I’m from Chicago, where I’m used to a certain taste of fried chicken.. I asked for fried hard with lemon pepper and it was the best chicken I’ve had since I moved to Georgia in 2013! ! Great food (southern comfort soul food)! Dont let the adjoining business dissuade you from stopping here. Delicious "southern comfort " food. Visited for dinner last night and breakfast this morning. Excellent fried chicken and yams (secret family recipe). Breakfast platter was excellent, especially the chicken that accompanied the eggs and grits. The owner was very friendly and we chatted for a long time. Don't let the adjoining gas station discourage you from stopping. I promise, it's not your "typical" food/gas stop. Great food, great value! My husband, 1.5 year old daughter, and my realtor & I stopped in while checking out homes in the area. The food was out in a timely manner & the atmosphere was great. Tables were clean & we even had a chance to speak with the owners - good people! My 1.5 year old even ate the veggies! I had a burger, my husband had fried chicken & our realtor had baked chicken. This place is my hidden secret for a quick breakfast in Mcdonough. Their biscuits are little clouds of heaven with gooey cheese over properly cooked REAL eggs, their smoked sausage is killer and their bacon always crispy. Met the owner a few days ago when I was getting something at the gas station. Told me they had great breakfast, I didn’t get to check it out that day, but I asked him what he recommended for lunch and told me to get the double bacon cheeseburger. Many aspects go into creating the perfect menu. We design our menu based on extensive, detailed information from our client, their event and the atmosphere they wish to ovarian.
