Christine Face and Body Studio

I'm honestly at a loss for words for the experience I had today. I'm a recent transplant from Los Angeles (lived there for 10 years) and I booked a Brazilian on classpass. I showed up for my appointment, and called because I couldn't find where the studio is located (it's in the back of the building). I don't know who answered but it was by far the frostiest phone call. She told me I wasn't on the books, that it was classpass's problem. When I asked if I could simply show her the appointment I made, she told me NOT TO COME IN, didn't offer to see me or find any sort of resolution. She basically hung up on me. I literally had tears in my eyes from how mean she was. So much for a warm welcome to Washington. All I wanted to see was her price list and to make a future appointment? Went here last year and have not been back.  Found the service unprofessional (seemed like someone was training on me, but really at my cost and for $160), and it ultimately left me with hyper-pigmentation which I've been working on since, as extractions were not done carefully or gently enough. Not thrilled with the product selection (why only offer mediocre Dermalogica when better, more effective medical-grade skincare , backed by actual credible research/evidence can be purchased for the same and sometimes even cheaper price [i.e. iS Clinical, Skin Medica, Skinceuticals, Jan Marini, Skin Better, Glowbiotics...the list goes on and on regarding current effective medical-grade options for comparable prices]?).  Christine was fine and I'm sure she has a loyal client base which is great, but I would rather take my money elsewhere and receive professional and effective medical spa services. I hardly ever get my eyebrows waxed since they're blonde and I can barely see them on a good day. But I'm getting married this weekend so I figured I should get them resembling something like normal eyebrows. Caitlin did an excellent job! She gave my shapeless eyebrows an natural shape and even shaded them in for me. I 100% recommend hard wax, it barely hurt at all and my skin never turned red. I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin but in the past that is what kept me from getting regular waxes. I'll definitely be coming back! More...

I have seen both Nancy and Christine for multiple services. They are both really knowledgable and are full of great tips and advice for keeping your skin healthy and beautiful. I'm always glowing and fresh faced when I leave there. I get dermabrasion once a month. I have had that service elsewhere and wasn't able to go out in public afterward because of redness and irritation. I highly recommend this skin care studio. Christine is always on the cutting edge and constantly continuing her education. Nancy is so experienced and talented. I LOVED my treatment with Christine and her staff.  I got what is called "THE WORKS" and with it I was completely pampered with a facial, leg wax, massage, lash tint and semi permanent mascara application.  At one point I had 3 people working on me at once.  I've never experienced anything like it, I felt like a princess. I recently had my eyebrow waxed by Christine. And that was the MOST professional service I've ever expirienced. I always worry when I go to some nail salon to get my brow done. Some esthetician don't even ask what look that I like and they always in such hurry! By the time when it's done I look at my brow in the mirrow I always feel that they look the same as theirs?!  <br>Christine is so knowlageble. She's great at communication and she gives very sincere consultation. I love Christine Face and Body for ANY occasion. Recently she did mine and all my bridal party's make up- PERFECTLY. I have to admit we were looking pretty good. She uses YoungBlood make up and Dermalogica skin products, which I love.  I also see Christine for waxing, facials and massages. They are very professional and accommodating. Christine is amazing! She is very professional yet gives a caring personal touch to her clients. My face was a complete disaster and I was desperate to get an appointment to get some immediate help. She was very responsive and flexible in scheduling; she even called me back to get me in earlier when an opening came up.  Due to her products and techniques, there was an immediate improvement in my skin. I love Christine of Christine Face &amp; Body.  I really look forward to seeing her for any treatment and I really wish I could do more.
