We found Lauren through a Facebook group for parents. We also spoke to another attorney found through work connections, but after our first discussion with Lauren we felt confident that we wanted to move ahead with her, even though we had a discount available through the other firm. She didn't disappoint - from the first meeting through the final signing of the documents she impressed with her thoroughness and knowledge. Neither my spouse nor I had ever created documents of this kind and Lauren was great about walking us through each choice and explaining the pros and cons of each option. She also took our long term plans and expectations into account, so we'll only need minimal adjustments to the documents in the future, which is great but on the down side also means we won't have any excuses to work with such a solid professional for a long time to come.
