two or three things in small containers anyway. The mousaka (which is nothing like the Greek version- at all) is amazing. So is the arnabeet (cauliflower). I got an arnabeet pita because we were with a friend on a plant based diet with whom I wanted to share and I was pleasantly surprised at just how good it was. The stuffed grape leaves were great too. This is definitely worth a stop to stock up on a bunch of great Lebanese deli items. The staff are friendly (ish) and the prices are pretty good for the quality you get. More...

CC's Classic Catering did an amazing job catering my friend's wedding this past weekend! The food was absolutely some of best food I've ever had, especially at a wedding. From the mouth-watering lamb chops to the delicious crawfish orchid rice to the delicious sweet potatoes with praline sauce, Mrs. Calhoun definitely showed that she knows what she's doing! We had our rehearsal dinner at the Pentagon Row Lebanese Taverna and it was a real delight. The food was delicious and there was something for everyone in our large and diverse group (including children, older people, international visitors and picky eaters).
Everyone loved the food and there were lots of compliments from our out-of-town guests who hadn't eaten there before (and from one of our wedding party who had her own rehearsal dinner there ten years earlier!). Very reasonably priced for what you get and we couldn't believe how much food there was! Fortunately we had some teenage boy guests there to take home the leftovers. Although we were in the main restaurant space we felt like we had a sense of privacy and didn't feel at all rushed or hurried, it was very relaxed.
Alex from the Group & Private Dining team was extremely helpful in tailoring our menu and sorting out all the details (at quite late notice - we had left this to the last minute to organize) and all the staff on the night were great. Overall it was a lovely experience and we were so happy with our choice. Will definitely be returning!

From American, Latin American, Mediterranean, Pan Asian and Middle Eastern our team can fulfill any menu requested. Chef Rubelio leads the kitchen and excels with his sauces and presentation. Tasting his Blackened Salmon with Cajun Cream or his Chicken Piccata is a delight. Chef Lubin presenting his Gumbo, Filet Medallions with Bordelaise or Champagne Chicken is a treat. Chef Jayant preparing his Lamb Cochin or Tilapia Acharchi always perfection.

Our clients are designing and providing a wonderful event for their guests. WE LISTEN! Our clients know their guests and their vision.
