Dare I say this might be my new favorite spot for happy hour downtown? I think it might!Disclaimer: this review is only for happy hour at the bar because we didn't have time to try anything else. My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner Saturday afternoon after reading all the reviews, excited to try the paella. It was 5:30 and we were going to the Amway for a 7pm concert. I figured there would be plenty of time for dinner. There was no wait, and we headed to the bar for some happy hour drinks. First off, I was so pleased that happy hour ran on weekends. This was a great start to our evening! We ordered some sangria (delicious) and a few small plates. When it came time to order dinner, we had our hearts set on paella. To our disappointment, we found out that the paella takes at least 45 minutes to make, and we didn't have the luxury of time to wait for it. We had to pass and ordered some more tapas instead. In total, we tried:- meatballs - ok, but the sauce tasted like it came from a jar. - babaghanoush - delicious, some of the best I've had! - ceviche - excellent, fresh and flavorful, good portion for the price. - croquetas - crispy and delicious on the outside, but strange ground meat on the inside. I was expecting ground meat, but this was more of a meat paste. Overall, everything we tried was good. It's a great atmosphere at that time of day, really chill and relaxing. We ventured in with ceviche dishes on our mind and was not disappointed. It was a busy night so we sauntered to the bar and ordered tapas and wine. Even though the line was backed up at the bar due to only one bartender, the  food was served quickly and was delicious. We got a charcuterie platter along with seafood ceviche. My wife and I got married in Feb 2019. We decided to hold our reception at Ceviche. Kelly was amazing throughout the whole process. She was efficient, flexible, understanding, and had a very calm and professional demeanor throughout the whole process. The venue is not your typical wedding venue. It has an old age charm and vintage feel to it. From the lighting to the amenities it gives you the feeling of having gone back in time to a hall in an old Spanish town. The highlight of the hall is of course the balcony which overlooks Church St and downtown Orlando. Both the reception hall and the balcony are quite spacious and lend themselves to great pictures as well room to move freely and even get a dance in. The staff is great!!! VERY attentive and great at anticipating needs as well as delivering service in a professional yet fun and entertaining way. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. HIGHLY recommend the chef attended paella station as well as the Patatas Bravas, delicious!!!! We found Ceviche to be quite affordable given the decor, location, and reputation for excellent food. We got married 3/9/2019, we had our ceremony and reception at Ceviche, and it could not have been more perfect. This is the most amazing venue for any occasion. Not only is it beautiful and the food outstanding, but Kelly and her crew are the absolute best. The venue itself has so much character, from the rose chandeliers, and the stained glass windows in the chapel room, to the hanging candles in the fireplace room. I'm almost at a loss for words at how to describe my experience at Ceviche. I got married there July 2019 with about 47 guests. We planned our wedding from our home in California. Kelly worked with us for months through a 3 hour time difference and 3k miles away. I didn't even see the venue in person until the week of the wedding! I read a review on here in 2018 about booking this venue just to be able to work with the catering director Kelly. After my experience there I would say I 100 percent agree with that statement but also that the space is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Everything in this venue is detail oriented and classic but with flexibility to add your own touch. The food? Amazing! The menu has options for everyone. The steak and salmon were my favs! Now as far as Kelly the catering director goes....would you like your wedding venue to be handled by a woman who cares as much about your day as you do How about someone who is so unbelieveably chill when you are on the edge of baby bridezilla town - but can still throw it down when you need help corralling your family like a herd of cats? Maybe you are a perfect angelic creature who isn't worried about either of those things, I'd still book this venue because Kelly has been doing her job for 10 plus years and there is not a question she doesnt have an answer to (or will find if she doesnt!) I can't say enough things about how this venue made my day stress free and such a beautiful memory to hold for my lifetime.

My husband and I got married on 9/25/2019 and hosted a dinner party with family and friends at Ceviche Orlando. We went back and forth with what we wanted so many times because we wanted to keep it simple, but elegant. Kelly, director of banquets, held our hand through the ENTIRE process! No pressure was put on us to make decisions immediately, which I loved. She met with us multiple times to ensure our vision came to life & also helped with her input when we needed it the most. Right before walking out in public (which I was so afraid of), she calmed me down. Waiters/bartender — amazing! Food — everyone was raving about it! They handled putting the decorations together wonderfully. We gave Kelly an idea of what we wanted more or less & told her to use her best judgement. This place is so good it has me making up words. It's FANTASTICAL LOL. The service from our server Sebastian was very attentive and kind. Ceviche is one of our favorite restaurants and after a long hiatus due to the constant running around, we finally planned on a visit on a Saturday night.  We arrived around 8:00 and had no trouble getting a table.  It wasn't empty, but not full either.  Had a few drinks (wine and cocktails) and all were on point with what we were eating.  Not an overwhelming selection of wines, but they fit with the atmosphere.We started off with some appetizers.  First, was the Casa Ceviche which we've never tried before.  We were looking for something with a variety of fish and this delivered on flavor.  Never had squid in Ceviche before which was a little different.  We also had the Tabla Mixta which was a nice assortment of meats and cheeses with some bread and nuts to go with it.  I loved the Chorizo.Round 2 brought the Gambas y Guacamole which had a tangy Guacamole with Pico de Gallo and about 3 medium shrimp.  We also had our favorite Piquillos Rellenos which are 3 peppers stuffed with veal and some other stuff with a sherry cream sauce (good on everything, BTW).  We also had the braised Oxtail which was awkward to eat, but absolutely delicious.  We thought the spinach with figs, garlic, and honey would go with it and we were right.  The Espinicas was one of the favorites of the night.Round 3 came the Paella.  We did the one with Pork and Chicken and loved the flavor and all of the crispy bits of rice.  If you get the Paella, plan on a wait as it takes time to prepare.  We ordered after our appetizer round 1.Finally, a little Creme Brulee for a desert to top it all off.  What else can you say, about Creme Brulee?The Service was great with plenty of water refills and the manager stopping over to see how everything was.  I wish I had room for more food as we didn't get to order some of our past favorites like Patatas Bravas, croquetas and Garlic Shrimp. I wasn't sure how much I would like this place when we decided to go here for a business dinner with our new partner but I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. We feasted on one of almost everything and had a great time. The service was excellent! I hate that I waited too long to write this review and can't recall our server's name because he did an outstanding job. Everything I ate was delicious. I tried most things except for anything with seafood or mushrooms which I don't eat. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the downtown area of Orlando. Sunday night I came here for a friend's 30th birthday. We were a party of 12 and they easily accommodated by adding a small table to a large table. The atmosphere was nice. All the servers were very friendly. It was tapas style so some people's good came out before others. The chicken took the longest at our table so if you're hungry, order something else that takes less time to cook. The portions are small so it's best to order two or three plates (or load up on the free bread and pesto). I got calamari and the portobello mushroom and my boyfriend got casa ceviche and the croquettes. They were all good, but we were still hungry after our meal.My friend got churros with a candle for her birthday, but she's allergic to cinnamon so she shared her churros with the table. They were warm and very delicious and came with some melted chocolate to dip the churros in. Parking isn't available close by since it's downtown. You'll have to park on a lot or at a garage. There's a parking lot down Garland that charges $2/hour, but you can add minutes in 15-min increments too. That walk isn't too bad, but be careful in case it rains or you're wearing heels. More...

This is by far my favorite Spanish restaurant in Orlando and better than many other Spanish restaurants I've been to in other cities. Their complimentary freshly baked bread is warm and delicious and it's served with an amazing pesto spread. Their paellas are very good but lately I've been going mostly for drinks and tapas. Their red sangria is delicious (and pretty strong, too, so if you're a lightweight, pace yourself!). When looking for a venue in the Orlando area for a June wedding I researched and researched some more. I just could not seem to find everything I was needing all in one place.

Months went by and I happened to see a picture of a ceremony space that had the ambiance I was searching for. After seeing it was on Church Street in downtown Orlando I almost gave up on the idea because I figured it would’ve been out of our price range. However, after reading probably every review on every site in the internet about Ceviche Orlando, I learned that 99.99% of brides were extremely happy with their choice.

What struck me the most were the reviews that spoke about Kelly (the banquet director). How responsive and amazing she was. This became extremely important to me as my search went on, as many venues wouldn’t respond to me within a few days, and some left me unimpressed after speaking with them. So, because of Kelly’s reviews I decided to email her and immediately I knew this was the place. What a relief!

Kelly constantly responded to me in a timely manner. I could not have asked for anything more! There was something that had me feeling extremely anxious and disappointed before the wedding (this had absolutely nothing to do with Ceviche!!) and Kelly had taken it upon herself to resolve it for me. She was not asked to do so, was not expected to do anything since it was not on Ceviche’s end. My husband and I were so grateful to her for that act of kindness - it truly came together so beautifully because of her.

Ceviche Orlando ended up being in my budget, having plenty of room for our 130 guests, and the ambiance was everything I had hoped it would be. We thought we knew what food we’d be choosing until we had the tasting. We were blown away by the salmon, paella, and picanah steak. Due to other reviews I read, we also went with the potatoes side and are so happy we did.

Guests are still talking about how much they loved the food and the presentation of being served (family style). So many had said they’d never experienced so much food given the quality. They were beyond happy with their plates, which was very important to us. We had plenty of room on the dance floor and room to eat with all the guests we had. We also had many compliments on the servers and bartenders as well. (We had a lot of drinkers in the crowd :)

Bottom line is, my research paid off. Thanks to all of the other reviewers commenting on Kelly, I reached out to her and we are completely and utterly happy that we did! More...

My family and I visited Ceviche recently for an early weekend dinner. We had an enjoyable experience and ordered a variety of tapas plates and pitchers of sangria. The first plate that came out was the Tabla Mixta which had a variety of delicious cured meats and cheeses. The Pan Con Tomate came out next. Toasted soft slices of bread were topped with juicy tomatoes and flavorful basil. The Patatas Bravas were savory and topped with a creamy spicy aioli. The Bacalao was next; the flakey cod was served on savory potatoes and juicy peppers. The Banderillas were juicy tender skewers of medium rare steak; I was disappointed with this dish since it lacked much flavor and seasoning. However, my favorite dish of the meal was the Rabo De Toro. This rich tender oxtail was glazed in a sweet marinade and sat on savory crisp rice. Stopped in before a concert and it was packed fortunately the weather was pleasant so easy or able to get a table outside. They don't take reservations when there are events at the Amway. We were hoping to take part of happy hour which is only served at the bar, and the bar was packed. We ordered the cheese plate to share at the table which had a nice  array of four cheeses and Marcona almonds.  We also shared some Patatas Bravas,  fried potato wedges with a slightly spicy tomato aoli.  My friends each ordered a steak tapas and each was cooked perfectly. As a non mammal eater I ordered the Pulpo Gallegos, grilled octopus served on saffron potato rounds topped with pickled red onion and arugula.  It was okay, it seemed to lack seasoning.   The star was the warm bread served with an amazing pesto.   Service was friendly and surprisingly speedy for how busy it was.  I would like to return on a non event night when we can try the happy hour menu. Came here for dinner and it happened to happy hour! We had a baby so they were very awesome to let us still get HH without sitting at the bar since it would be hard with our stroller. hH is from 4-7pm; bar only. They have a mix of drinks and food from $5-$7. We got like hummus, babaganoush, casa ceviche (not my fave) from HH. Sangria was great too! Also ordered the seafood paella and it comes with a little lobster, shrimp, and mussels. Really seafoody and great! It does take 45 min so order it first. For tapas we got the charcuterie board. It felt like it was slapped on together so it was very basic and not worth the price but I was craving it! Octopus ceviche was great! Loved the lime and tenderness! We (my cousin and I) planned a "Galentine" dinner here. The ambiance was great as was the food.  The bread and oil were excellent and I'd go back in a heartbeat just for it! I ordered the gambas y guacamole, which was okay (I prefer my guacamole chunky not smooth); pulpo a la gallega which had great flavor, but the octopus was a bit tough (I had to scoop it on my fork as the tines of my fork couldn't pierce the pieces); and espinacas which was perfect - somehow they found a way to make spinach special. Overall, I had a great experience. Our server said that three dishes each would be enough and she was right. I was full after two dishes because BREAD, but managed to enjoy a third. One of the best Tapas bars ever! Having visited Spain late last year, and trying out Tapas over there has brought new insights and so glad this place has met with every expectation. We got seated right away and our server was very polite and answered all our questions. We started with some amazing cocktails - Antigua, Pepino, Burro and Farmacia and they all tasted amazing. Pepino had the right flavors I was looking for, and my husband mentioned that farmacia was great too. My brother enjoyed the Antigua and really enjoyed the strong Burbon in it. We ordered a ceviche and few seafood tapas along with lamb and chicken thighs. The meat was delicious and the variety of seafood (shrimps, salmon etc) tasted heavenly. They were out of branzino that night but everything else surely did make up for it. We also got the mushroom with garlic and it was cooked to perfection. Ceviche is my favorite place to go in Orlando! We went in the evening after the holidays. Even though there was a Magic basketball game we were seated right away. Our waiter was super friendly! The sangria is so good and worth it! My husband and I get the half pitcher of the sparkling and it's about 2.5 glasses each. This time we got the non house version with orange liqueur in it and TOTALLY WORTH IT! This is a tapas place so it's shareable small dishes. We always get (and did get) the patatas bravas. They are so gooood! A little on the spicy side but fine for my tasting! We also get the croquettes, also delish! We also tried the green beans.
