Great spot for a beer and a burger after hitting the museum campus. Huge selection of craft draft beers and delicious food. My dad and I shared the truffle Parmesan pretzel bites which were totally out of bounds. Fun casual atmosphere and a cheery staff. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for some tasty food and a taste of the sacrament! More...
Burger Bar was wonderful place to eat. I don't live in Chicago, but this place would be the place for me to go to next time I visit. Wonderful customer service. Thank you, and happy holidays More...
Great food, great service; and awesome music!
Excellent service , amazing food , great atmosphere. Definitely coming back here
Extensive beer menu with lots of local faves. The "stacker" burgers are very interesting. We took the recommendations of our server and the manager and we were not disappointed. Not only is the burger cooked to perfection but the toppings just blow it over the edge. The fries are hand cut and the sweet potato tots are delicious! I only got a shake to go which was great. The pricing is awesome compared to the amount of food you get. And the manager kept constantly checking on us - very attentive. I think we're going to have to add this place to our fave rotation when we're back in Chicago. More...

The service and food (especially the poutine and pork belly suckers) are amazing! Will absolutely be back!!
Great burger and drinks. Enjoyed our after race fuel. Appreciate that you have more than beer.

Went there yesterday to get a cocktail and some appetizers after work. I honestly wasn't impressed. We ordered the spicy chips with guac and queso and we had the chili fire chicken strips. It was all pretty bland and not really flavorful. None of the food was spicy, it just seemed as if it had been doused over with chili powder. The fries were okay, but they got cold pretty fast. The fried pickles had extra salt drizzled over them which made them too salty. I mean it's fried pickles. Pickles are already salty. The queso wasn't good, the guac was just really Bland. And I LOVE guac. I've never gone anywhere where I've had chips and guac and I left any guac behind on the table! All the food seemed like it was store bought freezer food and just popped into a microwave! The only saving grace was the wait staff and our server both of whom were very friendly and very pleasant. Also the drinks were great! That's the only thing saving me from giving it one star. Maybe because they are known for their burgers, they really don't put much effort into the appetizers? I would definitely go back for after work drinks, but probably not to eat anything. More...

After a great day at the Museum this was a fantastic find. Atmosphere was happy! The food looked excellent although we didn't get past the refreshing drinks!
Great food. Super great service. Awsome burgers. Group of 7 and not a single complaint! This is the place for fabulous burgers! Chips were soooo good but the fries received alot of compliments too. More...

I always have such a hard time in this restaurant
cuz everything looks so darn tootin. I finally selected the burger bar salad (rare with bluecheese dressing) and was in heaven for 22 minutes as I worked HARD to finish this giant dish. The burger was buttery perfection. The rest was perfect. Love getting surprised! More...
We stumbled onto this place a few years ago after the shamrock shuffle and we loved it. This is now our after Race staple for all races that end in millennium park. We love the great burger selection, along with the great enventory of micro-brews. This is a must if you are running any of the races throughout the year. More...
We decided to give Burger Bar another try because we love the food and visited frequently when it first opened...but the service the last couple of times was horrible including last night! We went last night around 8pm there were only 4 people at the bar and it wasn’t busy AT ALL the service by our female bartender (who was on her phone) was not only unfriendly but rushed and VERY SLOW! We sat at the corner of the bar and witnessed people sit down and wait along time and had to ask the hostess if there was a bartender working??? She had a food runner and it wasn’t even busy?! Two couples walked in and after waiting along time walked out because there was no hostess in sight for a while she just disappeared and no manager in sight We were going to order to dinner but after out drinks and appetizer took so long we decided to leave. There have been several bartenders/waitress turnovers since opening, as someone who worked in hospitality that is it a good sign! More...
I was suggested an awesome beer to complement my shrimp burger that was out of this world. My son ordered a veggie burger with parmigiana truffle fries that was so delicious till the last bite. We were full but kept on eating. It was that delicious 😋
Definitely will go again.

The food is great, that’s literally the only reason this is getting a three star review. I’ve been to Burger Bar three times and each time the service has been ATROCIOUS!
The following happened yesterday- the server forgot to put our drink orders in, she didn’t come back to see if we’d like refills (we had to go to the bar and get them ourselves), the food took forever to get to us, and the manager wasn’t on the floor at all on a Sunday afternoon.
I highly doubt we will return. It’s a shame because the food is quite good, but not worth the terrible service. More...
I discovered this place last summer and have been back many times since. The smell of grilled food often fills the intersection of Roosevelt and Michigan, and it's enough to draw you inside! The atmosphere is warm and the food is great. My favorite menu item (so far) is the Barbacoa Stacker. I ordered it when I went yesterday and when asked, I told the manager that it's probably the best burger I've ever had, besides the first time I had it of course! More...

This was the worst service I’ve ever had. My friend choose this place for its gluten free options and was given a regular bun and became ill. We had to ask for everything more than once. No silverware, no straw given after requesting. Shakes never came, so when I asked for them to be taken off the bill he said he get them made to go. It was 32 degrees out. Totally want to walk around with them. The server liked to the owner about the bun, when he told us he had written it on the ticket. The finally removed the charge for the burger, but that was it. My friend was made I’ll and that’s the best they could do??? Terrible experience. And no it wasn’t busy when this happened. More...
