Best place to lift weights in Seattle
I dropped in while on a business trip. Friendly and welcoming clients and owner. They have a nice set-up with plenty of equipment. I didnt feel rushed to complete my programming and appreciated the feedback from Mitch. Super cool club. I will definitely drop in again if I'm in the area. More...
this was my first experience at an actual "barbell club", and I couldn't be more satisfied. everything from the vibe as soon as you walk in to the worn in platforms. thank you, Mitch, for being hella cool. next time I'm in the neighborhood, I'll make it a point to stop in for a sesh. More...
Everyone was really nice and welcoming. Had a great time training there and the view was an added bonus! Really helped to distract me from all the front squats I was doing lol. Kinda tough to find but there is a sign on the fence for the parking lot that helps and you simply walk to back of the lot and there it is. Great for Weightlifting and powerlifting. More...
Spent an hour with Mitch working on deadlift form. He is a solid trainer who knows his stuff. No BS training and I hit a new PR.
Best gym in Seattle. Nice variety of bearing bars and discs. Great layout and enough weight for a bunch of superheavys to be lifting on separate platforms. Above all that, great atmosphere and energy. No amount or type of equipment can create that (even though they’ve got that too). 10/10 recommend for any seasoned or new lifter in the Seattle area. Great gym for serious lifters in the heart of SoDo
Only dedicated weightlifting gym in the area. 24 hours. Can't beat it.
Nice people, great owner, good bars
Serious strength training in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for bling and frills, keep looking.
Great weightlifting gym and fun atmosphere! Thanks for letting me drop in and train!
Awesome place, only barbell gym in the area.
the bee's knees
Love the gym and the overall vibe: Serious but plenty of good natured smack talk. Not to mention Mitch always being ready to correct your form or hurl insults in your general direction :-)
My coworker had brought me here because I needed someone to lift while I'm on a work trip. As I walked in, Mitch welcomed me and made me feel right at home. Mitch gave us a quick tour, and also offered assistance and pointers when he was available, which I quickly jumped on. I love the community atmosphere of coming here and will likely stop by when I'm in town again next month. Thanks Mitch! More...
