Could use some updating but being right on the water it was beautiful price was great. I was nervous about bar underneath us but honestly by 9 10 it was peaceful and respectful

Quaint New England style resort right on the Marina where Wicked Tuna boats have slips. Gorgeous views of the channel and bridge that opens to let boats pass through out to the Atlantic. |Great hospitality, friendly helpfull staff with comfortable accommodations. We hit the fall colors almost perfect. Whale watching boats right outside the door. Our tour was amazing, seeing 3 different types of whales while touring. Then a great dinner in the hotel.

The food was delicious! My daughter absolutely loved the Lobster Mac and Cheese and the oysters were very fresh. Definitely will go again when in the area.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and informative. View of the Marina is gorgeous and our room was very clean. Only downfall was that our room was right next to the bar so it was a bit noisy.

Wanted to check out Gloucester because of the show Wicked Tuna on TV and the town and this place did not disappoint. We randomly ran into two of the boat captains who were super cool about taking pictures and chatting with us. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms themselves are a little on the older side but clean and comfortable. The restaurant was great, the pool was huge and there were games and a little seating area for kids. This was a cool little place in neat town if you like fishing. The people seemed to genuinely enjoy it there, as did we. Can't say enough good about it. If you like fishing, check it out. More...

We heard about Mile Marker 1 off “No Shoes Radio” Serious XM Radio Kenny Chesney!!!! We re routed our RV trip to come check it out! So glad we did! It was a beautiful day...we decided to take a drive to Gloucester and enjoy a few drinks outside overlooking the water. Our server was friendly and attentive. It was game day and the Patriots were playing; it was VERY busy but we were able to get seats outside overlooking the marina. I do have to mention I was not thrilled with young people sitting in the new lounge furniture with their feet up on tables and seats without any shoes on! We celebrated a milestone birthday at the Cape Anne Resort. We rented their pavilion tent and had it catered. Then stayed a few days to enjoy the area. The staff was amazing!! The rooms were comfortable and the view was amazing. The buildings are old and weathered but well maintained. It’s within walking distance to downtown and the memorials. Prices were reasonable. I loved this place last year before New Management took over and shut down all the entertainment and closed to early this year 2019 , it was a very lively place before and open to the public. The scenery is a #1 place.
