So we had a bad experience there. Leave it to my boyfriend to call them on the issues that we had. This wonderful family ownes place would not hear that their customers had a bad experience. So they setup a valentines dinner for us. It was fantastic. They definitely made up for any complaint. Great service, fun atmosphere, huge portions, and great food. Have not eaten here for quite a few years due to moving, lunch was still great! Always enjoy the green chili soup and my wife enjoyed her club sandwich! One of the best meals I've ever eaten. Had a group of 5 hiking in Black Canyon and drove to Montrose for a non-chain restaurant meal.
Couldn't have chosen a better place. We took a nearly week-long trip to the area and ate at a number of locales, but none was better than Camp Robber.
Great service, great food, and really terrific desserts. Don't miss this if you visit the area.

Yum!!! Get the green chili soup and the pistachio crusted pork medallions. Simply amazing, and one of the best local restaurants I've been to in years.

I love their pistachio encrusted pork medallions. It was as if the serving size had been cut almost in half though. Hopefully it was a one-time-only fluke. Still tasted great!

As a Vegan finding food when I travel is tough. I used my HappyCow App and Camp Robber was on the short list. I saw Vegan cake and was all in. I got there and as soon as I said I was Vegan the staff was helping me put my meal together. They have an awesome grilled eggplant sandwich and we added more veggies and marinara then ditched the cheese. The sandwich and sweet potato fries was the best meal I have had out in my two weeks on the road. I can't tell you about the cake because I had no room for It! Next month when I am back in Montrose. Had a wonderful meal, in a warm comfortable setting. Our server was great, as well. My wife and I both had blackened salmon, which was prepared perfectly. Her's topped a nice Caesar salad and mine came with some delicious asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. I highly recommend Camp Robber. More...

Fresh food from local sources. We had a salad with grilled chicken. The homemade dressing was phenomenal. GREAT STAFF! The salsa trio was legendary.
Kim, the owner, was on the floor making every guest welcome and spent time with us. Visiting the Montrose area and this was our first stop from the airport. It was such a great experience, we’re planning to stop on our way out. Congratulations to Kim and husband Chef Bill. You’ve got it going on. Give those snots up in Telluride a lesson in Western U.S. hospitality. They could use it.

My first visit to Camp Robber was nice, the bar area is quiet and cozy. Very nice atmosphere here. The waitresses were fantastic. I'm glad we chose to go there. Very friendly accommodating waitress who was nice enough to suggest 1/2 portions cause I didn't want a lot to eat. Excellent menu. Great selection of items.
