This place has really delicious cupcakes in unique flavors. The interior seems to be designed more as a studio space for their cake business but there are still places to eat, and you can also eat outside and enjoy the fountain if you prefer. The people who run it are also super nice. More...

I ordered my wedding cake from here. Im not from the Triangle, but my wedding was in Durham and this was the first cake place i looked at. And ill tell you what, i never looked anywhere else! Brie was wonderful, professional, and knew exactly what i wanted!! All of my interactions with her were amazing, and since working with her we have ordered cupcakes, birthday cakes and lots more (because that Butter Almond cake is TO DIE FOR!!!). We somehow toppled our six cupcakes in the bag before we got to the car... We probably would have done better just taking the box and leaving the bag so we'd keep the sense of right-side-up straight. .. BUT we had forks and napkins and waded through the mix to taste all six flavors. Lucky -most of the icing was the same, but the insides were different, moist and amazing. The shop has a super sleek atmosphere. Be warned that you park on the side of the building and walk a short distance around in front of the waterfall to enter. We denied ourselves the cupcake-in-hand-stuff-in-mouth experience, but that forks-in-the-box action made up for it. LOVED working with Cake Couture for my son's cake smash cake. I showed them a picture and told them color themes and they made it better than I could have imagined. It photographed beautifully in his 1 year old pictures, even when it was smashed up, and tasted delicious. I worked with Cake Couture for a week long event, organized by my church. She provided lunch and dinner for us during the week. She arrived on time, offered delicious food to accommodate a variety of food restrictions (vegan, gluten-free, etc), and her customer service was amazing. I gave my daughter a surprise 7th birthday party at Cake Couture last weekend and it was absolutely amazing!!! This was the best birthday celebration she's had so far. Brie and her staff were patient and extremely accomodating. They provided a cake, cupcakes, and cake pops and they were all delicious and beautifully decorated. The cake was and still is super moist and flavorful even days later. Brie was professional over the months of planning and fully executed the party's unicorn theme. During the party, they were right there the entire time, fully engaged and continuously making sure we had ice, beverages, utensils, music.....just whatever you can think of. Brie was fabulous! She has a wide variety of cupcake flavors and our guests absolutely loved them! They loved the opportunity to pick out their own flavor instead of having one choice with a cake. Fabulous cakes! From the minute we went to our cake tasting I new this was the place we were going with! They gave us multiple options for the tasting and even let us try a few cake truffles & cupcakes. For our wedding we had 3 different cakes, Chocolate (Gluten Free), Almond (2 tier cake in the picture) and Marble. The buttercream on the outside of all the cakes was Vanilla, and it was the perfect amount.
