A good place for a meat fest. I had nicely charred prime rib and gnawing on the bone was enjoyable. Not many beers to choose from, but they had some nice wine. Dessert was great.

The wait is worth the delicious meat that is coal cooked which gives a juicy and tender taste. For those looking for a non meat evening, the grilled branzino is superb! Either red or white sangria is the perfect accompaniment to this delicious meal. The staff is corteous and friendly with a great service to finish off an excellent evening! Will definitely go back at least once every month! More...

Always amazing
Last time can’t imagine what happened, the seafood paella had kani and it was still in the plastic wrapper inside the pan! The silverware on the table was bent .
The whole experience was unpleasant
Been a loyal guest for 20 years
Having a hard time deciding to go back
The paella should have been removed from the check
Service is as usual fantastic

The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was alive and colorful. The waiter even took a group picture of us. That's one for my scrapbook. My husband and I ate here for the first time on 3/10. The workers were very nice when we came in. We were told to sit wherever we wanted, which is nice because we picked a spot that we felt comfortable sitting at. After we arrived, it started getting busy. This made our server a little slow with getting back to us. Overall, it was a good experience! More...

It was my first time actually eating at the restaurant but my family always orders chicken from there and I know is delicious. Yesterday was Mother's Day on some Hispanic countries. So we decided to take mom there because she loves the place. But there was so many people there. The host told me an 30 min wait but we end waiting for over an hour. Which I totally understand and we're fine with the wait. But what I really didn't like it was a comment a lady made say about so many Hispanic people being there because it was Mother's Day in Mexico. That was ver ignorant and racist. Especially when you are going to place that is not even American. The food was great we had the chicken and the kabohs and it was amazing the flan was also good and you can't forget the sangria. Even though it was full I still had a great experience and we never felt rush to get out even though we left at 930 and people were still waiting. More...

My husband and I, and several other couples, have been going there for dinner on Fridays for over 25 years. We are treated like family by the entire staff. The food is yummy and plentiful, and the drinks are amazing. The price is also extremely reasonable. Yes, you may have to wait a bit at prime time on prime days, but it’s well worth it. Manny has a really good thing going. More...

Portuguese Rodizio Done Well. There can be little wonder that this is the most popular restaurant in Mineola despite the fact that there are some fine restaurants in the area. Mineola retains a sizable Portuguese-American population. There is also a still growing Brazilian-American population. Churrasqueira Bairrada fills a need through it's unabashed pride in the Portuguese heritage. Bairrada is a specific region in Portugal, but the restaurant has appeal for people whose families hail from other regions as well. First thing you must know is that grilling is the cooking method of choice at Bairrada. Grilled meats and seafood are paraded out of the kitchen at a steady stream because this restaurant is always busy. The menu is a little pricey for the dinner portions served as some reviewers suggest, but I do not question the quality. I have received my food grilled as ordered each dining experience. No complaints. Desserts are attractive when you retain the capacity to indulge. The beverages of choice are the Portuguese coffee (spiked with liquors) and the cappuccino. More...

THE BEST RODIZIO I HAVE EVER TASTED!!. The food is pricey, but the Rodizio is out of this world. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The meat is always tender and succulent; it is seasoned correctly. On the weekends you will have a long wait, but it is well worth it. These people know how to cook!!! Their desserts are to die for. Always a buzz. I've been frequenting this restaurant for years when there were around the block in a little hole in the wall. This place is frequented by and owned by local Brazilians so anyone who says this place is a miss they are mistaken. I've never seen this place not packed, and as result usually plan for take out. It's not expensive. I typically get a full chicken with black beans and rice. If you don't ask for black beans they'll give you home made chips, which are good when eaten hot, but don't travel well and are unsalted. The black beans go great with the rice. On occasion my wife will order grilled shrimp, these are big and very good. They typically serve them with steamed veggies and boiled potatoes. On occasion, the chicken, particularly the legs and sometimes the shrimp will be a little overcooked. The chacoal flavor is so good, I give them a pass on this. The real secret is to order the roast suckling pig on the weekend. They don't always have it, so ask about it in advance. The sauce they serve it with is spicy, but out of this world. The only downside is you'll want to fast a day or two later to let your arteries clear. More...

Satisfactory. Although the decor is not what's encountered, (in my overseas experiences), in typical Portuguese restaurants, this place surely has satisfied in the food and service department. From the appetizers, to main course, to dessert, nothing has disappointed. I have tried everything from their shrimp and squid kebab to their rodizio, (different visits, of course). I was happy with all entrees had. Also, their rodizio is not overly salty unlike Brazilian rodio restaurants I've eaten at. I will eat here again! More...
