We were looking for an alternative to staying on the resort for dinner, and walked up to CJ's. My half plate of mango glazed ribs was more than sufficient, with rice and mixed veggies. The mango glaze was a u inquire sweet and spicy flavor, and the ribs were falling off The bone. The wife's pineapple fried rice was clearly to her liking, and more than she could eat. Top notch fresh lemonade, and we are saving the free Hana bar I got for checking in on Yelp for our Road To Hana tour tomorrow! More...

We stopped into CJs first thing in the morning before we began the Road to Hana. We saw a post on Facebook saying that they have a great Hana Boxed Lunch. It sounded like a good deal so we went for it. They even give you a free cooler to use that you can use for your whole stay on Maui and they will continue to fill it with ice for free. The Hana Boxed Lunch was your basic lunch. It was your choice of sandwich with whatever you want on them, Maui chips, a drink, a fresh pineapple boat, and a fresh baked Hana bar. What impressed us is the way they packed everything. It was all packed so nicely. The toppings for the sandwiches were meticulously packed separate in plastic wrap in layers so none of it touches and got soggy. They packed plates, napkins, condiments and everything you would need! They even placed wax paper on top of the ice so nothing got soggy. It was awesome. We would definitely stop in and do that deal again. More...

CJ's Deli is amazing! We recently had them cater a small event for us at our West Maui Animal Clinic in Lahaina. CJ went above and beyond to provide excellent service and pricing. Great food and service. They offer a picnic lunch which was perfect for our road trip up to Haleakala for sunset dinner. They packed a cooler for all five of us; sandwiches, fresh fruit, chips, cookie, drink all for a very good price (even for main land prices!). They are smart too...they pack the lettuce and tomato separately so the bread stays fresh! Again, they are very good and nice. Accidentally, because it was so dark at the mountain top, we forgot their cooler there. Well, they said, that's what the deposit is for which was fai and reasonable.
