Capitol Limo

I've used Capitol on three occasions and have always had a great experience with them! The cars are clean and the drivers are on time and professional.

Our driver was amazing-- I honestly wish I could remember how to spell his name (drove us around April 26 in DC from 2-7). So very nice and accommodating with all our photo pit stops around DC monuments on a relatively traffic filled day without issue. I have used them about 30 times for trips to SFO.   They missed my pick up once and offered to comp my taxi.   They typically show up 10-30 minutes early. One time their credit card machine would not work so they said, "pay next time".  No company is perfect, but I am very happy with these folks.  Drivers are professional, cars are clean.  SFO cabs aren't bad, but why not take a town car for the same price... or less quite frankly?   David. We used Capitol 3 times during my daughter and son (in-laws) wedding this past week. 2 rides in from the airport and one on the day of the wedding. Both times the trip from the airport the riders were happy and picked up on time. The day of the wedding we got the big 14 seater which was very nice and fun. Hoping to get 5 shuttles to a very close church (from the hotel), we only got 3 because of the length of the limo. Just a beware not their fault. The driver was very nice and the bride and bridesmaids had a lot of fun. The price was very fair comparatively yet the bride never go her complimentary bottle of champagne they include, and when i called for a bottle for the airport run, they said they would have to make a special trip and charge more. They should keep a case or two on hand?All in all I would recommend them and use them again! More...

Capitol Limousine did an excellent job at my wedding this past weekend. I was worried about the logistics of getting guests to and from the various locations in San Francisco and the East Bay. Both the sedans and the shuttle bus were on time and knew exactly where to go. The cars were comfortable and the drivers were incredibly professional, patient and helpful. I purchased 2 rides to SFO on Plum District for $35 (regular price is $55). With tip that puts us very close to a cab ride (which is almost always $45 with tip for us), but it is a much more comfortable ride and you can book in advance. The driver arrived 10 minutes early, and the ride itself was fine, although the driver was a bit chatty and did talk on his cell for a little while. Overall no biggy. It did strike me that this operation is run by like, one guy. I booked online then called to confirm and he seemed frenzied from all the Plum District sales. Then I called the day of my ride to reconfirm and I think it routed to his cell number and I had to call back a half hour later when he was in the office. This process all ended up fine, but just know that it is not as automated as you might like. I would use this service again if I had a large party going to an airport, since I think even at their regular prices a van that holds 6 is still cheaper than two cabs. But I'll probably just stick with good old yellow cab if I have to pay full price for a typical ride to the airport. More...

Capitol Limosine was fantastic.  We were picked up on time and our driver was professional and courteous.  He even drove us to a grocery store that was out of the way so we could hop out and buy a few beers for the ride home.  The best part was that I left my jacket in the limo and didn't remember until two weeks (!) later.  I called, spoke to someone on the phone who then talked to our driver, and another driver dropped off my jacket at my apartment later that day.  How great is that?! We used Capitol Limousine as airport transfers for guests to/from our wedding/hotel as well as for a shuttle at the wedding (parking was 1/4 mile from the venue). They were on time for all pick-ups, Tom arrived at the wedding for shuttle with a Bus (versus the Van we ordered) because he felt the guests would be more comfortable - free upgrade!  He also stayed almost 3 hours later than I told him (orig told him to shuttle from 2pm - 8pm and he stayed till 10:30pm getting all the guests back to their cars).One of our guest had a town car pick them up from the airport and it was a bit dated, had some problems getting up the huge driveway at the venue....upon pick-up for their return to the airport Capitol showed up in a brand new stretch limo to make up for it.Overall there are many business' to choose from in this category - all charging about the same price, I chose Capitol simply because they run the business around the corner from where we live and thought it best to give the biz to a neighbor.They exceeded all expectations. I'm not sure of the previous reviews but I had a wonderful experience using capitol limo. I first booked their stretch navigator limo to celebrate my 22nd birthday, but when talking to their dispatcher "Leon" he recommended that I do the party bus instead.  I decided to go with it and hoped for the best. I was assured that we would be going to 3 of the hottest nightclubs in the city and that I would have an awesome time. The driver picked us up promptly for dinner and took us to some very nice clubs. The service was excellent and the driver was very understanding of a couple of friends of mine that were drunk. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and am grateful that they recommended  the party bus instead of the limo. Thank you very much Capitol, I will be sure to book more events with you guys!! More...

Capitol is perfect as it's big enough that they'll likely have a car available for you on a moment's notice, but it's smaller than a company like giant Dav El, giving you room to negotiate a good price and very personable drivers.
