Pretty decent small convenient gym. Not constantly busy and crowded like other gyms. Had lockers with a key that goes with it so you dont have to worry about your own locks and can get a protein smoothie made after your workout for you. Private changing rooms with personal showers. The things I dislike about this gym location is it's located next to a bar . So there are always people hanging outside to 2-3 on the morning. This location has giant windows with no blinds so bar crowd thats walking around late night can look in..and can feel uncomfortable just knowing eyes are probably on you. The bat blast loud music at night so suggest going to other locations towards night if that would bother you. More...

If you are looking for a gym that doesn't have the insane dumb rules like planet fitness or the arrogance and rudeness as of max fitness; come to Catalyst fitness. Its cheaper, really open 24/7 365 days a year cause they are open on holidays as well. The equipment is nice and up to date and the best part is its never crowed at all locations in Fort Wayne. Owner caters to his clients in every possible way. It doesn't matter if it's membership accommodations, your choice of music, or supplying hand towels for your workout. He puts his members first and has thought of everything down to the smallest detail.... Would love to see a nonslip step stool placed at the bottom of the stair climber though. As a gym owner myself, I can sincerely and from a professional point of view, recommend Catalyst. From a facilities standpoint, the equipment is top notch and not limited in any regard. The shower rooms are well thought out, and the addition of a smoothie bar is a nice touch. The staff during my visit was helpful and visible in case I needed any help. My observation of the personal trainers was what impressed me the most. As a trainer myself I am critical, and of the 5 trainers I observed ALL of them instructing and offering corrections.
