Nice little spot on the old strip in Pooler, and a great spot to stop for lunch. Food was definitely good, but it's also pretty pricey.

I've always enjoyed Chazito's, they have a bunch of tasty authentic dishes that get even better once they put their own swing on it! Although I could go on and on about their delicious Cuban or their sweet yucca fries, I gotta high light their nacho fried chicken. Recently I was lucky enough to help out judge a fried chicken contest that these guys were part of and of all the southern fried chicken that was contested, Chazitos stole first place by a land slide!! This chicken is freaking fuego guys. Chef told us his recipe to it, and as wild and crazy as it sounds he puts this sucker together beautifully! With a spicy honey drizzle on top as well there isn't one thing about them I would change. Great work by Chazitos once again! More...

The best description I can give is it's hit or miss. I primarily frequent the food truck which is always 5 stars. We got burritos at the Pooler location. Once we ordered pork but got chicken. Wow I can't say enough about how authentic and delicious the food was here. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The place doesn't look like much from the road but the food is out of this world. I had the mofongo burger and it was most definitely the best burger as well as best mofongo I have ever eaten. I often have dreams about the food here because it is just that good. The yucca fries are phenomenally smooth and buttery while fried to perfection with a light crispiness on the outside. The first thing I ever had here was the "Plantain Me Crazy" bowl and I was absolutely crazy about it. So many flavors in one bowl that all perfectly harmonized with each other. Everytime I'm in the area, I have to keep coming back. The memory of all of the flavors haunts me and beckons for me to return. It's like a siren call you're helpless to resist. Just go with it; your stomach will thank you.I highly recommend anything that comes with yucca fries or plaintain. Heck, I highly recommend anything on that menu.
