I was really nervous seeking advice from an interior designer. Though I wanted ideas, I didn't want my home to not look like my own. I have worked with Claire on a few projects over the past 6 years, and can't say enough good things about my experience. She transformed an awkwardly shaped family room into a comfortable, beautiful room with plenty of seating area, including an L-shaped sectional, chairs, and more. Claire is also especially talented at choosing area rugs, wall art and accessories, adding just the right "pop of color." When I hired a contractor to completely renovate my kitchen, by sheer coincidence (and luck!), Claire was the designer he brought on board. I love not only the layout and the bells and whistles, but also the color of the cabinets and the back splash. I can't ever move from this home because I'll never have such a beautiful kitchen! Claire has done several projects for us, both at our home and my office. She comes up with a beautiful cohesive plan that reflects your style, incorporates favorite pieces, and updates the look of the space. My favorite part is that she orders and stores all the components of the job and has it installed all at once. I don't have to wait hours for furniture delivery nor do I have to deal with and/or supervise any labor. Claire literally takes care of everything... from the gorgeous plan to the final installation. I can't speak more highly of her talent and work ethic. I am now completely spoiled and would never do a project on my own or with another designer. I worked with Claire to design the living room and dining room of my beach house in Hilton Head. It was my first experience working with her and I would definitely use her services again. Our meetings to discuss options, choose fabric and furnishings were very organized and efficient. She quickly understood the look I was trying to achieve and made modifications where needed. My favorite part was the TV Show style reveal. Everything was warehouses until all the items had arrived and she installed in one day. The impact of walking into the house with the rooms completed was amazing.

I told Claire I wanted some "wow" factor when people walked into my house because it was a bit boring and dated. In 2016, Claire helped us undertake a makeover of a family room, keeping room and kitchen dining area in our home. This was our first experience with using a designer. After our first meeting with Claire, she created an amazing vision for our space that exactly blended style that we ourselves had envisioned, but could not ever define in words. Claire Bell transformed our bedroom and master bathroom beyond our expectation! The design vision she presented after meeting with us and looking over our outdated -zero style - room was incredible. Claire was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. The attention to detail and communications she provided every step of the project was fantastic. I had a very boring house and wanted some "wow" factor when you walked in the front door, but I have zero ability to figure what to do. Claire saw a couple of pieces I like and really built an awesome theme from them. She gave me ideas and showed me a few things and I just said "I have no idea" so she said "trust me" and she ran with it. She had everything delivered and installed, including all the accessories and I have some major "wow" factor now. I didn't lift a finger (except to write the check - lol), which is exactly what I wanted.

I love my living room now and didn't realize how much I would like having a fully "put together" room. It's amazing. The room is comfortable, has energy yet it's soothing. I don't know how she does it, but Claire knows how to bring many pieces together to create a fantastic result. I would not picked anything she did, but when she put it all together, the effect is irresistable.

I can't recommend her highly enough. I know quite a few desingers and would not hire any of them. Claire is the first designer I met that I thought could deliver what I wanted, which was not just "traditional" or comfortable or boring. I don't know how to say it besides "You'll LOVE working with Claire Bell". My highest recommendation all the way. More...

We hired Claire Bell for at least the third time to help remodel our bathroom. We wanted a spa look and feel to the bathroom, and Claire did the trick. She picked out awesome colors, had great suggestions for the best use of our space, and turned us on to using a glass bath screen instead of a shower curtain. This is the third house that Claire has helped us make into a home, and she keeps getting better with every project. This time the request was to help take a very well done renovation and make it into a comfortable, yet glamorous space that had a few jaw dropping moments sprinkled in among some cozy, thoughtful spaces. As always, Claire delivered beyond our highest expectations.

She suggested a custom couch for the living area with low profiles as not to block our arched windows, a unique architectural feature that she wanted to bring forward into the design. She also managed to find a way to give us privacy with those windows if we want to have it with some very elegant curtains, that somehow become architectural elements in their own right when not being actively used. When she described how she was going to do this in our initial design, I'll admit I was skeptical. Eventually I will remember that there is a reason why we always call Claire when we're looking for a beautiful space.

E-consulting with Claire Bell has been a wonderful experience! I was browsing photos on houzz.com and came across some light fixtures that I thought were stunning. I asked the designer a question, and she promptly gave me an answer and offered her services to locate the sconces I wanted. I had never heard of e-consulting with a designer before, and I was a little lost when it came to the overall design of our new house, so I was relieved that Claire led me in the right direction. After showing Claire pictures of what I liked, she was able to narrow down my style preferences and keep me from straying off course. It was a huge relief to have some guidance.
Here are the benefits I found from using Claire’s online consultation services:
•Accessibility: I live in rural Nebraska—far from any contemporary/modern interior designers. Being connected electronically helped me find some up-to-date guidance where none was available.
•No appointments necessary: not everyone can find time in “normal” business hours to meet with a designer. Our communication via email fit perfectly into my schedule, or lack thereof, since I work from home and also shuffle around two preschool-age kids from daycare, music, and school.
•Honest opinion: Claire is not afraid to tell me if my ideas are straying from the main style objective, and she offers alternatives as well. She respects my tastes but lets me know if they are not necessarily tasteful.
•Expert opinion: since I live far from an urban center, I have to shop online, but I’m often unable to tell a cheap knockoff from the real thing, and the amount of choices can be overwhelming. Since Claire has seen, in person, many of the pieces I was interested in, she was able to vouch for their looks, explain in better detail, and steer me away from lower-quality items. She was able to provide her own snapshots of fixtures in actual stores so that I could see them in a setting and in “real life.”
•Flexibility: Claire is able to work within my budget, which was fairly tight, so she helped me maximize on looks, saving the more expensive pieces for places with the greatest impact. She let me decide which aspects of the home I needed help with the most, and that’s where she focused her attention.
•Fairness: if I found a piece online for a lower price, Claire would honor it if she could or let me shop elsewhere if I found an amazing deal.
•Positive attitude: cheerful, accommodating, and friendly, Claire was very fun to work with.
While e-consulting doesn't allow an actual face-to-face exchange of ideas, although Claire does offer to Skype, it was the perfect service for me because of my location, busy schedule, and smaller budget. I was able to get the benefits of a high-end designer at a fraction of the cost and on my own time.
