I got the interview! I need a resume FAST. I mean in less than 24 hours. Norm was the only one I could find that said he could do it. And he did. He delivered a great new, polished resume right on time. I called him on the afternoon, we set up an appt. to meet the next morning. He interviewed me with some very important questions and really dug to get my achievements out of me. This is exactly what I needed. Norm Cohn prepared my resume and I am totally satisfied with it. I thought my original resume was a good one, but when I sent it out for job openings that l thought were a match, I never heard back . Norm showed me a dozen different ways to make my resume better. Mostly what I wrote was pretty boring, and it probably looked just like everyone else's resume. There was nothing in it that showed I was the best at my job. That's Norm's specialty. He asked me lots of solid questions about not only what I did, but what makes me special. There is so much new information in my resume that I would not have thought to add. There's also a lot of information on my resume that doesn't belong there, like anything not related to the job I want. I guess what he really did was to focus me on writing a resume specifically focused on the job I'm looking for. I also really appreciated not having any forms to fill out like the cheap online places have. I came in, I talked with him and answered all his questions, and he took it from there. Solid resume writer. Norm gets straight to the point and makes sure that the information that goes in the resume is what's going to get me the job. He focused in on the job requirements and probed for all the work I had done that made me a match for the opening I wanted. Then after each job he asked what I did that would make a hiring manager call me over anyone else. I am really glad that I chose Career Finders to do my resume. My experience with this company and its owner, Norman Cohn was very positive and I feel that the resume he created for me was well worth the money. Personally, I am wary of the countless online resume-writing business ads promising to deliver a "quality" resume to me within 24 hours without any personal contact. Norman actually took time to get to know me during our scheduled appointment at his office and he asked me a lot of questions about my professional background in order to showcase my job skils and work experience in the best possible way to the hiring companies. Answering his questions made me realize I had a lot more to offer to the prospective employers than I ever thought I did and gave me more confidence in myself and my abilities, which I was lacking in my past job interviews. Norman also provided me with many helpful interview tips and even quite a few insights into the industries I was keenly interested in that he had received from numerous satisfied clients over the course of his 25 years in business. I felt that he genuinely cared about my career needs rather than just trying to get me in and out, and onto the next client, and that his professional advice would definitely steer me in the right direction to make me more successful in my job search.
